"Cousin?!" Sai's eyes widened; he didn't expect that answer at all.
"Yes, your highness. You heard me right. Now please stop asking questions-" Yet again Asher got interrupted again with a question.
"But then you do not share the same last name?" Sai asks the most idiotic question.
Asher looks at him in disbelief. Does he really not know the reason? "Your highness… Of course, the duke's sister is my mother, and my mother married another man so what do you expect to happen?"
Sai realises that his question is dumb. "Oh… right I am sorry…" Sai felt embarrassed.
"I guess because you are inside a child's body you can't help but think as a child sometimes." Asher said in a teasing voice.
All Sai could do was glare at him. Asher then chuckles. "I'm sorry your highness if I offended you I won't do it again." Asher said he can't help but chuckle since Sai is finally acting his age. He was sulking and pouting.

They are still departing and both of them have stayed silent since earlier. Sai was still sulking and didn't want to talk to Asher. While Asher is amused that Sai could still act as a kid even though originally, he is older than his age.
"Are you gonna sulk until we reach the north, your highness?" Asher said with the intention to tease him again.
"I am not sulking." Sai as he is still looking through the window of the carriage.
"Hmm? Then it must be my imagination then?" Asher starts teasing him again.
"Just because you are my master doesn't mean you can tease freely all you want!" Sai was clearly annoyed by now.
"My bad, your highness. It was just nice seeing that you can still have a childish part of you-" Asher was cut off from his word but this time it is not because of Sai. It is because the carriage suddenly shakes, and the knights suddenly surround the carriage.
One of the knights suddenly looks inside the carriage to inform both of them what is happening. "Sir, we have been ambushed by some bandits."
"Is that so? Can you guys handle it by yourself, or do you need my help?" Asher asked the knight.
"There are a lot of them, but we can manage but they have magical beasts with them which is weird and that is why we need your assistance Sir." The knight explains while the fight is still ongoing outside.
"Alright I'll handle it. Please protect the crown prince while I clear things up outside." The knight nods to the order that Asher made. Asher was about to exit the carriage, but Sai stopped him.
"Will you be alright master? If you need my help I can-" Asher cuts him off and smiles at him.
"Your highness you may be matured but you are still a child. You have a small body, and you can't handle them yet… Do not worry I will be alright. The only way you can help me is to behave inside the carriage, okay?" Before Sai could say anything else Asher already went out of the carriage.
