Upon hearing Pryce suggestion to distribute the teleportation talismans to the division commanders, Whitebeard nodded in agreement.
After witnessing the peculiar teleportation talisman, everyone immediately thought of its numerous potential uses!
"Before handing out the teleportation talismans, I need to explain some usage precautions!"
"First, the activation time for these talismans is about five to six seconds. Be mindful of the timing if you use them in battle!"
"Second, this batch of talismans can only be used twice. The first use will take you to your desired location, and the second will bring you back to where you started!"
"Third, these talismans can only teleport you to places you've been to before. If you haven't been there, it won't work!"
"Fourth, the talismans in this batch are of the basic level and can only carry around fifty people!" Pryce explained all this in one breath.
Although there were many precautions for the first use of Pryce teleportation talismans, the division commanders didn't mind. They listened attentively, with one even taking out a notebook to jot down notes.
After explaining the precautions, Pryce didn't waste any time and promptly distributed all the talismans.
Only Marco, Jozu, and Vista, who were often on the ship, didn't receive any.
"Pryce, where's mine?" Marco shouted.
"That's right, I didn't get one either!" Whitebeard also looked at Pryce expectantly.
"You're always on the ship, I'll make yours tomorrow!" Pryce rolled his eyes and replied somewhat annoyed.
Hearing this, the group nodded sheepishly, scratching their heads and laughing awkwardly.
The division commanders were thrilled to receive their own teleportation talismans.
After chatting for a while, they prepared to head back.
"Don't leave like that!"
"Why sail when you have a teleportation talisman?" Marco reminded a division commander who was about to sail away.
"Ah!"
"What was I thinking!" The division commander laughed.
He then took out his teleportation talisman, which he kept close to his body, and activated it.
"Woo-hoo!"
"Off we go!"
A purple light enveloped him, and with an excited shout, the division commander disappeared.
"Pryce, these talismans that can only be used twice are a bit wasteful!" Marco frowned.
Given the high cost of the talismans, only being able to use them twice was quite a drawback.
"Don't worry, I've already thought of that!"
"Leave it to me!" Pryce nodded, patting his chest in assurance.
He then returned to his laboratory.
His proficiency in making teleportation talismans had improved significantly!
He could now unlock intermediate-level talismans!
Intermediate talismans could be used indefinitely!
Moreover, the activation speed and the number of people they could carry had also improved considerably! Soon, Pryce began crafting intermediate teleportation talismans.
....
Early the next morning, as Whitebeard woke up, he noticed that the light in Pryce room was still on.
Curious, Whitebeard walked over and knocked on the door.
The door opened quickly, and Whitebeard saw Pryce with two large dark circles under his eyes.
"You've been busy all night, huh!" Whitebeard said, his eyes wide.
"Yeah, I was thinking about you, Marco, and Diamond Jozu not having reusable teleportation talismans!"
"So I hurriedly made a few for you guys!" Pryce stretched and yawned as he spoke.
"You kid, we weren't in that much of a hurry!" Whitebeard said with a hint of concern.
"It's fine, Captain!"
"I'm used to staying up late!" Pryce waved his hand dismissively.
"Nonsense!"
"Your health is your greatest asset!"
"I won't allow you to ruin your health over these things!" Whitebeard immediately scolded sternly.
"Alright, alright, Captain, I get it!" Pryce nodded, visibly moved.
"Enough of that. Here are the intermediate teleportation talismans I made tonight!"
"One for you, Captain, Marco, Diamond Jozu, and Vista!" Pryce handed a few talismans to Whitebeard.
Whitebeard looked at the intermediate teleportation talisman in Pryce hand. The characters on the original primary talismans were purple, but these intermediate ones had purple symbols with streaks of gold.
"You've worked hard, Pryce!" Whitebeard carefully stowed the talismans and spoke earnestly.
"Ah!"
"Captain, you being so polite is making me uncomfortable!" Pryce chuckled.
"You brat, it's rare for me to show some tenderness!" Whitebeard laughed, amused by Pryce words.
"Really, Captain!"
"Hearing the word 'tenderness' gives me goosebumps!" Pryce said with a grin.
"Hmph!"
"Still mocking me?"
"Looks like I need to give you the same special training I gave Marco!"
Whitebeard rolled up his sleeves, ready to drag Pryce away.
Pryce quickly dodged.
"Just kidding, just kidding, Captain!"
"I'm exhausted, I'm going to sleep!" Pryce laughed, then closed the door.
Only then did Whitebeard drop his stern expression, a smile spreading across his face.
"Truly found a treasure!" Whitebeard muttered to himself, chuckling as he slowly walked back to his cabin.
Marco had also just woken up and, seeing his father Whitebeard in such a good mood early in the morning, was quite curious.
"Pops, what's up?"
"What's got you so happy?" Marco walked over and asked.
"Oh, Pryce stayed up all night making these reusable intermediate teleportation talismans!"
"Go and distribute them to the others!" Whitebeard handed a few talismans to Marco.
