He found some information on Aether lupis and he summarized it in his device and read through it. ' Aether Lupis are a rare breed of lupis which are born from the union of electra lupis and gale lupis. The chance of these creatures being born are very low as the different types of lupis do not have compatible DNA. But under rare circumstances, there will be an offspring. The aether lupis are one such kind. As such they are seldom spotted. These creatures are often born with the ability to sense space and bend it to a certain extent. At their peak they have the power to cause cosmic singularities and are one of the few animals who can go into the origin beast state.'
Then Ben searched through for origin beasts and found some information on those. 'Origin beasts are the higher form in the evolution for an animus. This is only possible for a handful of beasts. Some of them are aether lupis, airavata- white loxodonta, vyali and flamma leo. These beasts after undergoing their animus evolution and gaining their bi-pedal form will further refine and make their powers more efficient. At a tipping point they will go back to their quad- pedal form, but with their powers being on a mythical scale. Their actions shape the entire climate and resources in entire planet. As such, no origin beast is allowed in Terra. This is to prevent the climate in Terra being manipulated. In this matter Marthyas, Naturas and Metallas stand together. Not all origin beasts are malevolent. Airavata is a particular favourite in reforming plantes. Its powers for manipulating ground and aiding the growth of plants makes it a particular favourite. In its origin beast form, it has a glowing white color and six tusks. It is so beautiful and majestic that many people have advocated to bring it back to terra. Some even formed cults to worship it. Vyali is the straight opposite for this. While it does not destroy, the planet where its origin beast vyali resides will be perpetually having extreme climates, making it extremely perilous to life. It is also a very violent creature. As such it is not so much preferred . But sometimes, entire planets where the vyali origin beast is there is used as training ground for soldiers for elite units. In such cases the vyali is contained by a martial entity.'
Then Ben continued to read about the aether lupis. ' Aether lupis is a very territorial beast and something which values its pack above all else. In its origin form it will see all lupis as its pack and will protect it. It does make some positive impacts on the climate. Most important aspect of an origin beast aether lupis being on a planet is the rise of spatial type materials in the planet. These materials have a wide range of application from transportation, storage and weaponry. Hence, aether lupis are particularly sought out. Killing of any aether lupis is considered a crime in almost all nations. So long as the aether lupis and its pack are left alone, it will not attack anyone or anything other than its prey. The particularly strong aether lupis often consume entire stars and blackholes and travel millions of light years.'
Seeing this information Ben really wanted his shamanic beast to be the aether lupis. He felt like his meridian seed was also resonating with it. But there were many things he could not understand. 'How am I going to give my shamanic animal the power and shape of an aether lupis? And if aether lupis are rare, then how will I find them? Man what a pain. Now I got to ask Mahaansh or other teachers.'
Soon Ben found himself in front of Mahaansh and his science teacher Sylvie. She adjusted her glasses and looked at him. Ben still did not understand why a martial noble like she needed glasses. But he did not as her that. She said, "So you want to know about how to make your shamanic animal?" Ben nodded.
She looked at Mahaansh. He stared right back at her. She smiled and looked at Ben and continued, " As you should know, shamanic beast is formed from your life energy. As such it should come from your body. To introduce an affinity that is not in your body, you need to get something that has that affinity which can be introduced into your body" Ben looked at her puzzled.
She clarified " You need to get either the blood, energy core or spinal fluid of an aether lupis. That is one way to introduce the spatial affinity temporarily to your body. When it is temporarily introduced, use that to create your 'shamanic script' in the form of an aether lupis. The shamanic beast is your belief; it comes from your mind. But the affinity will not come from you and can only be temporarily introduced into you. That temporary affinity can be stored by using the shamanic script."
Ben could understand to a certain extent. But now he had to find the materials required for the shamanic script.
Mahaansh said, "These materials are available in the market. But the cost is high. Spatial materials often have a premium. But for you, large quantity is not required as you are a martial knight."
Ben asked, "So how will I procure those materials?"
Mahaansh answered, " I have an opportunity for you. I will tell you when the time is right"
Ben was still concerned. Mahaansh said, " Don't worry, it will be helpful for you. I am just helping you to grab that opportunity."
Ben asked, " How will I create the shamanic scripture with the affinity of space imbued in it? I don't understand the logic."
Sylvie answered the question "There is a procedure to do that. And also you are not being imbued with the affinity of space. You are being imbued with the abilities of an aether lupis. It has more abilities than spatial manipulation. Aether lupis are creatures who have excellent tracking capabilities and are extremely social animals, which will guard its pack extremely fiercely. Now the shamanic scripture is actually formed by the clustering of your meridian seeds in your body. It absorbs the temporary affinity introduced into your body and concentrates it in that meridian cluster. So in effect the larger the shamanic script and the more contrast it has, the more powerful you are. That is because, with the increase in size and contrast of your shamanic script, there will be more and more meridians which have the affinity of your shamanic beast and more pronounced those affinities become."
Ben could now understand a little. But he was not fully convinced. Sylvie said, " You will understand many things once you complete that procedure. Remember, you are a shamanic beast master. That is, you are a beast master as well. Which means that the development of your beast depends on you. It depends on your will power and your imagination. You are the limit of your beast. Also, your will is the limit of your martial journey."
