With the words from Sylvie, Ben now had a short term goal: to get the materials for his Shamanic script. And a way to do that is known by his teacher. But he had to wait. Ben had his school work and training most of his time. He would see his friends at the end of school or during breaks. The day before the weekend Ben decided to stay at home. He had something to check. He took the Saptarishi Samhita. He wanted to know if there would be some changes in it. There was no change. Then he thought about something. He made a small cut in his finger and put a drop on the book. Then he opened the book and looked at the next page.
There he found another chapter unlocked. After becoming a martial knight, many aspects of his body were enhanced. This included the processing power of brain as well. With his enhanced brain activity when he thought back, he understood that book unlocked new chapters when he touched it with bloodied hands. He just tested the theory and turned out to be true.
The name of the next chapter was 'Vasishtha Vachanam'. There was some text that was written in it in some cryptic language. When he looked at it and tried make sense out of it, the meaning became clear to him.
The first part of it was a passage which contained a kind of philosophical poem:
"Life is only possible with death. Without the death of a seed, a tree is not born. Creation starts with destruction. That is the mandate of the nature. Contradiction is the nature of the universe. Every living being is a universe. They carry contradictions. Rage and serenity are the contradictions of mind. When these contradictions come together, the potential within one's body answers one's call. Discover your slumbering potential, unfold the cosmos within you and enjoy the liberation of ascension."
Ben could understand the philosophy to a certain extent. But he did not understand how this philosophy can unlock the potential within him. He tried to make sense of the other pages of the chapter. He read some of them and tried to summarize it in his own words. Ben was an average student. He needed more time than anyone to study anything. The summarization of what he understood was what he did to speed up the process.
'So, this is actually kind of a berserker state. The adrenaline rush will give the body a temporary boost and can last for some time. But the catch is that it should not be abused. But it also warns of someone getting consumed by the excitement of the state and not being able to exit the state. That is where the previous chapter ' Jamdagni Bhavana' comes into play. To start this one has to enter a frenzied state. It recommends either the use of some mild hallucinogen or using one's own memory to enter the frenzied state. One should also have a trigger to exit the frenzied state. The matter of the fact is they have even told about the impact of life aura in this text. How did the Saptarishis know the marthyas will get access to aura? May be they were clairvoyant. It also mentions a higher level where one will be able to enter and exit the state at will. But I cannot train it here. I have to use the school. Other wise the destruction caused will be a problem.'
During the weekend, Ben went to the martial training area of the school. No one was around. He wanted to try something. There were some equipment with which he could train. He began with some warm ups and jogging. Then he began to meditate with the image cosmos in him. When his mind calmed down, he thought about a trigger. Although there were some bullies in his life, the one man who came to his mind was Mahaansh. But then he thought about the opportunity he was going to bring and his rough but thorough mentoring. It dissipated. But then he decided to just try to get enraged. He did not know if it would work or not, but he had to try. Then he had to have trigger for exiting the state. He could not find any. Still he decided to go on with the enraged state. He had to see if he could unleash his potential or not.
He tried to enrage himself using the memories of him being bullied or feeling weak or feeling frustrated. Inside his body there was an adrenaline rush. His vison narrowed and his frontal brain activity decreased. The amygdala, hypothalamus and the sympathetic nervous system were activated, increasing Ben's alertness, heartrate and thus muscle readiness. He unleased the moves from his basic training and 'Agastya Parvam' on the training equipment.
Something else also happened. The meridian seed stirred. The aura in the energy core and meridian channels began to take a blood red hue. The connection with the meridians and the central nervous system allowed it to tap into the potential in Ben's body. In response to the body the meridians began to release aura matching the aggression shown by Ben.
There was booming sound in the training arena. Each of his punch and kick were enhanced under this state. At first Ben, was doing this out of pure rage. But then he remembered the words from the chapter and entered the sate where he redirected the rage. He imagined he redirected the rage to his punches and kicks. He entered the state between rage and serenity. His movements became more fluid. The flow of his aura became more efficient. The placing of his limbs became more efficient. The metabolism in the body became more efficient. But it was far from perfect. Thus the aura and nutrients were consumed. Thus, Ben was fatigued. He just fell down.
Now he understood the meaning of warning in the book. ' I can't imagine what would happen if I got fatigued in the middle of combat. That would be the end of me. I need to master this. Until then I cannot use it amidst combat. The next question is a trigger to switch this mode off. I need to set such a trigger. Ha a lot to do.'
Ben tried it one more time after healing. Then he did some stretching and entered meditation. In the evening, before meeting his friends he tried to look at the price of the various materials that should be used for the shamanic script. It could not be said as exorbitant, but was still not something he could afford at the moment.
Then he saw something. He could get the ½ a litre of aether lupis blood and 100mg of spinal fluid for about 600,000 mudras. It could also be bought in installments. But there was requirement of 200,000 mudras in down payment. Ben was a bit of over cautious sometimes. He did not trust anything that easily. So he asked Mahaansh when he got a chance.
Mahaansh used some connections, made some calls, send some messages. He soon got the message that the add was genuine and that the trader did have the aether lupis blood and spinal fluid. Mahaansh's connection went to check the quality of the product. It took some time, but he did verify the authenticity of the product.
It did not take long. Unknown to Ben Mahaansh used his Martial Lord status to get a discount. He said to Ben that it was a special discount for student. The procedures were completed and the materials were transported. Ben paid 400,000 mudras to decrease the total cost. Now he only had 50,000 mudras with him. But to him it was worth it.
