"You look nervous, is there a problem?" He placed her down on the bed as he went over to the closet and picked up a nightdress for her before returning and assisted her to change into it, since it was bedtime and she needed to have enough bed rest, as this was their doctor's instructions.
"I'm just worried and wondering if those clients are honest when they are calling them at this hour of the night. I only hope they aren't some dupes planning to scam them!" Could she tell him what was going on? No, he was already exhausted from all the flights and work he had been doing outside the country, and he needed to rest. How could she let him get worried?
"Don't worry about them, they are handling the company matters better than I expected. I actually don't have anything to worry about apart from handling international projects and tough investors, you should believe in them, you brought them up better than I could... She lay down on the bed as she instructed him on what to do while dragging this cover over to her chest. The back of her head leaned on the pillow while her eyes gazed at the white ceiling.
"Since when did you start using incense sticks? Did the doctor give you something while I was away? You do know it ain't a long-term solution and it's addictive, let's go over to the hospital tomorrow morning to get you checked up and see what the problem is." He also lay down in bed, dragging her into his arms. He never liked incense sticks as it was easier to get addicted to, she was also pregnant, he didn't want anything to affect her health or the baby's.
