The group advanced forward while they kept themselves busy fighting against horde of Fiends. Even though Arthur was already out of the fight due to the excessive use of Force, the group was able to handle the battle well.
Silvera wrecked the formations of the Fiends while activating her Flaming Aura. She also conjured Meteor Strike. A huge boulder engulfed in flames descended from the sky, smashing the Fiends and burning their corpses until they turned into ashes. She also materialized countless Fire Balls that grew in size, transforming from Fire Balls to Meteor Balls that generated the same results as the Meteor Strike.
While Silvera was causing havoc in the other side, Teresia was also leaving destruction on her path. She conjured Lightning Clouds. Dark clouds formed in the sky and golden lightning descended from the clouds, striking the Fiends and electrifying them. She also conjured Lightning Lances to deal with the finishing blow. To make matters worse for the Fiends, Teresia was also good in swordsmanship. Her rapier, ThunderBlade, slashed her enemies with a quick motion of a lunge, causing their bodies to explode due to the powerful enhancement behind her blade.
Teresia conjured Shock Wave which sent tendrils of lightning throughout the ground, electrifying those who got caught. Then, her Lightning Lances will do its job, killing the enemies on the spot.
From the distance, Rain was besides Watson and Arthur. He conjured Sea Sphere and countless, quick, and sharp blades were shot out from the sphere, piercing the Fiends chest and skull. Rain also conjured Tsunami. A huge wave of sea made its way through the battlefield, drowning the Fiends until they die from hypoxia.
The battle looked intense from the Projector, but it was a one-sided massacre. The group didn't hesitate to slaughter those who tried to get in their way. They have one goal in mind and that was to get out of the field alive.
At first, they all seemed to care about themselves. But as they fought together, they grew closer to each other. And Arthur protecting them when they got surrounded was the icing in the cake. Now, the group worked as a team and have no plans on leaving someone behind.
After a long and gruesome battle, the group finally found the exit.
"There it is! Everyone, to the exit point!" Silvera shouted while she kept her Flaming Aura and Flaming Swords active to protect them from the Fiends from behind.
The group moved in unison. As they were about to reach the exit gate, the ground trembled intensely, causing the group to stumble on the ground.
"What is it now?" Watson asked. But her question was quickly answered as a gigantic Fiend was standing in front of her.
The giant swung its hands to swat Watson away, but Rain caught her and Arthur before the giant could kill them. Teresia appeared as soon as the giant swung its hand, but its body was tough that her Thunder Blade couldn't pierce through its skin.
"What the fu-" Before Teresia could say anything, the swarm of Fiends began to move. They surrounded the group, leaving them so close to the gate, yet so far.
"Damn it! The exit point is just there!" Rain said in annoyance as they couldn't advance forward due to the huge numbers of Fiends surrounding them. "What should we do?" He asked.
Before any of them could say anything, Silvera and Teresia bolted towards the giant. The former conjured Meteor Ball from point blank range, hitting the giant on its chest and making it stumble backwards, while the latter activated her Thunder Blade rapier skill, Critical Strike, that left a crater on the giant's body.
"We'll deal with this one." They said in unison.
"Rain, Watson, go deal with these disgusting freaks. Leave this guy to us." Silvera said and the two nodded.
Fortunately for the group, Arthur was back to his peak strength. Upon hearing Silvera's order, he said: "Then, we leave the giant to you. Don't take too long."
"That guy!" Silvera said in annoyance but was glad that Arthur was alive and doing well. "Then we have nothing to worry about. We'll kill this giant faster than you can deal with these Fiends, cocky brat!"
Silvera and Teresia charged against the giant, while the rest of the group dealt against the swarm of Fiends.
