Chapter 73 - CHAPTER SEVENTY-TWO

"Until now, haven't you caught those damn women yet?" Giovane, unable to conceal his anger, snarled at his companion.

"Damn this! Find them! I don't believe they escaped easily! Search thoroughly! Or else, I will kill you!" He immediately pulled out the gun and aimed it at his henchmen.

"Y--- Yes, boss." His voice trembled as he answered and quickly left.

He even saw Giovane smash whatever he could get his hands on.

"How can I help?" He asked, letting out a sigh at the commotion happening now.

In his mind, he would take steps to save other women, but he didn't expect this opportunity. Charles was no longer surprised that Alexander and Isabel were here.

Felix was right; damn, he really doesn't miss. Charles could only say it in his mind.

"We are so close to discovering the truth!" I know that group has something to do with it now!" The irritation in his voice still hadn't faded because of what was happening.

Charles wondered who gave them the key to their cell as he watched the CCTV footage of their escape.

Who helped them? Maybe this is just a trap to find out who is involved in our group. I need to be careful with every step I take. Charles fell into deep thought.

He heard a sigh, calmed down, and looked at Charles; the strange look he received indicated that his defense mechanism was kicking in, prompting him to prepare his gun in case of an emergency.

"Charles, help our companion first, Gods! They're reckless; they can't find those women." Giovane just shook his head.

"I'm on it," was his only reply as he got ready.

"Charles, you need to be more careful of your actions."

He just turned away, as if his mind was saying that something terrible would happen, as if Giovane was warning him indirectly.

"Yeah." That's all he said.

He has already taken his things. His skin is tingling. He feels a sense of imminent treachery.

"I will go now; I will go hunting first." He said his goodbye and looked at Charles.

"Yeah." He nodded.

He immediately headed for the door, opened it, and left quietly.

As he walked, he couldn't help but smile, for deep down, Giovane already knew his entire being. Giovane is playing with fire, the fire of death, until he falls into Giovane's trap.

You don't have to play dirty games with me anymore, Giovane; I'll get involved. He smirked as he headed towards the warehouse exit.

He brought his mask, which was hidden in the gun bag compartment; he could use it.

He knew someone was watching him; ever since he entered the warehouse, he wasn't surprised anymore. He knows who followed him, none other than Alexander's own men; one of his associates is the one betraying them.

He only smirks, thinking it was Alexander, but he knows that at any moment, Alexander's life will bite him.

He will kill anyone who disrupts his and his companions' plans before he succumbs to the bite.

He readied his gun, immediately shot the one watching him, and the quiet forest echoed.

He immediately approached the man who was gasping for breath.

He hit him in his vital point. He was correct; the man was a fellow member of the organization.

He could only shake his head.

"You will not succeed," he said calmly.

After saying that, he shot it again.

"Please tell Alexander I will play his games of death. If you're listening to me now, Alexander, come and get me with your hands." The third shot cut off his breath immediately.

He was moving further away, still hearing the noise of Giovane's men searching. He took the path he knew because someone was waiting for him.

The members of their movement do not know about his basement; only a few are aware of it.

He put on his mask and walked quietly. He pinpointed the location he was referring to.

He immediately saw his basement, and even though only his eyes were visible on the scanner, the gate opened right away.

He saw Felix sitting with the women who had escaped.

"Hey," he just smiled at him.

He just sighed. Felix was also wearing a mask back then.

"Can you explain what's happening now, Alpha?" he asked the person he was talking to.

He stood up.

"Don't be angry; my cousin Fernan brought them here; anytime, they will go to beta." Felix calmly explained it to him.

He just sighed.

"Do as you wish."

"I smell blood on your hands; did you kill someone?" Felix asked.

"Are you referring to the smell of the blood traitor? Yes, I killed him." His admission.

Felix didn't say anything.

They went straight to his basement; his basement was bigger than those of William and Vince.

He welcomed the guests. It quietly followed him.

He led the guests to the underground basement, where there were many rooms that could accommodate the people they had rescued.

"Don't worry, we won't hurt you; you'll meet your other companions," he said.

They nodded, even though they were terrified, their bodies weary.

"This will be your shelter." Felix said.

After he delivered, he immediately returned to the ground where his other companions were waiting.

Felix was also waiting quietly, having removed his mask.
