"Unique magic? What's that?" Jack blinked in confusion.
"Nothing," Max muttered, turning to Ray.
"I've read about the theory," Ray said, thoughtful. "But I don't know much in detail."
Then, slowly, all eyes turned to Alina, who was still sitting on the bed. She froze, clearly caught off guard by the sudden attention.
Jack, still clueless, whispered, "What's with this donut all of a sudden?"
Max leaned in a little. "Do you know how to use unique magic? I mean… can someone use it without a wand?"
He looked hopeful. He couldn't use regular magic properly, and last time, the system clearly said "hug punch" had to be triggered by… well, punching. But this time, the paper skill said nothing.
Alina narrowed her eyes. "Why do you suddenly want to know that?"
Max scratched his head, unsure how to explain. "I think I might have one… a unique magic, I mean."
"Haah?!" Alina's eyes shot open. She stared at him for a second before calming herself. "Are you serious?"
