Chaos.
What was chaos, or what did it represent?
It's a way of saying that chaos creates "possibilities," a force that breaks the laws of the universe at will.
Chaos represents "non-existence," but it is also the source that can create "possibilities."
The void was the representation of nothingness, a way to control it.
Chaos created possibilities, but it could also erase them.
For example, if my arm were cut off, I couldn't easily reattach it to its place; it would have to be recreated from scratch.
But what if I created a possibility in which I placed my severed arm back in its place and used chaos to make it return to how it was before being cut?
Chaos could make that possibility a reality, but it would also erase something from the one who used it, as a price for creating it.
A power that even the constellations fear.
