Chapter 84 - Chapter 83: Draconic measure

3rd Pov

Within the vicinity of the barren land, in the middle of what seemed to be a plain filled with crater, as if hundreds of meteor had crackled the sky to paint the land.

Dagruel could be seen standing still, his body covered in regenerating wounds...his facial expression was hidden behind a veil of darkness.

It hurt his pride but the dragonoid he was facing...is simply too much to handle on his own.

Dagruel : (At this rate, I'm just a punching bag for her...)

A tint of fear set ablaze in his eyes, he couldn't think for too long as Milim Nava landed right in front of him the next instant.

Her fist clenched for another punch, space distoding on her path...those last few days hs been pure torture for the titan.

Dagruel : (I can't defeat her and the prospect of holding her here start to become crazy even for me...where is Guy in this situation ? What is happening around the rest of the world ?)

Confusion spreaded across his mind, doubt about the course of action he should take...yet he could only raise his two arms to block the wrath filled blow.

His arm shook as Milim's fist dented into his flesh...as spiritual beings, they had no notion of bones or clear anatomy.

Even the potential blood they would shred is fake or meaningless for their own health.

What truly mattered is their mental state and endurance, who despite being technically limitless, still felt the throwback of accumulating the loss of magicule.

Dagruel : (What about Grassord ? Did he die ? I can't feel his presence anymore but we are connected so he should eventually come back...)

Another important matter was the heaven's tower...he was charged to protect these sacred relics by Veldanava himself.

It was his pledge to follow a new path...ultimately leading to the creation of the Holy void of Damargania...

Milim definitely had the power to destroy it...at this rate, the gate toward the Heavenly star palace and heaven is going to be opened...

And also...the seal that contains Fenn, the last of the Mad Titan Ashura's remains who remained on the wicked path, unable to follow suit change for peace.

He will be released...

Dagruel : (Wait released...if I could get Fenn's power, I could bring back Glassord and win...)

The sudden realization almost snapped the last bit of rationality he had, but this thought was quickly shut down when the sky broke into pieces.

His eyes shot wide open, looking up as an army of angels descended invading the entirety of the world.

Dagruel : Wha-arght !

His astonishment was cut short as Milim sent him crashing into the horizon, her leg snapping the titan's neck.

The impact left another distortion in space before it was ripped apart, Milim's aura kept growing more deadly as the influence of her ultimate skill.

Clenching her fist hard, with eyes devoid of iris...Milim roared wrathfully, her cry alone piercing the sky killing the hundreds of angelic being sent toward the barren land.

Milim : Kill..kill destroy kill destroy kill kill kill...

A mix of groan and hateful growl, Milim's attention switched on the still coming angels...a part of herself still wanted to follow Dagruel to drag him down totally.

But her rationality was long gone, so she simply targeted the first thing on sight...

Milim : Destroy ! RAHHH !!!

The groundbreaking as she leaped into the air, a series of explosions followed as Milim's rampage made victims of everything on sight.

Back on the land, Dagruel slowly crumbled out of the ground...still feeling the sore pain from receiving an unguarded fist of the Destroyer.

A tired groan escaped his mouth, he loathed the situation...his eyes trailed toward the land he had developed with his own hand.

A pure dessert filled with chaos and destruction...not even the sky was spared, the peace once granted was now void.

A sheer memory of the past, but did that really matter to Dagruel ? Those past few millennia has managed to settle down his original nature.

He is, in the end, still a part of the Mad titan...the one who once sought destruction of the entire world, an evil that originates from the very said concept.

Dagruel : In this way the world decided to repay my good conduct, Veldanava ?

Feeling down, he chose the side of the mediator...he created and accommodated the best he could to strive in the same direction as the star king dragon.

Yet, he was beaten and thrown into the mud...his pride on the verge of shattering, his power leaking dangerously low.

The heaven's tower he guarded for so long had for this instant...lost all meaning, for Dagruel, there is only a single course of action left.

Dagruel : Then let's put it to the test, god creator...we'll see if your cherished world will live forth this calamity.

A radiant glow erupted from his eyes as he wandered off toward the empty air...the heaven's tower, even if it was named in such a way.

The structure itself isn't visible unless those holding the key allow it to be revealed...a tall relics that took the form of an infinite stair bonding heaven and earth.

Pristine white wall adorned it luxuriously...Dagruel had once merveiled at this sight, after all it was like a gift from the god creator.

Akin to a human being given the rarest tailored gem...but now, all he could wait was watching the tower crumble along the seal that contained his brother.

Dagruel : Let's do as we were meant to be, Fenn, Glassord.

The balance of the world shaking at the sudden destruction of the heaven's tower...the consequences were much less aggravating since the sky already shattered.

A broadening light emitted from the world itself, a cage made of dark chains was brought to light...a lone man standing at its center.

His jade-like spiky hair, his fierce features and his wicked nature...this is Fenn, the one who had never forsaken the nature of the mad titan.

Fenn : Haha...at last, you opened your eyes.

Addressing his « brother » with a cruel and cold tone, Fenn looked up with a crazy smile filled with malice.

With a simple stretch of his arm, the cage imprisoning him crumbled into dust...finally free, he admired the chaotic scenery that greeted him, as if congratulating his retrieval.

Dagruel : Fenn, let's do it...

Fenn : Mmh, hahaha ! All this peace talk for this, as expected I was right all along !

His hands reached for the sky, while his laugh could tore the spirit of any one sane...he embraced destruction and irregularity.

Several chains of light escaped his body, aimed toward Dagruel...who simply stood there watching, accepting his fate.

Upon connection, a blooming light exploded illuminating the barren land...with this, a giant with two heads and four arms emerged.

Fenn : How disgusting this incomplete form, where is Glassord ?

Dagruel : He has been slain, we need to retrieve his soul.

Fenn : How pathetic, what have you been fooling aren't for these past millennia ?

Turning around, the two chaotic heads of the mad titan scanned the dead land...countless souls were floating everywhere.

Giant, human or other race...they were the casualties that had yet to leave the cardinal world due to its path being closed.

Finding a single soul among this sea would take way too long, that's why Fenn immediately suggested the most radical solution.

Raising his arm, bombing his chest...he took a deep aspiration before in an instant, started absorbing all the souls nearby.

Eating them literally as they were forcibly sucked into the titan's stomach...he couldn't gain the soul's skill or power like a certain slime would.

But each life he erased allowed him to become stronger...until finally, the soul of their late brother was brought forth.

Fenn : Finally ! Let's become one once again, my dear traitious brothers !

Dagruel simply closed his eyes as he felt Glassord's soul being taken...their body once again engulfed under a bath of light.

A raging tornado made of dark followed as the completion of the mad titan Ashura was done...a third head sprouted from the side of the body.

Two more arms armed its back, a loud and shaking voice threatened the world's destruction...

Ashura : Now, the time to fulfil my promise has arrived.

All three heads directed their attention toward the sky...Milim Nava who was still fighting, an emerging shadow that waited behind the army of angel, Feldway.

And another powerful being who flew at high speed toward this battlefield...Rimuru Tempest.

This battle is by no means discartable...as four of the world's powers are now going to collide.

At the same time, in the Eastern empire...with a dazzling scorching body, Velgrynd crashed into the imperial palace like a meteor.

Right into the throne room where Michael was waiting, as dust settled down...both Velgrynd and Mirai stood there facing the Manas of Justice.

The blazing flames converged all toward Velgrynd, as she glared murderously toward the being that had possessed her beloved.

Now that her mind was clear, she could clearly see the difference between Michael and Rudra.

Velgrynd : So you are this piece of trash...

her golden eyes met with Michael's red pupils, a cold and indifferent expression that just fueled the scorch dragon's anger.

Mirai : Wait, this is weird...

But Mirai was quick to hold Velgrynd back, as she noticed the strange atmosphere surrounding the palace.

Mirai : (I can't feel the presence of any knight...Michael won't be kind enough to send everyone away upon our arrival, what is he planning ?)

Velgrynd : Why does it matter ? As long as I kill this bastard we'll win, right?

Blaze covered her arms, her steps literally melted the ground leaving a mark of her path.

Michael seeing her approach, he shrugged it off and grabbed the throne handle's tightly before getting up.

Michael : To think you would come to me yourself, getting your dragon factor will be easier than ever.

Velgrynd : Oh ? Hearing you use Rudra's voice just makes it worse.

Her finger crackled, the full might of True dragon's aura filled the room...in a way, Mirai was glad no normal humans were present because they would have been wiped out by now.

Mirai : (Dragon factor, so they are aiming for this plan...well it's fine, there is no way they get Velzard's factor now that she is on our side.)

Hiding behind the scorch dragon who had become the main focus, she planned to fully use this opportunity.

Grand fights based on fairness and pride are merely works of fiction, for Mirai, a quick victory is much more appreciated than a grand victory.

At least, a secured victory in such an environment is the best outcome since there is no need of showing off to gather faith.

Mirai : (He is distracted by Velgrynd...I'll finish him off in a single swipe.)

Her eyes glowing, she gripped her sword out of its sheath...her perception of time slowed, the step of the scorch dragon.

The slightest movement of the Manas, the conjunction of the air, the blinking light source...Mirai kept her sense sharp for the exact right moment.

Mirai : (Should I use that skill directly ? No, I have to keep it for the later stage.)

Her pupils shrunk the moment Velgrynd got close enough to fully hide Mirai's line of offense.

An opportunity often only arises once, if you are incapable of recognizing and taking it...it will simply disappear along the wind.

Mirai : (Now!)

Disappearing, she traveled across the throne room to get behind Michael in the split of an instant...her sword already charged with the power of fate.

A single strike will suffice to get Michael down...and the technique used will be...

Mirai : [Reverse Fate].

Her shadow towering over the Manas, not even Velgrynd had seen this coming judging by her bewildered expression.

Michael : ...

Mirai : Huh ?

But to Mirai's shock, Michael reacted to her attack...yet he didn't move, no instead he let himself be hit.

His head severed flying into the air before dropping near the entrance door, dozen of feets away.

Mirai : What ?

Velgrynd : You...killed him ? No, this feeling...

The way her sword sliced through flesh...it was clearly a material body but the power of fate directly affected one's existence.

Mirai knew something was wrong because she isn't foreign to the feeling of killing another living being.

Mirai : Was this...a [Parallel existence] ?!

Velgrynd : We were lured here ? (Dammit, how did he use my skill?!)

It wasn't an exclusive power of her own but she was still the only known user...

Mirai : (Did he run away ? No, he is still a maniac who believes his plan will succeed, he underestimates his opponent and is selfish. There must be a reason he isn't here personally.)

Her body tensed up shortly after, sensing the rise of multiple other presence all around the room.

Velgrynd did too, as she turned around raising her fan...the two women now back to back observed the strange situation unfold.

Emerging from behind the pillars and broken ceiling...people resurrected from the dead.

Velgrynd : Kondo ? Damrada...and those are the imperial guard...

The people who were slain during the war against Tempest, Velgrynd, were occupied at the time but still saw these soldiers fall during the massacre.

Mirai : So that's his plan...Velgrynd, this is part of Michael's sub skill [Regalia Dominion], it has quite a lot of function...one of them being capable of resurrecting the dead with total domination over their mind.

Though it was obvious that Michael couldn't retrieve the imperial soldier's body, he could barely resurrect them into a mindless form not like it mattered to him anyway.

No matter how foolish he is, he wouldn't expect a few soldiers to fight against a true dragon such as Velgrynd.

Velgrynd : How bothersome.

A large burst of flame litting on top of her palm, Velgrynd didn't hesitate before setting ablaze the surrounding.

Fire greedily devouring the space, Velgrynd didn't have an ounce of pity for her former colleague, rather she only went along with them because of Rudra.

At the end, neither were they friends or allies...just acquaintances serving the same master.

Velgrynd : Oh ?

But alas, her flames left the corpse unfazed...how strange, they should have been destroyed even at their prime state alive and conscious.

Mirai : It's obvious...they are here to block our path and win some time, Michael most likely gave them some resistance against your flames.

Velgrynd : How annoying, then I guess I have to try harder.

Mirai : You know, I never really imagined myself fighting alongside the scorch dragon.

Velgrynd : Well be grateful to fate as you'll witness the power of a true dragon.

They weren't much pressured since victory was assured from the very start against such a group.

Velgrynd : Though do be careful, particularly against Konod...his bullet might tickle a wound or two.

As mentioned, the gun saint Tatsuya Kondo raised his gun, aimed toward the guardian of the empire...he is still an ultimate skill holder.

Though it was not sure if he could impose Sandalphon in such a state...

Mirai : Tatsuya Kondo, mmh...isn't he the one capable of striking down a true dragon with a single bullet ?

Velgrynd : Oh dear, don't underestimate us will you...the only reason it worked in the first place is because the bullet was reinforced by Rudra's skill and I had personally distracted Veldora to create an opening, discarting his barriers.

Mirai : I see, that's quite the formation.

Velgrynd showed a proud smile, not because they had to devise a plan to gang up on Veldora to subdue him.

But because she felt a sort of bond blooming with this young heroine.

Velgrynd : Anyway, watch and learn.

Raising her fan, she pointed the tip toward Kondo...who charged an execution bullet, the bright crystal color filled the cannon.

Before shooting a fast bullet that itself appeared to travel instantly...but for Velgrynd, it was way too slow to pose a threat.

She merely turned her wrist, the edge of her fan collided with the bullet...

Velgrynd : As you see, such vulgar technique would never manage to harm a true dragon in a direct confrontation.

Twisting her wrist, she diverted the bullet, sending it bursting into the ceiling...a tiny hole pierced the wall to fly into the sky.

Velgrynd shrugged it off ready to send another offense, but she was outspeeded by Mirai who grinded her feet onto the ground.

Mirai : I can't let you do all the work can I ?

Smiling, she closed the gap with Kondo in an instant...sword in hand, she replicated her father's movement causing the gun saint to waver.

Mirai : Mmh ? Seems like despite being egoless, your soul still remembers its past experience (Though i'm surprised you guys weren't graced with enchantment or ultimate gift.)

Relieving the trauma that Kondo experienced after facing Dawn, the moving corpse couldn't properly react to Mirai's movements.

Mirai : It's such a shame.

Disposing of him, she destroyed its core in an instant with a series of sword swings...in the end, only the golden gun of Kondo remained.

Falling down in the ruined palace...

Mirai : Was this the receptacle ? How did he even get the gun back...it should have been buried on the battlefield after the owner's death.

Velgrynd : Are you done already ?

Mirai : Yes, we should take care of each other and lea-huh ?

Being snapped out of her thoughts, Mirai turned around ready for more action...but it was unnecessary as Velgrynd already suppressed the remaining enemies.

A sea of fire was assaulting the area, with all the enemies serving as food for the flames.

Mirai : It's a draw then since my prey was the most distinguished.

Velgrynd : How childish...

Mirai : Hehe.

Extinguishing the flames afterward, Velgrynd looked around...no sign of life or presence could be detected anymore.

Velgrynd : Did he just send these halflings and fled ?

Mirai : That's indeed really strange...to lie is in a trap but not using it as an opportunity, he clearly wanted to gain some time but for what ?

Velgrynd : Mmh, i got a bad feeling...

Taking her time to properly assess the situation, Velgrynd's eyes suddenly widened.

She looked at Mirai, then at the hole in the ceiling...the fact that Michael managed to use [Parallel Existence] turned her mind upside down.

Velgrynd : Don't tell me...

Mirai : Did you find a clue ?

Velgrynd : Let's go outside...

Without waiting further, she started floating upward...followed closely by Mirai, both of them landed on the roof of the ruined palace.

The facade of the eastern empire's capital city busting with citizens was presented to them...at first glance nothing seemed wrong until...

Mirai : That's...

Velgrynd : It's as I feared...there is no life in this land anymore...

An unimaginable sight was revealed to them, with further analysis...Velgrynd saw through the trick Michael had set.

All the citizens of the empire were already gone...yet when they approached and even now, they could still feel the presence of millions of people scattered around the capital.

Velgrynd : This is crazy...

Michael...this Manas had predicted their movement and left the empire after collecting all the souls he needed.

The millions of presence surrounding the empire are [Parallel Existence] fragmented in tiny pieces.

A clone can easily be seen through but a parallel existence is different as it is the actual individual splitted into multiple versions.

Controlling more than 2 was already hard for Velgrynd but Michael went way off by creating a million of them.

Mirai : But how is that even possible ?

Velgrynd : These parallel existences barely possess any strength...if I often split myself 50/50, then he chose to implement as decoy not even 0.0001 %.

To the point where they had no function for fighting but just existing...perhaps they didn't even had any ego...

The situation in itself was too absurd for Velgrynd to see through...

Velgrynd : He must have left the empire even before the war, we got fooled greatly.

Mirai : With a million souls...he could literally awaken any being or he could commit the irreparable...

What she meant by that is Ivarage, now that it was confirmed that the world destroyer has now an ego...

Being given that many souls would raise her ranking even further away from the rest of the strongest being.

Velgrynd : Seems like I was too late to protect either Rudra or what we developed...

A sad and lethargic flame ignited in her eyes, she gazed at the broken empire...there was no point in dwelling onto the past.

Still she took her time to carefully witness what she failed to protect.

Mirai : What do you plan to do now ?

Velgrynd : I...i will continue to fight and i still want to see Rudra, at least once more.

Mirai : Then we shall depart for the heaven.

Pointing her finger toward the shattered sky, there were no angels invading the eastern empire...most likely because there is no life here anymore.

Velgrynd : Right, the key to ending the tenma war is there...

Morphing to her dragon form, Velgrynd signalled Mirai to get on her back so they could depart right away.

Once instruction followed, the scorch dragon raised from the ground flying up at a high speed.

At last, the angels took notice of the two new intruder's presence and blocked their path...only to be turned into ashes by Velgrynd's aura.

Velgrynd : (But why did he leave in such haste while he gave away the information about his need for my dragon factor ? Could that be a bluff too ? If not, then I would be walking straight into their lair...)

Mirai : Don't think too much, in the worst case i'll send you away before anything happens.

Velgrynd : Don't speak as if you'll protect me, it's cringing my blood.

Mirai : (Does you even have blood...)

With that both would soon reach their destination, the central base of the enemy side...an action that wasn't planned or briefed previously.

Thus would radically shake the course of the war.

Rimuru Pov

After leaving the command to Benimaru and Shizu-san, I quickly departed for the barren land...

I didn't have to worry about Tempest because I got confirmation from Velzard-san and Ciel that we got the most stacked side.

At some point, we had formed a sort of fortress impossible to outclass...

Ciel : (Affirmative, after judging both side's power value...the sole scenario leading to a potential defeat would be the gathering of the entire angelic army to perform a single focus offense toward the Jura Forest.)

Rimuru : But that can't happen because it would free the hand of all our other allies...what about the situation in Ruberios, Dwargon and Sarion ?

Ciel : (From the most recent update, Dwargon's invasion has been quite tame compared to the rest of the world, their survival rate is nearing 68 %, as for the Sorcerer dynasty of Sarion, external actions were taken and they are of no harm for the time being.)

How strange, I guess in the end behind those angels are a mind and brain...they didn't just unleash a horde of egoless soldiers randomly.

They focused on the nation that posed a true threat to their goal...

Ciel : (As for Ruberios, it seems like the emergence of the legendary Hero Chronoa has turned the balance toward the holy empire positively.)

Rimuru : Hero Chronoa ? Oh you mean the one who had sealed Veldora, 300 years ago ?

Ciel : (Indeed, but...the presence emitted from Ruberios has already been analysed once by the master.)

Rimuru : Huh ?

Does that mean I already met the hero Chronoa ? But where...I doubt I'll forget someone with such prestige.

Ciel : (Even if there are some changes in their characteristics, I am positive over the fact that the true identity of the hero Chronoa is...Chloe Aubert.)

My mind blanked out for an instant, did she say Chloe ? But she is just a child, how could she be someone who had existed 3 centuries ago...

Rimuru : Chloe...what is going on ?

Ciel : (I advise the master to wait for Chloe Aubert's personal explanation but the most probable solution would be that she possesses a power that affects time as a whole.)

Rimuru : Time...

Wait, didn't Ramiris say something similar...when we summoned the spirits for the children, Chloe's turn took the oddest take.

Ramiris said something about the spirit summoned being from the future..is Chloe a time traveler ?

Rimuru : That would make sense even if it's an unbelievable prospect...

I'm saying that but I was myself reincarnated, people are summoned from the other world, skills literally affect the very law and nature of the world.

Someone being capable of manipulating time shouldn't be that surprising...but then, why did Chloe engage herself in that ?

Did something bad happen in the future ? This is nerve wracking...but alas I can only wait until the end of the war to get the full explanation.

Ciel : (Master, you have arrived at your destination...immediate focus is required.)

Rimuru : Ah hai hai.

I sighed and decided to put this matter aside in a corner of my memory for Ciel to remind me later.

For now, I was floating above the desolate land neighboring Ruberios, it was a total mess like the surface of the moon after being assaulted by an asteroid for millions of years.

Rimuru : Milim sure went on a rampage...

I'm sorry, I let you down for more than a week fighting on your own...because I need you to occupy Dagruel who is an enemy.

I'm aware that this isn't behavior worthy of a best friend, I used her for my personal gain...no maybe for the collective, still I abandoned her here.

For this, I can't fail in bringing her back with me...I'll be sure to spoil her with sweets after we get back to Tempest.

Rimuru : Mili-

But as I was about to call her out, my body completely froze as the surging imminent threat...I felt chill down my core, instinctively looking up.

Behind the pool of swarming angels, a being of inexcusable strength awaited his moment.

My eyes met his, even with Ciel i realized that he was a threat...someone incomparable to even when i faced Velgrynd and Veldora.

Ciel : (Warning, this individual has the ability to defeat the master...calculation of winning percentage, 2 % at the moment, best course of action would be leaving right away.)

2 %... this guy is bad news, there is only one name that popped in my mind from the strategy meeting that fit the situation.

Since Manas : Michael has inhabited emperor Rudra's body, then it leaves only the leader of the heavenly force...Feldway, Seraphim of the oldest class.

Rimuru : Run ? No, I can't afford that...not as long as Milim is here.

I narrowed my eyes, still locked with Feldway's...he seemed to be contemplating something, but ultimately he was the one to make the first move.

I jolted when he suddenly appeared right in front of me...moving instantly like I had seen some other people do before.

My brain started hyperventilating with Ciel's warning as I stood an inch away from Feldway.

Feldway : So you are that slime, how bothersome of an anomaly.

Rimuru : And you must be Feldway...to think we'll meet in such a way.

He didn't bother to listen to my words, his eyes showed pure disdain...

Feldway ; You are too dangerous to be left alone considering your nature, i'll get rid of you right this instant.

Raising his hand faster than I could react, I gritted my teeth...my own hand reached down for the sword as my wrist.

But he was simply faster, I could only watch his hand stretching threateningly toward me...

Ciel : (Issuing immediate action, activation of ultimate skill : Uriel!)

Rimuru : (Shit!)

I can only rely on Uriel for now...

Feldway : Die now-

I couldn't even close my eyes, watching the inevitable about to happen...a mysterious shade enveloped his arm.

He approached my neck dangerously fast...should i turn back into my slime form ? But then, will I even have the time for that ?

* Boom *

But what I feared anxiously didn't happen, instead Feldway was forcibly removed, sent crashing into the ground...

As in his stead, another being took his place...

Rimuru : Milim ?

My good dragonoid friend...her appearance changed so much, is this some kind of battle form ? Still, she saved me.

Having punched Feldway out of his way, her dilated pupils turned toward me...I felt a rise of anxiety for a brief instant.

But quickly suppressed it...i already failed as her bestie, so if i ran away now...i could never call myself her friend ever again.

Rimuru : Milim...it's me, Rimuru ! I-i'm sorry for having taken this long to come here...

I tried to use my softest tone while addressing her, she was oddly silent in response...so i thought it worked but no...

For a moment, she must have listened to me but the next instant...she started shaking, her mouth was left agape as a roar escaped to burst the vicinity.

I was forced to cover myself with a murder as I got pushed back...as for Milim, she didn't pay more attention to me and left in a hurry.

Continuing her massacre...though she seemed to be protecting me now ? I heard from Ramiris and the other that when Milim goes on berserk mode.

No one can reason with her, she is simply a machine thirsting for destruction...but just now, she definitely reacted to my words.

Rimuru : Milim has started focusing on Feldway...but as I am right now, I can't keep up with them.

Ciel : (Master, another powerful source has emerged from the ground...its main target of animosity is directed at Milim.)

Another source ? I clenched my fist and looked down...nearing the center of one of the largest crater, a giant with 6 hands and 3 heads was standing menacingly.

Not calling him a giant would be an understatement...he is a literal titan, and that face doesn't it belong to demon lord Dagruel ?

What's going on now ?

Rimuru : Who...

Ciel : (Most likely, the complete and true form of demon lord Dagruel, the Mad Titan, Ashura.)

Rimuru : What are my chances of winning against him ?

Ciel : (Cannot make an accurate judgement as i don't possess any data on him.)

Rimuru : I see...the most sensible thing to do would be to wait patiently and act once everything goes according to a plan.

Yeah, that's the most reasonable course of action...but as i watched Milim and Feldway clashing...

I felt rage dwelling in my core, I shook my head impatiently of my predicament.

Rimuru : Ciel, I'm going to fuel myself with Ashura's power and help Milim...

Ciel : (Understood, I shall assist master with whatever desire he has.)

I nodded quietly before descending, sensing my approach...Ashura turned his 3 heads toward me.

I could tell instinctively that he was an opponent nearing my current strength...I can win this, I'm sure of it.

Rimuru : Awaken Belzebuth...it's time for your meal.
