Chapter 8 - Shadows in the Archive

Mira led the group through the forest. The wind was quiet, but something in the air felt strange, like time itself was shaking. They stopped in front of a big stone door built into a hill. Vines covered it, and strange symbols were carved into the stone.

"This is the Archive," Mira said softly. "It holds the truth about time."

She touched the door and said some old words. The door slowly opened without a sound.

Inside, the room glowed with soft blue light. Scrolls floated in the air. The walls were smooth stone, but they sparkled like stars. The place felt magical.

In the center of the room was a round table made of clear crystal. Mira walked toward it and waved her hand above it. A light flashed, and images began to appear on the table's surface.

First, they saw Elias. He stood on a stage, wearing dark clothes. Behind him stood people from different times—some wore armor, some modern clothes, some strange robes. All were listening to him.

Then, a news screen appeared.

BREAKING NEWS: Elias Verin Claims Control of Time

"Elias Verin, a former history expert, has told the world he wants to lead time itself. He says the people who guard time have failed. His group, called the Chrono Order, is gathering followers in many timelines. They believe time should be ruled, not protected."

Jimmy gasped. "He's really trying to take over everything."

Mira nodded. "He's using secrets from the past. From the Kayı tribe."

Jack looked surprised. "The tribe Ali's with?"

"Yes," Mira said. "The Kayı once guarded a powerful object—the Stone of the Breath. It helps keep time stable. If Elias takes it, he can control all of time."

Alex looked worried. "Does Ali know?"

"No," Mira said. "And there's something else. Elias isn't using his real name there. In the Kayı tribe, he's called Balıkçı—The Fisherman. He acts kind and wise, but he's hiding who he really is."

---

Meanwhile, in the past…

Ali sat near a fire, listening to the wind. The sky was dark, and the air felt heavy. Turgut, the old hunter, sat beside him.

"You feel it too," Turgut said. "Something is wrong."

Ali nodded. "Elias… or Balıkçı… is not who he says. He brings strange tools. He asks too many questions. People are scared of him."

Turgut frowned. "He wants the Stone. But we have more to fear. There is an old enemy here—one we thought was long gone."

Ali looked at him. "Who?"

Turgut's voice was low. "Baykuş—the Owl. A leader from long ago. He once tried to take the Stone by force. We thought he was dead, but now… Elias may have brought him back."

Ali stood up. "Then we stop them. We find my friends. We protect the Kayı."

Turgut smiled and gripped his shoulder. "The tribe will fight with you. We stand for time."

Back in the present…

Mira turned to Jack, Alex, Jimmy, and Adam.

"We must return to the past," she said. "Before Elias finds the Stone. Before Baykuş causes more harm."

Jack looked around the glowing Archive. "Then let's go."

Light began to swirl around them again.

Time was running out. The final battle was coming. And all of history was at stake.
