Arsene withdrew his hand from Meredith's shoulder and deactivated his Singularity. He nearly collapsed but luckily landed onto the couch. Sebastian noticed and said,
"Perhaps using it for too long affects you."
Arsene smiled with his eyes closed,
"No, it's just that Mr. Meredith is truly astonishing! I never expected to experience something like that. You made me live through all those illusions as if I were facing them myself. You did me a huge favor!
I don't know how to thank y—"
Meredith interrupted,
"Don't say that. Everything depended on you. I only facilitated the process. But I have to admit, you surprised me. I really didn't expect all of that from you.
You escaped all those scenarios with nothing but your mental energy. I believe another dark horse is about to arrive at the Academy!"
Sebastian smiled,
"A dark horse? I think he's more like a dragon, in my opinion."
