G8 Marine Base.
"What... what is that?"
"A flying ship? Since when can ships fly?!"
"Quick! Report to the commander—there's an unidentified flying object overhead!"
Inside the G8 Marine Base, a crowd of Marines stared skyward in utter disbelief. Hovering above them was the Ark Maxim—an airborne vessel beyond anything they'd ever imagined.
"A flying ship, huh? That's a first for me too."
"There really are all kinds of bizarre things in this world."
"Right, Jessica?"
Base Commander Jonathan stood on the balcony, equally stunned by the sight in the sky.
"You've got a major problem on your hands," said Jessica, the base's head chef, dressed in her usual apron and chef's uniform. She passed him the binoculars, her face pale.
Jonathan gave her a puzzled look as he took the binoculars. "What is it? What did you see?"
Jessica steadied herself and said gravely, "The man on that ship… that's the Godslayer—Sora. The one who killed a Celestial Dragon."
"He's probably targeting the Celestial Tribute fleet."
"You'd better get those four World Government ships into the G8 fortress right now."
Jonathan's pupils shrank at her words. He quickly grabbed the Den Den Mushi on his desk.
What he thought was a big catch... turned out to be a damn sea dragon.
—
Onboard the Celestial Tribute ships.
"What the hell is that? A flying ship?!"
"It's blocking our path. Should we reroute?"
The government staff aboard the tribute ships were in shock as the Ark Maxim suddenly hovered in front of them.
"Reroute?"
"You're a representative of the World Government. And you dare say something that cowardly?"
Seven CP0 agents in white suits and featureless masks stepped out from one of the cabins. Without hesitation, one of them backhanded the man who spoke, sending him flying.
The squad leader, wearing a sun-themed mask, looked up at the floating ship and sneered.
"This kind of thing… you don't avoid it—you take it."
If they could seize a flying vessel like that, it would be a massive victory. A strategic asset like that was invaluable to any faction—and surely the Five Elders would reward them handsomely.
Without another word, several CP0 members launched themselves skyward using Moonwalk, charging straight toward the Ark Maxim.
Godslayer Sora!
The moment they saw him standing atop the ship, their expressions twisted in horror.
Without hesitation, they turned around and bolted back to the ships.
Every CP0 member had been briefed on Sora. If standard agents encountered him, they were to flee immediately and report the sighting. Only an admiral or elite CP0 could even attempt to fight him.
They knew full well—Sora could annihilate regular CP0 units without breaking a sweat.
Back aboard the ships, the CP0 squad leader barked out orders:
"Signal all ships—get inside the G8 fortress immediately!"
"Ready all cannons! Blow that flying ship out of the sky!"
The staff were dumbfounded. To see CP0, normally untouchable, so visibly shaken...
When no one moved, the CP0 leader exploded with fury.
"MOVE!!"
"Y-yes, sir!"
—
Aboard the Ark Maxim.
Sora blinked, dumbfounded, watching the CP0 agents flee like terrified dogs.
He hadn't fought in a while, and he was just getting fired up to test himself against them.
But… seriously?
That's it?
This was supposed to be the most elite intel and enforcement unit in the world? The personal shield of the Celestial Dragons?
Sora almost wanted to shout down at them:
"I'm not that scary. You could totally take me if you tried!"
Beside him, Robin stared in stunned silence, her jaw slightly slack.
She'd clearly felt how confident and aggressive the CP0 agents were when they charged in—only to see them retreat in absolute panic seconds later.
Having been a fugitive of the World Government for so long, she knew exactly how dangerous CP units were. Even CP9 was more than she could handle.
But now, CP0—those elite, untouchable agents—had turned tail and ran at the sight of Sora.
Ran.
Robin's understanding of Sora's power shifted yet again. Her respect—and attraction—deepened.
With Sora's protection, maybe… she'd never have to fear the World Government again.
『Ding! Nico Robin's Favorability has increased...』
Sora turned to see Robin staring at him, her expression unreadable.
"What is it? Falling for me?"
He pulled her into his arms with a grin.
"…A little," she murmured, her cheeks flushed.
The moment Sora released his aura and made CP0 flee, something in her heart stirred.
Sora laughed and planted a firm kiss on her pretty face.
"Then I'll bring you their heads as a gift."
He turned to Reiju, Shalria, and Anna. "Let's go. Time to get to work."
Only those three had the combat suits that allowed for flight, so Sora planned to take them alone.
"You three handle two ships. I'll take the other two."
"Let's see who finishes first."
With that, he leapt from the railing and dove toward his targets.
Reiju led Shalria and Anna toward the other two ships, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.
Ten Thousand Thunderbolts!
Landing on one of the ships, Sora's body crackled with lightning. Thunder serpents arced out in all directions, dropping World Government agents instantly.
"So strong…" Nami whispered from the deck of the Ark Maxim, her eyes filled with admiration.
Vivi, Kaya, Makino, Mikita—all of them were stunned, watching Sora unleash bolts of lightning and flatten an entire crew in seconds.
Meanwhile, aboard another ship…
The CP0 agents froze at the sight of Shalria—dressed in a maid outfit, baring her back, with a spiked club resting on her shoulder.
"A-Ah! Lady Shalria! We'll escort you back immediately!"
Shalria's eyes were ice cold.
She didn't say a word.
She just raised the club and charged.
Now, the only thing she wanted… was to stay by Sora's side forever—even if it meant being his pet.
