The Fury gave an evil grin showing it's sharp fangs. It's skin covered in red scales. The outside edge of each scale is black fading into the red of the scale.
The more dark energy a Fury consumes, the more the back will take over the red. Once all the red is consumed, the Fury will evolve into the next stage of deamon.
But Teddy is planning to kill this fury before it can get to that point. The more the Fury fights, the more dark energy it will use up.
Teddy figures that as long as he can keep it fighting, it won't be able to evolve. As long as it doesn't evolve, his ladies still stand a chance against it. However if it evoles, only he will be able to fight it.
But Teddy does have a backup if this happens. He just hopes he won't have to use it.
Mirella eventually regained her senses and snapped her sister Seraphine out of her stunned state.
Together, they have a dual attack that they can unleash. It's called the Sisters Sword Waltz. There is five total sets of movement in this sword technique.
Mirella took the dragon stance and Seraphine took the mantis stance. Both had their swords drawn and ready to attack.
The dragon stance was the latest the sisters had created. It focuses on aggression and the moves are very elegant.
The mantis stance focuses on patience, misdirection, and ambush. It was created by Seraphine herself. It as well as the lotus stance were the original two stances.
Both the mantis and lotus stances have a graceful feel to them. The movements are smooth and unpredictable.
Just before the sisters made their move, I flash of light poured out from Teddy's direction. Next thing anyone knew was Teddy had on his fighting garments that he got from the trials.
Teddy laughed at the Fury. The Fury didn't know how to react. This guy changed his clothes and now is laughing at him?
Then Teddy looked at his two beautiful women and said, "I got the Fury. You can have the Imp."
Then thunder clouds rolled in overhead. Lightning started to dance as thunder clashed. Teddy started to float in the air as red and white electric arcs danced around him.
This sight caused the Fury to tremble. It started to look around trying to find a way to escape.
Teddy chuckled maliciously as he said, "You're not trying to escape are you?"
Teddy raised his staff in the air. Red and white electric arcs raise up into the sky and mixed with the lightning. Next, red, white, and normal lightning struck down towards the edges of the cemetery.
Next thing anyone knew, an electric barrier was formed around the cemetery. This barrier prevented anyone from entering or leaving the cemetery.
Both the Imp and Fury was shaking in fear. This might be their end. In a last ditch effort, the Fury shot a bolt made of black void energy at the Imp.
When it hit the Imp something happened that shocked everyone. The Imp began to cry out in pain as the sound of cracking bones and flesh tearing could be heard.
After about thirty seconds, the Imp had been completely transformed. One of the reasons why Imp's never evolve is this right here. They're often sacrificed to summon a beast from the underworld.
The beast summoned here is known to humans as a Hellhound.
The Hellhound kinda looks like a mutant dog. It has for legs but no fur and when on all fours, it can look a grown man in the face. It also is extremely muscular.
This sight discussed Teddy, Mirella, and Seraphine.
Teddy looked at the two women and said, "Change of plans. We will switch targets."
The two women did not complain one bit. They didn't want to face this hideous creature so they nodded vigorously and focused on the Fury.
Teddy pointed his left index finger at the hell hound and a bolt of red and white electricity shot out heading towards it.
The Hellhound instinctively knew how dangerous this attack was and dodge out of the way. For such a massive and bulky creature, Teddy was surprised at how nimble it was.
The Hellhound then lunged at Teddy. Teddy knew that this fight wasn't going to be as quick as some in the past.
At the same time the two ladies engaged with the Fury in close quarters combat. The forms the two ladies decided to go with worked perfectly together against this deamon.
It wasn't long before they had the Fury on it's back foot and at a huge disadvantage.
Overall things were looking good for the two ladies and Teddy knew he could defeat this hell hound. What could possibly go wrong?
But it was exactly at this point things took an unexpected turn against Teddy and his companions.
Teddy managed to dodge the Hellhound however what happened next was a shadow rose up and the Hellhound swallowed it.
A joyous look crept on the Hellhound's face. It then went around swallowing up other spirit shadows. As it did this it continued to get stronger.
Eventually at one point it let out a hellish howl and began to split into two equally sized as before Hellhounds. This was The unlucky turn of events.
Teddy had no choice at this point but to go all out. With an apologetic look on his face, he opened a portal and threw the two ladies into it. The ladies ended up on the outside of the massive electric dome that Teddy created.
Teddy then closed the portal so they could not come back through. He then raised his staff into the air and slammed the bottom of it into the ground. What this caused was a massive area of effect lightning attack.
How this lightning attack worked was it would send down lightning bolts hitting every living being within the area of effect. The only exception being the caster. This was one of Teddy's killing moves.
If all went well every deamon inside the electric dome will be destroyed.
The ladies outside the dome watched in anticipation. The lightning strikes causing blinding light blocking the view of what was going on. All they can help was Teddy will be all right.
After a minute things settled down. The lightning dome was still up but a lot weaker.
As the ladies looked around for Teddy the destruction was obvious. They saw six Hellhounds lying dead, several tombstones either completely destroyed or parts blasted off of them, burnt marks all over the place, but no sign of Teddy.
Then they saw one Hellhound and the Fury standing there alive but obviously injured. Teddy stood a little bit away from them as well. He was untouched but obviously tired.
If one was to look into the eyes of the Hellhound and Fury they would see immense fear.
With this scene in front of them things now became clear. The Hellhound kept swallowing spirit shadows to stay alive and kept splitting into additional Hellhounds.
This was all in attempt to both stay alive and try to get an advantage on Teddy to which the second half obviously failed.
Nevertheless, both the Hellhound and the Fury wasn't in the best of shape. They needed to find a way to kill this pesky cultivator before he kills them.
Suddenly, Teddy let out a long laugh. Both deamons were puzzled. What was so funny about a fight to the death?
When Teddy's laughter had calmed, he said, "You two may have survived that attack, but I can sense that both of you are severely injured. With my next attack you will die."
He then spoke directly to the Hellhound.
"Submit and become my bounded pet and I'll let you live. Refuse and you'll die first."
The Hellhound deamon didn't know what to do. It was summoned by the Fury technically making the Fury it's master. But at the same time it knew it was going to die along side the Fury.
This human was obviously much more powerful than the two of them combined. What should the Hellhound do?
No it cannot betray it's master. The Hellhound shook its head indicating no then prepared itself to attack.
But right at this point, Teddy began to laugh again, just not as hard as before. He clapped as well.
"Good. I like your loyalty. I had planned to find a way to summon a Hellhound myself as soon as this one was summoned. However I wasn't sure if it could be trusted to remain loyal. Thanks for showing me beasts like you can."
And with that, a pillar of white fire wrapped in red electric arcs shot out at each of them. A second later and two explosions rang out at the same time.
Dust filled the air where the Hellhound and Fury deamons once stood. When the dust cleared, all that remained was two craters and two black beads.
