"Please don't tell a single soul about this, or else..." said Asano.
"Sure. Please go straight to the point." said Jousuke.
"As we gathered here earlier, we had a meeting about the upcoming halloween. Our dear principal—Darika Okabayashi, asked the student council to host an event or program about halloween. All the teachers has been told about this. Meaning, it is decided. But they didn't give an exact theme nor activities for the halloween. As the student council officers, which is us—the host, we had a meeting earlier about what should we do for the halloween. It could be cosplay contest, make-up contest, or anything else. But we've only thought of cosplay contest and make-up contest. Three of us agreed to have one or both of those contests, while the three of us opposed the idea. Our meeting resulted into an undecided solution. So we've decided to ask another person that isn't a student council officer to criticize the situation in a fair way. Hence, we are hoping for you to give us your best opinion about this. We will not reveal what opinion we've voted for earlier so you can think in a fair way. And please keep in mind that you shan't give a vague answer, Daikuhara-kun." said Poku.
While listening, Jousuke's trying to process on what he should do in this kind of situation. He thought to himself "If I chose the contests side, a lot of students will give a complaint about finances. But if I chose the other side, the student council will be left with no more ideas for the upcoming halloween."
After a few moments of thinking, Jousuke thought of an idea. He replied to Poku "Since financial problems is one of the biggest issues of students, cosplay contest would cause a big impact on their finances. Even though they lack money, if that's their passion, they would force themselves or their parents for a lot money just to do a cosplay. However, make-up contest isn't that heavy on finances; it could be an enjoyable event for everyone. In spite of that, since not all of the students wants that kind of events, especially introverts, it would be better if it's not required. In addition, every contests requires the two most important things, contestants and prize. Certainly, contestants wouldn't be a problem. The only thing you will spend money on is the prize. To summarize what I've said, make-up contest that isn't required for all the students would be nice, but you guys have to give them a worthy prize."
"Uhm, in all honesty, I think you gave the best idea. Everyone, raise your hand if you agree with Daikuhara-kun's opinion." said Poku.
Everyone raised their hands, which made Poku, Kenshin, and Asano smile.
"Great, it's decided then! However, it is still not settled yet. We still have to ask for the principal's consent. Anyways, thank you for your help, Daikuhara-kun." said Poku.
Then everyone said "Thank you!" as Jousuke left the student council's office.
-PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE-
"I see." said the principal—Darika Okabayashi. She paused for a moment and continued speaking "As the school's principal, I will hold a big responsibility if the school supervisor will not support my decision. Poku-chan, Esashi-kun, Asano-kun, you can leave for now. Please come back here during break time with Daikuhara-kun. I will try to call the supervisor for her opinion."
"I understand." said Poku.
As they're about to exit the door, the three of them said "Thank you for your hard work. We'll take our leave now." then they went back to their classrooms except for Kenshin.
Kenshin went to Jousuke once again. While walking towards Jousuke's classroom, he seems to be annoyed again because of the people looking at him.
He thought to himself "What the hell!? Don't look at me!"

"S-sure, I will." said Jousuke.
"Thanks man! We'll count on you." said Kenshin as he left with a weird smile.
-OKABAYASHI'S POINT OF VIEW-
:What was going through my mind that made me request a halloween event anyways?
"Maybe I shouldn't have bothered the student council at all; they're just some indecisive students anyways."
:That's right, I have to call her.
*Okabayashi called the supervisor—Misaki Shinohara."
:Good morning, Shinohara-sama.
;Good morning, Okabayashi-sama. May I help you?
:Yes please. So we all know that halloween's next week right?
;Indeed.
:I was wondering, Shinohara-sama, as a japanese who grew up and studied in another country, is make-up and costume allowed in such holidays?
;Yes, it is allowed, Okabayashi-sama. In fact, it is commonly celebrated nationwide every year with the same contests. Please do a unique one for the students. And make sure that the celebration will be held inside the school only.
:Thank you for enlightenment, Shinohara-sama. I assure you that your requests will be followed.
;Well then, thank you for your hard work and goodbye, Okabayashi-sama.
:Same to you, thank you for your hard work and goodbye, Shinohara-sama.
*Okabayashi hung up the phone and sighed*
"Unique one for the students, huh?"
*Okabayashi stood up and looked at the window*
"Just make-up contest? Are you trying to make us look bad, Poku?"

The scool bell rang as a sign of breaktime. Jousuke quickly stood up when the teacher left their classroom.
"Oh yeah, I have to go to the student council's office again." said Jousuke.
He stood up and left the classroom, making Leah, Basaki, Asa, and Natsu think that Jousuke did something wrong. The four of them thought at the same time "Could it be...he violated school rules?"
-STUDENT COUNCIL'S OFFICE-
Jousuke knocked at the door, but no one answered, thinking he was late and left alone. He continued knocking repeatedly while saying "Hello? Is someone there?"
After a few tries, Jousuke was about to go back to their classroom but he saw Kenshin running towards him while smiling.
Kenshin laughed and said "You're too early, Jousuke. We're always late here y'know?"
Suddenly, Asano appeared behind Jousuke and said "What do you mean? It's only you who's always late."
Kenshin hushed Asano and whispered "Hey, don't say that! Someone might hear you!"
"Well, it's true though, Esashi-kun! Anyways I didn't know you and Daikuhara-kun were close." said Poku as she appeared behind Asano.
Kenshin replied "Oh, yes. We're best friends since 9th grade."
"Is that so? Then, let Asano and I be friends with you as well, Daikuhara-kun!" said Poku.
"S-sure..." Jousuke replied.
"Anyways, as the principal have said, we should go to her office during breaktime, so let's go." said Asano.
While walking, Jousuke felt a huge culture shock after having a chat, casually, with the student council. He thought to himself "I've always thought you guys were like the student council I see in mangas. Your auras earlier felt different in formal form though." and then he sighed.
-PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE-
Okabayashi heard knocks on the door and thought to herself "Oh, right. I told them to come back." and then she said "The door's open, you can come in."
"Good afterno-" said Poku as they entered the principal's office but she was interrupted by Okabayashi saying "It's decided now. Have a seat please."
The four of them were shocked about the principal have said and all of them sat down.
"S-so how did it go?" Poku asked.
"Don't be so nervous, Poku-chan. As the supervisor and I had a talk earlier on the phone, it is confirmed that we are allowed to use make-ups and costumes. However, as you've told me earlier, Poku-chan, your acquaintance—Daikuhara-kun's suggestion opposes the supervisor's suggestion, which was to use costumes as well. Using make-ups would be nice, but costumes would make it nicer. But as a consideration to those students who's struggling financially, we'll not force all of the students to compete. Only those who are willing should. Is that clear?" said Okabayashi.
Poku, Kenshin, and Asano said "Yes!" at the same time.
On the other hand, Jousuke' didn't say anything but he said in his thoughts "Yeah, I guess it's fine though."
"However, Okabayashi-sama, I think contests aren't enough for an event. So I'm thinking, should we decorate the school as well?" Kenshin asked.
"That's actually not a bad idea, Esashi-kun. But since the student council will be hosting the event, you should also monitor the maintenance of cleanliness throughout the school. And you, Daikuhara-kun, since you've participated in the student council today, you have to help them as well, understood?" said the principal.
"Yes, I understand!" said Jousuke.
"Anyways, Okabayashi-san, since the position of auditor in the student council is vacant, why don't we let Daikuhara-kun take the spot?" Asano asked.
Okabayashi replied "That's actually not a bad idea as well, Asano-kun. Well, what do you think, Daikuhara-kun?"
Jousuke was speechless as he was shocked. Jousuke replied "Uhm..."
