"Yes, I told him I would put in good words for him, and perhaps he would be released, but who knew?" Mason replied with a sigh, a mourning expression on his face.
Gray and Bryce exchanged glances. They understood the game Mason was playing.
"Where is his body?" Mason asked when he noticed that they didn't give him a reply.
"It is inside, Eliana is there as well, so I'll suggest you wait before you go in, we need to give her the privacy she needs," Gray was the one who gave a response.
"That's fine by me, I'll just wait here until she's done, before I pay my final respects," Mason said with a small smile.
Bethany stood close to Gray, finding it awkward to be around him after knowing the truth about him.
