CHAPTER 14 - Daniela, the Third Chosen
Daniela Ranmo was a 16-year-old girl living in an ordinary village with an ordinary life. Nothing set her apart from others, not even her natural beauty, as in her world, most people were beautiful.
She was just another person in that world. She wasn't poor, but she wasn't rich either. Her middle-class family had everything needed to live comfortably. She wasn't depressed or in pain, but she wasn't happy either. She was simply alive, and that bored her. She lived just to live, without feeling any excitement. She had no dreams, no goals, no passions. She followed the routine of going to school, doing homework, eating, sleeping, and repeating. She wanted something more, something to give meaning to her existence. What she didn't know was that her wish would soon come true in the most unexpected way.
•
•
Some time ago.
Daniela walked down the street with a school acquaintance who wasn't really a friend. She had no true friends, nor anyone she liked. Daniela was attracted to women, but she hid this out of fear of rejection. So, she pretended to be "normal," like everyone else. She got along with her classmates but had no deep connection with any of them. She laughed at their jokes but didn't find them funny. She showed interest in their lives but didn't truly care. It was a mask she wore to fit in, one that didn't reflect her true self.
"Another boring day at school," Daniela sighed as she walked along the sidewalk.
"Hey, want to go for a walk with me?" the boy suggested with a nervous smile. He was one of the most popular kids in class, considered handsome by many—and in a world where most people were beautiful, being deemed handsome was extraordinary. He had blond hair, blue eyes, and a perfect smile. But Daniela felt no attraction to him whatsoever.
She knew he was interested in her, but she felt nothing for him. So, she politely declined.
"I can't, thanks. I have some things to do at home," Daniela lied, forcing a smile.
"Okay. Take care. Bye," the boy said, disappointed. It was clear he'd hoped for a different response—perhaps an invitation to hang out or a sign of affection. But Daniela couldn't give him that.
She was relieved he didn't press further. She didn't want to hurt his feelings, but she also didn't want to give him false hope. She didn't want to date him or any other boy. She wasn't into boys; she liked girls. But that was a secret she guarded with all her heart. In her world, homosexuality was frowned upon and could cause trouble. So, she chose to hide her orientation and live a solitary life.
The boy waved goodbye and turned the corner. Daniela watched him go, feeling a void in her chest—not for him, but for herself. For not being able to be who she was, for not being able to love who she wanted, for not being able to be happy.
"A walk? How boring," Daniela thought as she continued on her way. She didn't feel like going anywhere or doing anything. She just wanted to get home and lock herself in her room.
•
•
Minutes later.
Daniela arrived at her house and opened the door with her key. It was a modest but cozy home with two floors, three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a dining room. It was where Daniela had grown up, living with her mother and younger brother. Her father had died when she was 10 in a traffic accident. Since then, her mother had taken care of the family, working as a nurse at the village hospital. Her 12-year-old brother was a cheerful, mischievous boy who kept Daniela company when he was home. But now, he was out playing soccer with his friends.
"I'm home," Daniela said as she entered.
She closed the door and found her mother in the living room, sitting on the couch reading a magazine. She was about 40 but looked younger, with brown hair, green eyes, and a slender figure, much like Daniela. She was a beautiful, kind woman who loved her children dearly and did everything to give them a good life. But she was also conservative and didn't accept homosexuality. Daniela knew this and had never shared her secret with her.
"Hi, honey," her mother said with a smile. It was a genuine but tired smile. Her mother worked hard, and the stress sometimes showed.
"Hi, Mom," Daniela replied without enthusiasm. It wasn't that she didn't love her mother, but she didn't feel a strong connection with her. There were too many things she couldn't share, and that created distance between them.
She dropped her backpack on the floor and used her psychic powers to serve herself food on a plate. In her world, everyone had psychic abilities of varying types and strengths. Daniela had telekinesis, allowing her to move objects with her mind. It was a common, not very powerful ability. She could lift small, light objects but nothing more. It wasn't particularly useful, but it made some tasks easier. She had two other abilities, but telekinesis was the one she used best.
She sat at the table and began eating. It was a simple but nutritious meal: a plate of rice with chicken and vegetables and a glass of water.
"How was school?" her mother asked, trying to start a conversation. It was a routine question she always asked when Daniela came home.
"Boring, as usual," Daniela answered listlessly. She didn't like school or the subjects she studied. They seemed dull and useless to her. She had no interest in history, geography, math, science, languages, or art. Nothing interested her.
Her mother sighed. She knew her daughter wasn't happy but didn't know how to help. She thought it was a normal phase of adolescence that would pass. But it wasn't. Daniela had felt this way for years and saw no way out.
"I have to go out to pick up some things. I won't be long," her mother said, standing up. She needed to go to the supermarket for some household items, a weekly routine task.
"Okay, Mom," Daniela said without looking at her. She didn't care if her mother left or returned. She preferred being alone than with someone who didn't understand her.
Her mother left the house and closed the door. Daniela remained alone with her empty plate. She had eaten quickly, without savoring the food. She wasn't hungry or in the mood for anything; she ate just to eat.
"I wish I could do something fun. I'm dying of boredom," Daniela complained aloud. It was a frequent complaint, but no one heard it—not even herself.
But this time, her complaint would find a solution.
"Oh, are you bored?!"
Suddenly, she heard a mysterious voice. It was a deep, masculine voice that echoed throughout the house.
Daniela jumped, looking around in fear, searching for the source of the voice. There was no one else in the house. Was it a prank by a neighbor? Or was she hallucinating? She wondered, trying to stay composed.
It was possible someone was using a psychic ability to speak into her mind, but the voice echoed through the house, making it unlikely to be a psychic power.
"Want to have an adventure?!" the voice said again, clearer and louder than before.
Daniela shivered. The voice sounded like that of an older man, but she didn't recognize it.
"Yes, I want an adventure," she replied sincerely without realizing it.
She spoke unintentionally, and when she realized it, she paled, fear overtaking her as she began to tremble.
"Who said that?!" Daniela asked, scared yet curious.
She stood from her chair, on guard, expecting someone to emerge from hiding. But what she saw left her speechless.
"Don't be afraid, I'm God!" The voice materialized into an old man who appeared before her as if by magic. Well, it was magic.
Daniela's jaw dropped. The man had a long white beard, a white robe, and a halo above his head—the classic image of God from movies and books. But how could God be in her house? And why was he talking to her? Questions flooded her mind, but only one word escaped her lips.
"God?!" Daniela said, incredulous. She wasn't sure whether to believe what she saw or think she was dreaming.
"Yes, it's me, and I need your help with something," the old man said in a kind, calm voice.
"Help you?" Daniela asked, confused. What could she do for God? Wasn't he the one who could do anything?
"You have a pure heart, perfect for a task I want you to undertake," the old man said, looking at her with pride and affection.
"Pure heart? Task? I-I don't understand anything," Daniela said, dazed. She didn't consider herself special—just an ordinary girl who went to school, did her homework, and watched TV.
"In World 1, something terrible is happening," the old man said, his expression turning serious and concerned.
"World 1? Uwaaaah! Explain better, I don't understand!" Daniela shouted, impatient. What was World 1? Were there other worlds besides hers? The questions only multiplied.
"It's an alternate world. There are 63 existing worlds," the old man said patiently.
"I don't understand anything!" Daniela said, frustrated. This was too much for her mind. How could there be 63 worlds? What were the differences between them? And how did God know all this? That last question was a bit silly, considering God was, well, God.
"You're from World 3, the world of psychic powers. In World 1, something terrible will happen that will endanger all worlds," the old man said, trying to simplify things.
"A-all worlds?"
"That's why I need your help. You could save all the worlds, be a heroine… Please, help me," the old man said, his voice pleading.
Daniela paused to think. This was strange and unexpected but also tempting. It was a chance to do something different, something important. And it was God asking her. How could she refuse God? Wasn't it her duty to obey and help him? Wasn't this a sign she had a special destiny?
"Well… Okay, I'll help," Daniela said with determination. Despite her doubts and fears, she also felt great curiosity and excitement. She wanted to see this other world and, of course, live an adventure.
The old man patted her head with a smile.
"You made the right choice. You won't regret it, I promise."
Everything around her began to spin, and they vanished from the house.
She tightly closed her eyes as everything spun so much that she felt dizzy and wanted to vomit the food she'd just eaten.
"We're here."
When Daniela opened her eyes again, she found herself suddenly in a forest.
"Huh?!" she shouted, startled. She didn't recognize the place. It was a lush forest with tall green trees, colorful flowers, and animals she'd never seen. The air was fresh and pure, and birdsong filled the air.
"Welcome to World 1, the world of magic and adventurers," the old man said, still by her side.
"Magic and adventurers?" Daniela asked, curious. Those words sounded familiar, like those in her favorite novels.
"Yes, in your world, people have psychic powers. In this world, people have magic."
"Incredible! Like in stories and novels?!" Daniela said, excited. She couldn't believe she was in a world where magic existed. What kind of magic would there be? What could she do with it?
"Yes, exactly… This world is in danger because demons have appeared. These demons have incredible magical powers, and according to my calculations, in three or four years, a demon so powerful will emerge that it will destroy this world. If this world vanishes, the others will too," he said seriously.
"Demons? D-destroy the world?" Daniela said, frightened. She didn't like the sound of that. What kind of monsters were these demons? How could she face them? And how could she stop them from destroying the world?
"You must learn as many spells as you can, kill as many demons as possible, and defeat the demon that will destroy the world. Here."
He handed her a black bracelet with a small red heart and a white ring that appeared out of nowhere before her.
"The bracelet will allow you to use all types of magic."
Without wasting time and quite excited, Daniela took the bracelet and put it on her right wrist.
"It's pretty," Daniela said, admiring the bracelet. It was a simple but elegant piece of jewelry. The red heart glowed with a warm light.
"Fufu. Good, because you won't be able to take it off."
"… Huh?"
She tried to remove the bracelet, but it wouldn't budge, as if it were glued to her skin.
"Why?" Daniela asked, annoyed. She didn't like having something she couldn't remove.
"It's dangerous if it gets stolen. Put on the ring."
Daniela decided not to make a big deal out of it, mainly because she didn't want to argue with a being who could transport her to another world in an instant.
She took the ring and slipped it onto her right index finger.
"This is a magic ring. It enhances your psychic powers."
"Enhances my psychic powers?"
God made a large log appear out of nowhere with a wave of his hand. It was a massive piece of wood, as thick as Daniela's body and three times her length.
"Try to move it," he said with an enigmatic smile.
"With my psychic powers, I can only move small objects, but I'll try," Daniela replied doubtfully.
She had three special abilities: telepathy, prophecy, and telekinesis. But none were very powerful, and she could only use them for a limited time, except for telekinesis.
She focused on the log and tried to lift it with her mind. At first, nothing happened. But then, she felt a strange force flowing through her body, from the ring to her brain. It was as if the ring gave her more energy and power to her abilities.
"Huh?!" she shouted, surprised.
The log rose a few meters into the air effortlessly. Daniela couldn't believe her eyes. She had moved such a heavy object just by thinking about it.
"D-did I do it…? I did it!" Daniela shouted, raising both arms in joy.
She felt proud of herself and her new ring.
God approached her and placed his palm on her right chest. Though he had no malicious intent, Daniela was shocked, unsure how to react to such an embarrassing situation.
"Huh?"
Why was he touching her chest? Daniela blushed and stepped back, embarrassed and angry.
She wanted to hit him but didn't dare raise her fist, fearing divine punishment.
"W-w-what are you doing, you old pervert?!" Daniela shouted, indignant. How dare he touch her like that without permission? What kind of God was he?
"Don't get upset. I'm just giving you another power."
"W-well, you could've at least warned me you were going to do that!"
"Now you have the power to revive, but you can only revive twice. So be careful, don't waste your lives."
Daniela's jaw dropped. The power to revive? What did that mean? Could she die and come back to life, like a cat?
Then, God touched her forehead with his index finger. Daniela felt a tingle in her head, as if something were being injected.
"Ow, that felt weird."
"Now you have a great memory, perfect for learning thousands of spells. In this world, magic is based on words. The more words you know, the more spells you can use. And with your memory, you'll remember them all."
Daniela touched her forehead, confused. A great memory? Spells? Words? She didn't understand what he was saying. What did memory have to do with magic? It was obvious, but Daniela wasn't exactly a genius, especially now, with so much happening that she barely had time to process what she heard.
God stepped back, preparing to leave.
"Well, I must go. I have other matters to attend to. I hope you enjoy your new life."
"Wait, what do I do now?!" Daniela said, confused.
She didn't know what to do or where to go. She was alone in an unfamiliar world with no one to help her.
"Figure it out on your own. You just need to learn to use and control spells. And don't worry, you'll soon find friends and allies. This world is full of interesting and dangerous people. Learn to tell them apart."
God vanished, leaving Daniela alone.
"Well, I wanted an adventure… I didn't say goodbye to my mom, but this is important," Daniela thought, trying to cheer herself up.
She had accepted God's proposal to go to another world because she was bored with her normal life. She wanted something exciting and different, and now she had it.
She began walking aimlessly. She didn't know where she was or how to return to her world. She only knew she had to learn to use magic and survive.
"I really didn't understand anything he said… Why did I agree so easily?!" Daniela reproached herself, regretting her choice. Maybe it was a bad decision. Maybe it was a trap. Maybe God wasn't as good as he seemed.
She kept walking. The place was quiet, with only the sound of the wind through the trees and birds singing. She was surrounded by a lush green forest with colorful flowers and strange fruits.
"Although… It's true, a few days ago I dreamed of the words 'God,' 'magic,' and 'adventure,'" Daniela recalled.
Before God appeared to her, she had vivid dreams where she heard those words. Was it a sign? A prophecy? Of course it was.
Her psychic powers were three:
Telepathy: She could communicate telepathically with someone, though she could only speak, not hear their thoughts. It was useful for secret communication or deceiving enemies.
Prophecy: She could predict the future through words that appeared in her dreams. It was a mysterious and dangerous ability that showed her things that could or must happen. Sometimes it helped her avoid danger; other times, it caused problems.
Telekinesis: She could move objects with her mind. It was a practical, versatile ability that let her manipulate her surroundings. She could lift, throw, break, or cut things just by thinking about it.
"Why did I agree?!"
Daniela lamented. She felt guilty and scared. She had left her family and world behind. For what? For powers she didn't know how to use and that might bring more trouble than benefits? At least from her perspective, that's what she thought, ignoring the issue with the demons and the potential end of all worlds.
She emerged from the forest and saw a large village. It was a medieval-style settlement with stone and wooden houses, dirt streets, and people dressed in simple, dirty clothes. There was a market, a church, an inn, and a guild—a typical fantasy novel setting.
"I guess there's no turning back."
Daniela resigned herself. She couldn't regret her decision now. She had to adapt to this world and find a way to be happy. Maybe she'd find something she liked or, even better, the excitement she craved.
•
•
She reached the village and saw many strange people. They wore metal or leather armor, carrying swords, axes, bows, spears, or daggers. Some had scars, tattoos, piercings, or jewelry. Others had pointed ears, tails, wings, or horns. She assumed they were adventurers who explored the world, fought monsters, and sought treasures.
It was very different from her world. This place smelled odd—of sweat, blood, smoke, herbs, spices, and animals. It was a strong, pungent odor that made her wrinkle her nose. She wasn't used to such a dirty, rough environment.
She kept walking, trying to blend in. She didn't want to draw attention or get into trouble. She didn't know this world's customs or how people behaved—whether they were friendly or hostile, whether they'd help or attack her.
"Where do I start? What should I do? Hmm…"
She had arrived in a strange world full of magic and adventure but knew nothing about it.
She looked at her ring.
"Does it only enhance my psychic powers?"
She touched it, and a woman's voice spoke in her mind.
"Arches Nexus" allows you to fly. "Muslar asio" grants great physical strength, endurance, and incredible agility. And finally, "Espada Dix" summons a sword that uses wind as a blade, highly effective for dealing damage.
The voice stopped, leaving Daniela both frightened and excited. Yes, a mysterious voice had spoken, but it had given her valuable information.
"Were those… spells?"
She hadn't expected her ring to teach her spells.
Was it a special function of the ring? She didn't know, but she was eager to try them.
"I'll try… I guess I just need to say those words."
She took a deep breath and exhaled.
"Here goes… Espada Dix!"
A sword made of wind appeared in her hands. It was a transparent blade that made a whistling sound as it cut through the air. Daniela looked at it in awe. It was the first time she'd seen anything like it—or rather, the first time she'd held a weapon.
"Incredible!"
She felt thrilled. She wanted to try the other spells. But first, she thought it would be better to find someone to teach her more about this world's magic. Maybe at the adventurers' guild, where she'd seen many people with weapons and armor enter. She wasn't sure if it was the adventurers' guild, but it looked like it. To avoid trouble, she decided to ask for directions.
"I know, I just need to find people who know spells and ask them to teach me."
She spotted a girl and approached her. The girl had blonde hair and green eyes, wearing a white dress and a red cape. She carried a bow and quiver on her back, looking like an archer.
"Miss, do you know where I can find people who know spells?" Daniela asked politely.
The girl looked at her curiously, noticing her wind sword and ring. She found Daniela odd but didn't dwell on it, mainly because she was eager to celebrate with one of her boyfriends after a successful hunt.
A man was groping the archer's backside, but Daniela didn't notice, too focused on spells and her plans.
"People who know spells? I think you want the guild. It's that place over there."
She pointed to the building.
Daniela followed her finger and saw a stone building with a sign that read "Adventurers' Guild" in a strange language she didn't understand. It was the same place she'd noticed earlier.
"Are there people who know spells there?" Daniela asked to confirm.
"Well, yeah, all adventurers know spells. Some are mages, others are magical warriors, and some are magical archers, like me. There's a bit of everything."
"Thanks."
Her sword vanished. Daniela was surprised. She hadn't realized it could do that on its own.
"I guess they disappear when I don't need them anymore."
It seemed convenient. She wouldn't have to carry a sword around all the time.
She entered the guild. The place looked like a restaurant, except there were three women at desks, likely employees. There were also many tables and chairs where adventurers were eating, drinking, chatting, or reading. The atmosphere was lively and noisy.
"Are there people here who know how to use spells?"
She hoped so. She wanted to learn more about this world's magic.
She approached a girl who seemed to be an employee. She had brown hair and eyes, wearing a blue and white uniform, holding a quill and a book.
"Excuse me, are there people here who know how to use spells?"
"Of course, all the adventurers here know spells. Want to register?" the girl replied with a smile.
She seemed polite, but inwardly she was laughing, finding it amusing to answer such an obvious question so seriously, considering everyone could use magic and spells, even the weakest and most ignorant.
"I guess I need money to register, but I don't have any, thanks."
She had no money. She'd arrived in this world with nothing. Only now did she realize she was practically a vagabond, and she began screaming internally, cursing her stupidity for agreeing without preparing.
"No worries, you can pay for registration with work. Just complete a mission and give us a portion of the reward. Then you'll be an official adventurer and gain access to more benefits."
"Oh, I see, I see. How convenient!"
Daniela grew interested. She figured registering would help her find people who knew spells. Maybe she could make friends and allies. Plus, she needed money to survive in this world.
But after reflecting on the idea of friends and allies, it seemed boring, so she decided to just earn enough money to pay someone to teach her, rather than waste time socializing.
She smiled at the girl.
"Sure, I'll register."
"Please place your hand on the orb."
She pointed to a crystal orb on the desk. Daniela assumed it was some magical device to measure magical power or gather information, so she agreed without much hesitation.
"Okay."
She placed her right hand on the orb. A slight electric current ran through her body. It didn't hurt, but it tickled.
"Will it take long?"
"Just a minute."
"I see… Hmm… La, la, la…"
"You're new in town, right? Where are you from?"
"Well… Oh…"
Looking into the employee's eyes, Daniela realized how beautiful the girl was. But more than that, she realized she was free to be her true self—she no longer had to hide anything.
Her true personality with women.
"I'm from a small, isolated village, pretty ignorant. That's why I left, to learn more about the world. By the way, in my village, it's normal for people to love anyone, regardless of gender. Is it normal here for a woman to love another woman?"
"Of course. It's always been that way. Don't worry, it's normal."
"I see, I see… Do you study or work, cutie?" Daniela said, winking.
"I have a boyfriend."
"Ouch… At least I tried."
A minute passed.
A card appeared out of nowhere, and the employee took it. It was a metal card with Daniela's name and details engraved on it. The employee read it and gasped when she reached a certain part: the types of magic.
"D-Daniela Ranmo. A-age, 16. T-types of magic… a-a-a-all?!"
All the adventurers in the room shouted. It was well-known that a card never contained false information, and no one would dare doubt its authenticity. If an employee said that aloud, there was no question everyone would be shocked by such a surprise.
"Huh?!"
"But that's impossible!"
"What's going on?" Daniela asked, confused.
"What's going on is you have all types of magic! That's never been seen before!"
True and false. At that same moment, Daniel was also registering at an adventurers' guild, so it had been seen before—minutes earlier, but seen nonetheless.
"Huh? R-really? N-never?" Daniela stammered, regretting her decision. She'd drawn too much attention, and while that could have positive consequences, it could also have negative ones.
Once again, she regretted acting before thinking.
"Is that normal in your village?!"
"N-no. Oh, I think that's why they kicked me out of the village—they were afraid of me. Is it really not normal?!" Daniela lied to avoid raising more suspicions than she already had.
"E-every person can only use one or two types of magic, depending on their affinity, and in very rare cases, three. But you can use all of them! That's incredible!"
"Really? I guess that's good… right?"
"H-how did you do it?" the girl asked, intrigued.
"Daniela."
She immediately closed her eyes tightly and covered her face with her hands to hide her fright.
God's voice spoke in her head.
"You nearly gave me a heart attack!!" Daniela thought.
"You're forbidden from telling anyone what I told you. Make something up."
Daniela understood. It made sense that she couldn't say she came from another world and was chosen by God. It would surely cause problems if she did. So, she decided to lie. After all, she was an expert at lying and pretending—years of experience hadn't been in vain.
"Sorry, it's a secret."
"I-I understand," the girl said, afraid to pry further.
She didn't know Daniela, and considering her power, she feared angering her, as Daniela could kill her.
The other adventurers reached the same conclusion, so none dared ask anything and only glanced at her nervously.
"What kind of work will I do to pay?"
"C-choose a mission from the mission board… Cough, cough!"
She choked on her saliva and began coughing heavily while Daniela looked away, uncomfortable.
As she averted her gaze, she noticed the adventurers quickly looking away in fear when they realized she was watching them.
"Fear… I'm a freak, huh? That could be useful," she thought with a malicious smile.
"S-sorry about that. W-with your magical power, you can take any mission."
"I see…"
She nodded, not fully understanding. She looked at the mission board, a wall covered with papers. Each paper described a task, its reward, and difficulty level.
She couldn't read the writing, so she based her decision on the papers' appearance.
She'd pick one that caught her eye.
"Hmm… This one looks good."
It had a bright red seal, indicating danger and excitement, which seemed fun to her.
She took a paper and handed it to the employee, who flinched when she saw the mission Daniela chose.
"I'll do this mission."
"You want to kill orcs?!"
The employee was shocked. It was a high-risk mission that only the most experienced adventurers dared accept. Orcs were savage, ferocious beasts that attacked humans mercilessly. Men were killed and eaten, and women were eaten too—but in a different way.
"Is that what it's about?"
She asked innocently. She didn't know what orcs were, but facing them sounded fun. Still, she grew nervous. Though she had powerful magic, she didn't know how to use it yet. Could she do it?
She could revive thanks to God's power, but she didn't want to die and waste a life. And though her sword seemed powerful, she didn't know how to wield it. Her enhanced psychic powers were improved, but she didn't fully control them. Would it be enough?
But her nerves vanished as if by magic when she remembered the flight spell. If it worked as easily as the sword spell, she could escape the orcs by flying.
She had a good feeling. She had to try. It was a chance to test her abilities and live an adventure.
She knew perfectly well she was about to do something stupid, but she didn't care and decided to trust her instincts.
"Yes, I'll do it. Where do I find the orcs?"
"They're in Zeiss Village. It was overrun by orcs about three weeks ago. It's north of here, about two hours' walk."
"Zeiss Village?"
Suddenly, images appeared in her mind—images of a path surrounded by trees and mountains. It was a path her mind showed her, guiding her to the village.
A slight dizziness hit her, but she ignored it, surprised by an unexpected new ability.
"Is that… the path to Zeiss Village?"
She recalled the path instantly without effort, thanks to her enhanced memory.
She didn't need a map or compass. She just had to follow her intuition and the path her new ability revealed.
"Thanks. Bye."
She left the guild with a smile, excited for her first mission and, of course, for gaining a new power.
"Is this a new psychic ability? Awesome!"
She stopped and smiled even wider, remembering she could fly.
"That's right, I can fly there. Arches Nexus!"
She began to float, and as her feet left the ground, she felt a sense of freedom and happiness she hadn't felt in years.
A new purpose in life had entered her world, a goal to achieve.
Her life had found the light she'd longed for, filling her with joy and, of course, fun and adrenaline.
"Incredible! I think… I just need to think about how I want to fly."
She flew toward the village, controlling her speed and altitude with her will. It was like being a bird.
"I did it!"
The villagers watched her in awe. They couldn't believe their eyes—a girl flying through the sky with a joyful expression.
"That girl can fly!"
"Incredible!"
"Is she a demon?!"
Some admired her, others feared her, and some envied her. She paid them no attention. She kept flying with a big smile.
"This is awesome!"
She did a loop in the air and shouted at the top of her lungs: "Awesome!!!"
"I'm going to love this place!"
Her days of boredom were over. Now began her new life, filled with magic and adventure.
