[At Home – Evening Time]
Skand and his uncle sat together in the room. Soft golden sunlight filtered through the window, casting long shadows on the floor.
Skand had told his uncle everything —how his engagement was broken,his clash with Mahajan Som,his surprising victory in the market,and how he managed to arrange treatment for his mother.
Uncle (taking a deep breath):"That wretched girl and her greedy father...I never imagined Dheeraj and his daughter Malvi would break ties in our worst times.It's true — a person's real face is revealed in the face of adversity."
Skand (smiling calmly):"Let it go, Uncle. There's no point wasting time thinking about people who were never truly ours."
Uncle (smiling with pride):"It feels good to see you handle everything so well now."
(A moment passes. His uncle's face turns serious.)
Uncle:"But listen carefully, Skand.Mahajan Som won't let go of his humiliation so easily.Back when your father used to run the shop, Som was our biggest rival.He's cunning… and ruthless.I fear he might try to harm you."
[Skand's Confidence]
Skand (smiling, his voice steady and calm):"Uncle, don't worry.Whatever happens — I'll deal with it."
Uncle (thinking to himself):"This boy... he's not the same anymore.Maybe the pain of a broken engagement has made him stronger.Perhaps… this transformation was necessary."
[Skand's Proposal]
Skand (leaning forward with excitement):"Uncle, I have an idea — what if we start a new business together?"
Uncle:"What kind of business?"
Skand:"You've got years of experience in trade.So why not combine that with my ideas and build something big?Perfume will only take us so far.We need something new — something no one else in the market has even dreamed of."
(His uncle looks at him with curiosity and intrigue.)
Uncle (interested):"And what exactly will we sell?"
Skand (smiling, a mysterious glint in his eyes):"I'll create something unique, thatyou won't believe your eyes when you see it."
Uncle (thinking to himself):"Is this really the same Skand I once knew?"
