I stepped out of the police station, the cool night air hitting my face. I let out a deep breath, trying to push away the frustration clawing at my mind. Luca was already out, waiting by the car, his expression unreadable as I approached.
I slid into the seat, leaning back as Luca started the engine.
The drive was quiet, the hum of the car filling the silence. My thoughts drifted to Bella, wondering if she was okay. The moment I got back, I needed to check in on her.
As soon as we pulled up to the house, I stepped out without another word. I needed a drink, maybe some peace, though I doubted I'd get either.
I walked into my room and stopped dead in my tracks.
Sabrina was sprawled across my bed, completely naked, her eyes dark with desire. A slow, seductive smile curved her lips as she propped herself up on one elbow.
"Took you long enough," she purred. "I was getting lonely."
