CHAPTER 34
Jones received a text. It was from one of Kael's shadows. He was about to open it, but a call came in from the same person. He stood up, and Alice followed him. They were sitting inside the hospital lobby in case Diandra would come back. Ted was standing by at the sidewalk in case the redhead would ever appear again.
"Sir, this is Myers. We found her."
"What is it, Butler Jones?" Alice was quick on her feet, trying to keep up with the man's long strides.
"Where?" Jones ignored the maid.
"She's at the central police station."
"Okay. We're coming. Meet us outside."
"Yes, sir." He hung up and quickened his pace. Alice was almost running to catch up.
Ted saw them outside the hospital doors and jogged in their direction.
