Asher is not fighting alongside the knights. Asher is one of the best swordsmen in the kingdom. He is the youngest swordsman that ever got an aura. Sai was watching everything from the carriage. Asher was fighting elegantly as his sword glows golden. But it is kind of hard for Asher to fight them since there is a magical beast, not just one but five of them.
"Damn it… How did they get a hold of a magical beast? These aren't supposed to be owned by some bandits. And these beasts are acting strange. As if they are being controlled by something against their will." Asher said as he uses some of his magic to his sword to make it stronger.
Sai's POV…
"I should help him… But how… Magical beasts can only be created if the owner met the potential to have one… So how did they get some…" Sai was thinking of something that could help Asher.
But then he remembered about the system. He has forgotten about the system because of what happened. "Moon, help me out."
"System: You have finally called me… Am I forgiven then?"
"Well, I guess for now… yes…" Sai answered hesitantly.
"System: Aww…"
Sai sighs before talking again. "Moon, I need your help. My master- I mean Asher is fighting outside right now with some magical beasts. I need you to give me some sort of powers or whatever to help him. He might die before the training starts."
"System: Umm… But Sai he won't die. He is the strongest swordsman in the kingdom. I know that because I'm the system."
"I know that, but this is taking so long. He might now die but the others will since they are just normal human beings. I cannot let that happen. Not in my watch." Sai said determined to help them.
Suddenly Sai remembered something. The reward he hasn't claimed yet. "Moon, remember my reward? Can I claim that now?"
"System: Of course! Here you go you must pick between this two; 'Can tame magical beasts' or 'Dark Magic'
Sai was shocked by the reward. How is this even possible? Is this the system's way of helping him? "Moon… Are you sure about this?" Sai asks the system.
"System: This is the only way I can make it up to you… This… This will be the last one… I'm the creator anyway."
Sai was confused about what does it mean by 'this will be the last' "What do you mean last-" Sai was cut off by the sudden movement of the carriage.
"System: No time for chit chat. Pick your reward Sai Ashenford; 'Can tame magical beasts' or 'Dark Magic'
The choice is obvious. "I will pick this one." Sai has picked his reward.
"System: Reward granted! Now help Asher Timberlake!
