"You're really giving this Devil Fruit to me?"
Nami looked at Sora in shock, her eyes locked on the Rumble-Rumble Fruit in his hand.
Even though she and Nojiko had been pushed to their limits by Sora's swordsmanship training lately, she was still just a newcomer. And now—receiving a Logia-type Devil Fruit right off the bat?
Even a gold-obsessed girl like Nami was left speechless.
"Nami, if Sora's handing it to you, then of course he means it," Nojiko said with a teasing smile. "Hurry up and take it."
Seeing it was a Logia Fruit, Nojiko was genuinely happy for her.
Sitting comfortably in a chair, Sora peeled open the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, sliced off a small piece, and offered it to her with a smile.
"Come on. Eat it."
Nojiko tugged Nami toward him until she knelt at his feet. Her cheeks burned red as she took the fruit from his hand and ate it.
Bleeghhh!
"It's awful…"
Nami clutched her mouth, struggling to keep it down.
"All Devil Fruits taste horrible," Nojiko said beside her. "If you want power, this is the price."
Sora chuckled at her reaction and sliced off another piece.
Nami hesitated as he handed it over again. She shut her eyes and accepted it, only to gag once more.
Still, she forced herself to swallow.
It was a Logia-type Devil Fruit… worth 3 billion Berries.
That thought echoed through her mind. This thing was worth 3 billion Berries!
Driven by that number, she clenched her jaw and took another bite from Sora's hand.
Again and again, she reminded herself of its worth as she endured the taste, the gagging, and the humiliation—all while being hand-fed by Sora.
『Ding! Nami's Favorability has reached 100. She will now be eternally loyal to you. Experience feedback doubled.』
Sora smiled as the system prompt appeared before him.
Sure enough, feeding someone a Devil Fruit personally was the perfect method to push favorability through the final stretch. From 90 to 100—just like that.
After all this time experimenting, Sora had a rough grasp of the favorability thresholds:
Below 0 – hatred.
0–30 – neutral.
30–50 – friendly.
50–80 – fondness.
80–100 – submission.
With the right approach for each stage, progress came quickly. Do it wrong, and it crawled.
Of course, this was all still theory. More testing would be needed to confirm it.
Watching Nami finally choke down the last bite, Sora smiled softly.
"Time to change up the flavor."
Both Nami and Nojiko blushed furiously.
...
A week later.
On the deck of the Ark Maxim.
"Is everyone ready?"
Sora stood tall on the deck, gazing at Reiju, Nami, Robin, and the others.
"All ready," the women replied in unison.
"Then let's go!"
With that, the Ark Maxim lifted off and soared toward the edge of Skypiea.
They had spent nearly a month on the Sky Island. It was time to return to the Blue Sea.
Over the past few weeks, Anna, Shalria, Nojiko, and the others had seen rapid growth under Reiju's intense training. Everyone had advanced by leaps and bounds, and the system's feedback to Sora more than doubled.
Reiju, under Sora's guidance, learned the basics of Observation Haki. Robin picked up beginner-level Armament Haki.
"Lord Sora, come visit us again!"
Conis stood below, waving desperately as the Ark ascended.
Around her were Shandians and Skypieans alike, all there to see Sora and his crew off.
Sora hadn't just taken down the tyrant Enel—he had transformed their lives. Their gratitude was sincere.
As his eyes passed over the crowd, he suddenly froze.
He'd forgotten Conis.
If he needed more crew members to upgrade the Pirate Crew system, then… he might as well bring her along.
With a flick of his wrist, a limb made of flower petals shot out from the Ark and yanked the stunned Conis into the air.
It was Robin's Flower-Flower Fruit power. Incredibly handy.
"You're coming with me now."
Lifting her chin gently, Sora said it without giving her a choice.
"O-Okay," Conis answered, her face flushed with understanding. She knew exactly what that meant.
Down below, Gan Fall exhaled in relief. With Laki from the Shandians following Sora, it made perfect sense for someone from Angel Island to go as well. Balance was preserved.
"This is the first time I've ever gotten a send-off like this…" Mikita (Miss Valentine) leaned on the railing, watching the people below in a daze.
Miss Doublefinger and Miss Goldenweek nodded in agreement.
"Sora really doesn't act like a pirate," Kaya said with a gentle laugh.
"Don't be fooled," Vivi said with a small scowl, glancing at Conis now nestled in Sora's arms. "He's a pro at stealing women."
Kaya, Makino, Nojiko, and the others just giggled.
One trip to Skypiea, and he walked away with four more women. "Womanizer" didn't even begin to cover it.
Then Vivi turned to Nami. "How's your Devil Fruit training going?"
"Still getting the hang of turning into lightning," Nami answered, leaning on the rail and staring down at the cloud sea.
Robin added calmly, "You should know—strong fighters often use Armament Haki to strike Logia users like you. Don't rely too much on your elementization."
"Got it," Nami nodded.
With the cheers and well-wishes behind them, the Ark Maxim reached the edge of the Sky Island—and began its descent.
...
Nighttime.
Blue Sea – Marine G8 Base.
"The tribute fleet carrying the Celestial Gold is approaching. All departments prepare for arrival!"
"Everyone—move!"
The loudspeakers blared through the G8 Base.
Escorted by CP0 and government officials, the World Government's tribute fleet was about to dock for resupply. G8 Base was responsible for their security while in port.
But just as the fleet approached…
A flying ship descended from the sky—hovering directly between the fleet and G8 Base.
Standing on the deck of the Ark Maxim, Sora looked down at the treasure-laden ships and smirked.
"Do enough good deeds, and the heavens repay you."
"This luck… is insane."
