I continued counting in my head how many hours was left until I could excuse myself from the dining table. We unfortunately happened to be eating dinner at the same time.
I was in my private office tending to my business and I forgot track of time. I almost wanted to turn back and ignore the gnawing hunger in my stomach when I saw Dilan seated at the head of the dining table eating calmly like he wasn't in a rush.
The pains In my stomach however were too strong to ignore so I just walked up to him, dragged out a chair and sat down.
"I haven't seen the both of you together since the wedding was announced." He murmured without raising his head up to look at me.
"It's either you call off the wedding or something drastic would happen." My voice was calm but my words weren't.
Dilan met my annoyed face with a smug smile. "Why do you want me to call it off?"
I scoffed. Should that even be a question?
"I'm not interested in your daughter." I said flatly.
