Jack's POV
I walked out of the room, towards the stairs, my heart boiled. She was just so stubborn. So hard to get, as always.
I was done doing it the easy way. I was going to get her the hard way. Catherine cannot slip off my fingers, not after I let Emma slip off because I was cold and gentle.
"Hi, doctor, how did it go? What's wrong with our daughter?" Their voices echoed at the same time the moment they saw me walking towards the living room.
I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself.
"She's fine, just that…" I stopped.
"Never mind. I will get her some medications later, but at the moment, she is pretty alright," I said, adjusting my tie and taking my seat.
"I feel alright now," Mrs. Moore exclaimed, placing her hands on her chest.
"And as for that silly driver, I will make sure he regrets his actions," she snapped, turning to face her husband.
"Sure, I know what to do," he snapped angrily.
