"Good evening and welcome to ASNT Evening News, this is Iris Vale, reporting to you live in downtown Ashbridge where a massive explosion has just occurred following a shootout that is believed to be gang-related."
The reporter turned and looked at the collapsed building behind her, her microphone still in hand as she continued her segment.
"We are here with one of the officers who was first to respond to the scene."
The camera panned out, showing a middle-aged officer in his pristine patrol uniform, looking too clean for the chaos around him.
"Good evening, Officer. Can you tell us what transpired here?" She brought her microphone close to the officer's mouth.
The man looked eager to answer the question.
"Good evening to you too, Iris." Reaching for his tie and adjusting it slightly, "Right now, our priority is securing the scene and ensuring public safety."
