After I left Nicole's bedroom, I picked up my briefcase from my room, and hurried out of my room and out of the building. As usual, my men were waiting for me, with the cars ready to go.
I stepped into the car, and my men, sensing my haste hurriedly took their positions in the cars, and off we went, out of the compound, even though I had told Nicole that I will come back. Of course I had no intention of going back to Nicole, not when I knew what awaited me. Yesterday's experience was still fresh in my memory.
I Know it is impossible to get away, and I'm ready for whatever lies in wait for me when I return but at the moment, I have to go to the office.
