"GAAAH!"
A random Obelisk Blue student let out a pained cry as he crashed onto his back, groaning. His wide, terrified eyes shot upward, only to lock onto something far worse than defeat.
"PATHETIC."
A silver heel slammed down onto his chest, pinning him in place. Lovely Labrynth looks down on the boy with disdain as if she is seeing a very ugly blue bug she stepped on.
She pressed her heel down harder, making the boy wince and gasp in agony. "G-GAH! Please..! Have mercy..!"
Her lip curled in disgust. "Tch. And here I thought Obelisks were supposed to be elite of this school. This one can't even take a little pain let alone survive 3 turns before getting lovely locked."
"Waah!" the boy yelped as she yanked him up by the collar, dragging his terrified face closer to hers.
"I wouldn't even keep you as a slave in my castle, YOU BRAT!" she snapped with fury in her eyes.
"UWAAAHHH!! MOMMYYY!!" The Obelisk Boy cried.
"UWAAAHHH!! M-MOMMYYY!!" he wailed, breaking down into hysterics.
As the poor boy sobbed, drawing pitying looks from nearby Ra and Slifer students, I let out a long, theatrical sigh.
"Hhh... Lovely, hurry up and finish him off. We've still got three more blue preys to go if we want to break our high score."
"He might've committed the ultimate sin of calling you 'mid,' but c'mon, it's turn thirty now. And I'm getting bored of 'Lovely Locking' this unworthy Obelisk loser." I said, as I was lazily laying sideways on the floor, leaning on my elbow with a leg bent and the other stretched out.
As much as an "hell yeah" dueling while standing up sounds like. Unfortunately I've always been a tabletop guy and it will always be that way. Because there is no such thing as an 'high tech holographic dueling with a duel disk' in my previous life.
And I can't even stand still for more than 10 minutes in my previous life, but that's just a me problem, I guess.
Lovely perked up with a playful smile. "With pleasure, My Darling~"
Without hesitation, she slap him across the face so hard he went flying, crashing into the wall and getting his head getting comically stuck in it like a cartoon character.
{Hans LP: 1100 -> 0}
I stood up with a yawn, arms stretching above my head as the duel holograms flickered and disappeared, except for my Lovely, who skipped excitedly toward me.
"Three more to go, Darling~!"
"Of course, my love," I replied, flashing a sinister grin. "Let's go hunt down the rest of our unfortunate blue-blooded prey."
And with that, we left behind a stunned and trembling sea of Ra and Slifer students.
Well, hello everyone, Mash here!
So... There this little tradition of mine that I do every break time for the past 2 weeks. What is it you may ask? Oh, it's simple. I just hunt down at three Obelisk Blue students, no big deal.
NOW. You might be asking, "Why would you waste time on dueling Obelisk Students if you can duel your own Slifer trash peers?" The answer? Duel Points, baby.
See, in this Academy, the number one most important thing isn't your what dorm your in, what rare cards you have, or even your typical anime friendships. Nope. It's DP.
Because Duel Points buy you the second most important thing in this school: Card Packs.
Okay, okay. You might be saying in your head, "But Mash, don't you already have your broken-ass system with gacha and crafting and yada yada..." WELL SHUT UP AND LISTEN UP KIDS!
CREDITS. ARE. LIMITED. AND I PREFER SAVING THEM RATHER THAN GACHA FOR THE DOPAMINE OF IT!
But there's more reason for me saving them and using card pack for cards, but... We'll get into that topic later. For now, let's talk about why Obelisk students are my preferred prey.
At Duel Academy, when you beat someone in a duel, you earn DP based on their dorm. Each dorm has this kinda "bounty" system or something... Anyway, we'll call them bounty for explanation sake.
For example, stupid dumbfuck Slifer's has a bounty of 10 DP when you defeat them, which makes them fucking worthless. While Ra Yellow has a bounty of 50 DP, not bad but not great either. And then there's the elite Obelisk Blue's with the big jolly bounty of 100 DP a pop.
But wait! There's more!
Because this school loves an underdog story it seems, so they added multipliers to each dorm to spice things up. Obelisk doesn't have them because they are the elites (NOT). Ra got a 2x bonus points when defeating an Obelisk, ONLY. Because Slifers are trash by default.
And then there's us…! This, is the reason why I want to be in Slifer Red... Because Slifer Red multiplier is go FRICKING..! 3X MULTIPLIERS! To everyone except Slifer's because even amongst ourselves we are still trash.
Anyway, that means... Just by giving trap trauma to 3 Obelisk students I just racked up 900 DP in a single day! And I can rack even more if I wanted too!
But, then you might ask, "Mash, if the reward is so stinky garbage low for beating you, why would any Obelisk even bother dueling you?"
Ah, you sweet, naive readers. Because the answer is one single word: ego.
Obelisk students are walking, talking, "Young Masters" straight out of a cultivation manhwa. Arrogant, prideful, and extremely easy to bait. All it takes is a little nudge to their fragile pride and boom! They're sprinting into the trap zone. For example, here's one from 10 days ago.
I walked up to some random Obelisk Blue."Hey. Duel me."
He scoffed. "Pfft. Why would I waste my time on a Slifer?"
"Pussy."
"Alright. Let's duel."
And then we duel and I won and got a 300 DP pop! Easy peasy.
Well... That is a simpler and more censored example of what happens, because the real example is where I insulted their Mother, Father, Grandma, Sister, 5th Grade teacher, dog, cat, parrot and their entire generation of family tree and also the kid was black because he was from Africa...
*Cue that one Momoi GIF*
And then there's the Individual bounty, Which is self explanatory and how you increase it is by winning any duel, then your bounty goes up by 1 DP. And it also has it's own multiplier if you won against higher dorms.
Now, my bounty is 207 points after only 2 weeks. Which is actually a little lower than Zane who has 229 points after 3 years in this school. Well, since my bounty is this high people should strive to challenge and hunt me down for points, right?
NO! In fact, I'm the one bounty hunting upper classmen's for their bounty, and every Obelisk blue started avoided me after my bounty got to 100. (Also, for those of you wondering, yes, bounty resets after you loss or draw a duel. Anyway-)
They also started giving me cringe nicknames from salty duelists trying to cope, like "Trap monkey", "3 turn duelist", "Simp" etc. But there is still that one title I really like and is also the most popular one, "Trap King and the Silver Queen"
Ugh...! I'm getting sick of this yapping. Let's get back to-
Oh? What's this?
Something caught my eye as I strolled through the corridor 3 spiky dense strand of black hair peeking out from just around the corner.
I crept closer and as I took a peek around the corner. And lo and behold, the Edge-lord himself.
"Ahh, Chazz..." I said with a mischievous smile.
There he was, leaning coolly against the wall with his arms crossed like he was posing for a gothic magazine cover. His face flinched when I stepped out with Lovely from the corner, but in a blink, he dropped the expression and went right back to his cold, stoic look.
"Hey hey!" I called out with a grin. "Let's duel—"
"I'm busy," he muttered flatly, immediately turning to walk the other way.
Lovely immediately zipped past me and intercepted him with a smug smirk sharp enough to cut steel. "Ho ho ho~! What's this, Chazzy-boy~? Running away from a duel with me again~? Don't you feel ashamed? You're an Obelisk Blue running away from a a Slifer slacker~! Ho Ho Ho~!"
He didn't even look at her. "I'm busy." he repeated, pushing past her.
I stepped in next, cutting him off on the opposite side. When he turned to walk the other way, Lovely blocked him again with a very smug expression.
"Going somewhere, Chazzy-boy~?" she teased.
"Tch!" Chazz clicked his tongue, visibly grinding his teeth now. "Outta the way! I said I'm busy!"
"Oh nooo, not the classic 'I'm busy' again," I mocked. Then I started repeating him everytime he said it. "I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy, I'm busy… You always say that everytime I bumped into you! And yet, somehow, every time I duel, it's either you or one of your lackeys is always lurking in some shady little corner watching and recording with their PDA!"
His eyes widened. "Wh-What?! How did you—?"
"Because of me~!" Lovely chirped sweetly. "Even in this holographic body, my eye's are top-tier, you know~? You creepy little stalker~"
"I—I…!" Chazz's mouth opened, trying to form words. "SHUT UP!"He suddenly exploded then stormed forward, shoulder-checking me to the ground, and quickly ran down the corridor and disappear.
I groaned, "Ugh… what's his problem?"
"I know the solution, Darling~" Lovely said cheerfully, gripping her massive silver battle axe with both hands. Her sweet tone didn't match the bloodlust in her eyes. "Death."
"Lovely, that's jail for me."
"Not if they never find the body~ And my silver weapons disappear after a day, so it's the perfect murder tool~"
I sighed. [Damn, what is wrong with him...? Ever since I dueled against Chazz that time, he's been acting all cold and way too stoic in class, unlike the usual arrogant and all high and mighty behaviour I expected of him like in the anime.]
[Then I felt him glaring at me multiple times like I ran over his dog. And now this stalking behavior? Unless he secretly has feelings for me like that time he has feeling to Alexis, (I doubt) this is completely out of character.]
[Ugh… I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.] I rubbed my temple with a groan and forced myself up from the spot where I was bumped.
"C'mon. We only need three more Obelisks students to break out high-"
Then I paused, blinking at the sight in front of me.
"Well, speak of the devil..."
From around the corner strolled three familiar figures—blonde, brunette, and black-haired Obelisk girls, walking together without a care in the world.
A wicked grin spread across my face.
[3rd POV]
Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy were strolling down the Duel Academy corridor like usual, each holding a bag of Drawbread from the card shop. They were on their way back to class to eat the Drawbread, but even a casual walk like this didn't go unnoticed.
"Woah, look, it's Alexis Rhodes!"
"The queen of Obelisk Blue herself…"
"And the queen of second turns and comebacks!"
They ignored the whispers, like they always did. But Alexis couldn't help letting out a quiet sigh, exasperated by all the attention. Especially from the boys.
[When I enrolled at Duel Academy, I thought it would just be a place to sharpen my dueling skills… And also investigate my brother's disappearance. I didn't expect it would turn me into some kind of celebrity. 'Queen of Obelisk Blue' was self-explanatory. But the other one came from a single card...]
Alexis pulled out {Lightning Storm} Card from her deck and looks at it. [All because of this one single card Mash gave me. The nickname stuck after I used it to nuke their whole monsters on my second turn or turn around a bunch of duels where every card in my field got wiped out and it works wonder especially against boys who challenged me with the whole 'If I win, be my girlfriend' nonsense.]
Alexis put away the card back to her deck in her deck pouch. [Mash... He gave Jaden 4 cards and he turned a single normal summon from a brick hand into 2 powerful monster that could easily win you any duel in a single turn. But where did he get these...]
"hey! You three!"
Alexis snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of a familiar voice. She, Jasmine and Mindy turned around, instantly recognizing the black-haired Slifer Red student approaching with a smirk and beside him, the striking silver-draped figure of Lovely Labrynth. Both of them wore the kind of mischievous smiles that made it clear... they'd found their next prey.
The surrounding students began to murmur as the pair stepped closer.
"Hiiii...! It's Mash!" Mindy squealed. "Isn't this around his hunting time?"
"Mash!? That demon…!" Jasmine muttered, glaring.
"Ho...? If it isn't the Queen of Second Turns and Comebacks herself," Mash called out dramatically, "and her two trusty little bodyguards."
Alexis crossed her arms but kept her tone composed. "And if it isn't the Trap King and his Silver Queen. What a lovely surprise, Mash."
The air thickened with tension as the two locked eyes in a silent stare-down…
"…These titles are kinda lame, huh?" Mash broke the silence.
Alexis let out a breath. "Tell me about it."
"At least yours 'Queen of Obelisk Blue' sounds elegant," Mash shrugged. "Mine sounds like a snotty middle schooler came up with it during recess."
Alexis gave a sideways glance. "Yours is at least intimidating. Mine sounds like some overlong title a fanboy slapped together."
Mash nodded. "Yeah, the readers could probably come up with better one than these shits" (IG notes: sobs)
The mood deflated in the most anticlimactic way possible. The corridor, once buzzing with tension, now just felt awkward.
Mindy tilted her head. "Uhm… aren't you gonna ask us to duel for DP like you usually do?"
"Mindy!" Jasmine snapped.
"What?!"
Lovely twirled her axe with a giggle then point it at them. "Ho ho ho~ You're absolutely right, Mindy~! We only need three more to go till we break our daily hunt record~!"
The girls tensed instinctively. But then Jasmine and Mindy stepped in front of Alexis with determined looks.
"Don't worry, Alexis! We'll protect you!" Jasmine declared.
"Yeah!" Mindy added, activating her Duel Disk. "If you want to get to Alexis, you'll have to go through us first!"
Jasmine and Mindy then readies themselves as they slip their duel disk on their hand.
Lovely grinned with delight. "How brave of you loyal pawns~! Unfortunately for you~ me and my Darling~ Are about to wipe the floor with this duel-!"
"Actually, Lovely." Mash cut in casually, "I don't want to duel them."
Everyone froze.
Lovely, Alexis, Jasmine, Mindy: "WHAT?!"
Lovely blinked, caught completely off guard. "But why… Darling~?"
"Well," Mash began, rubbing the back of his neck, "they've been pretty lucky avoiding us these past two weeks. So I decided since they are already so lucky. If we bump into them while hunting, we won't duel them unless they challenge or provoke us first. But there's a condition, of course."
Alexis narrowed her eyes. "Condition…?"
Mash raised a hand with a grin. "Yeah. Please just hang out with my lovely."
The girls stared, baffled. Lovely looked like someone just short-circuited her.
"Darling~!? What… what do you mean!?"
Mash looked at her fondly. "Well, I've been thinking about you a lot lately, my love."
Lovely's cheeks turned slightly pink. "D-Darling~…"
"And I realized that someone like you. An elegant, beautiful, and amazing wife, BUT! As long as you're with me, there will be one thing someone like you will never get to experience."
Lovely tilted her head, puzzled. "What…?"
"A girl group experience," Mash said solemnly. "You know? Girl talk, gossip, makeovers, sleepovers, whatever it is girls do together, I'm a boy so I don't know. You'll never know what that feels like if you stay by my side all the time!"
"…What." Lovely's voice cracked.
Mash nodded like it was gospel truth. "Yup. So I want you to make some girl friends. Like, real ones."
Lovely slowly turned to look at Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy, who waved awkwardly in response. They are confused as hell but polite enough to go along.
"B-But Darling…" she whispered.
Mash leaned forward. "Hmm? Are you nervous about making friends with girls, my love?"
"WHAT!?" she burst. "O-Of course not! A Silver Queen like me!? Nervous of making friends!? Watch me, Darling~!"
Without hesitation, she strutted up to the girls and struck a dramatic, smug pose. "Ho ho ho~! Nice to meet you, new friends~! Don't be shy, now~!"
The girls looked at each other, stunned.
Jasmine whispered, "Alexis, what do we even—?"
Alexis sighed. "Just roll with it. Honestly, I don't see any downside, so why not? It might even be fun."
"Well, alright then." Mash casually removed Lovely's card from his Duel Disk and tossed it to Alexis. Lovely immediately faded into glittering particles, her hologram shutting off.
"Put her card in your Duel Disk with Projection Mode on," Mash instructed. "She'll re-materialize that way."
Alexis did as she was told. Moments later, Lovely Labrynth appeared beside them, now synced to Alexis's Duel Disk.
Lovely Labrynth doing another theatrical smug pose, "Ho ho ho ho~! Since we're all going to be friends now, just call me Labrynth, okay~?"
The girls exchanged awkward glances.
"Uh… nice to meet you, Labrynth. I'm Alexis," she said.
"I'm Mindy!"
"…Tch. Jasmine."
Labrynth clapped her hands gleefully. "Lexy, Min-Min, and Jassy~! Got it! I'll remember you gals forever~!"
"…That's not really—" Jasmine started.
"So~!" Labrynth cut in cheerfully, "What should we talk about first~?"
Alexis sighed and glanced at Mash. "Are you sure you're okay with handing over your ace monster like this?"
Mash waved her off. "It's fine. I've still got Lady Labrynth as my secondary ace. Just let her have fun."
"Oh, I will, Darling~!" Labrynth grinned, turning to her new trio of companions, who still looked like they weren't sure what they'd been forcefully signed up for. "Now~ let's go~!"
The four girls walked off together, leaving Mash behind.
[Mash POV]
I stretched my hands casually, putting my duel disk on my left hand to the side and turned the other way. "Ah... My left hand is killing me...! Why does the Duel disk is so heavy!"
A calm, composed voice echoed behind me. "It is only heavy for you, Master Mash."
Suddenly from behind me, Materialized a tall and composed woman, Dressed in a black butler uniform with blue accents. She has silver hair tied in a high ponytail alongside two curved, horn like spirals adorned on her head. A gleaming silver monocle framed the left her blue-eyes.
With one hand she holds a silver tray bearing a full tea set of silver cups and teapot, and the other tucked professionally behind her back. She also has a devil like tail with black and blue striped pattern.
"Ha ha, very funny, {Arias the Labrynth Butler}." I muttered.
"Yes. Hilarious," she said, dry as a desert. "Almost as funny as the fact you conveniently sent Madame Labrynth away, not to give her social experience, but to relieve your poor, aching left arm."
I waved dismissively as I continued down the hallway. "Aw, c'mon... That was just one of the minor reasons. The main goal was to, like you said, help her make some girl friends. Y'know, real bonding stuff. Character development."
"Hm," she replied. Her face remained unreadable. "Would you like some tea, Master Mash?"
I glanced at the tray in her hand, then at her deadpanned. "…Arias, both you and that tea set are in spirit forms. It would just phase right through me."
"Indeed," she said flatly.
I sighed and kept walking, eyes scanning for signs of Obelisk prey. None. Corridor after corridor, and not a single blue jacket in sight. Meanwhile, Arias followed behind like a graceful ghost visible only to me.
"So," I muttered, "how's the recon mission going?"
"Ariane and Arianna should be finishing up... right about now."
Right on cue, two new figures flickered into existence behind her. One looked way too excited to exist—the hyperactive Ariane, swinging around a massive silver candelabra shaped like a trident. The other, Arianna, clutched an oversized keychain and peeked out from behind her sister like she could protect her.
"Mastah-mastah!" Ariane shouted, practically vibrating. "Two Obelisk Blues sighted in the card shop! They're buying packs! Hurry, hurry, hurry! If we don't move, we'll lose them!"
"U-uhm… o-one b-blue in the l-library, M-Master M-Mash…" Arianna added shyly, barely above a whisper.
Ariane rolled her eyes. "You're too slow, Arianna! You gotta pump it up! Like me! Like meeee!"
"I-I'm sorry… I'll try…" Arianna shrank behind her keychain, clearly overwhelmed.
Arias calmly stepped aside as her two subordinates finished reporting. "There is your information, Master Mash."
I let out another long sigh.
You must be wondering what the hell is going on, huh? Here's another flashback.
[Back again at Mash dorm room - two weeks ago]
"So… in theory, I could have infinite power!" I declared with my arm spread in the air.
Lovely Labrynth tilted her head. "Huh?"
"Think about it, Lovely!" I grinned. "With the insane number of monster cards in Yu-Gi-Oh, the possibilities are endless! If this heart bond system keeps unlocking powers, then technically, technically! we could have enough power bond to rule the world!"
I paused. "…Okay, that last part was a joke. But still!"
Lovely let out a long, knowing sigh. "Darling~ you're getting ahead of yourself again~ You clearly weren't listening to everything I explained. Yes, every Duel Spirit has their own traits, but those unique powers you're talking about, the ones unlocked at six and nine hearts that also gives the duelist power? Those only exist in to cards that was crafted in your Master Duel system. And even then, they're exclusive to a very small group of 'special' monsters."
I raised a brow. "Special monsters?"
She leaned forward with a teasing smile. "Alright, here's a trivia time, Darling~ What's the something that me, Stardust Dragon, Trickstar Holly Angel, and Revendread Slayer have in common?"
I blinked. "...They all don't have the same Attribute, Type, ATK, archetype or even Summon method. So… I don't know."
"Ho ho~ How about a hint for you Darling~?" she cooed. "What happens on-screen the moment you summon one of us in Master Duel?"
Suddenly, it clicked. "Wait! You all have summoning animations!"
"Ding ding ding~!" she sang. "Correct! Only monsters that get a flashy summoning animation in Master Duel can unlock these unique hearts abilities. The rest will be just your typical lovable Duel spirits."
"That's actually… so cool!" I said, eyes sparkling. "But wait, why did Big G up there even add this feature to my system? What is this power purpose?"
Lovely shrugged. "No idea~ I was only uploaded with all the knowledge your Master Duel system can do. Anything beyond that? Outside my jurisdiction, Darling~ Maybe you can use this power as party tricks or something."
"Huh. Makes sense."
"Oh, and by the way," she added sweetly, "for monsters without a summoning animation~? You need to reach six hearts just to talk to them like a normal Duel Spirit."
"SIX HEARTS!?"
[Flashback End]
And that, folks, is why I somehow ended up hitting six hearts with Arias, Ariane, and Arianna in just two weeks and getting them to be able to communicate with me. Apparently, grinding DP with them in every duel counted as 'bonding.' No idea why all three leveled up at once because if we go by usage Arianna should have been able to communicate to me in the first, but hey, I'll take it.
Anyway, while you were busy reading that flashback and listening to my internal monologue, I've already started dueling with a random Obelisk kid.
Yup. Some Obelisk Blue kid challenged me the moment he saw me in the corridor. Didn't run, didn't flinch, and oddly enough? He looked confident. Guess he have balls of steel
Anyway so here's the situation of the duel.
{Mash LP: 4000
Blue Kid LP: 4000}
It was Turn 2 of the Obelisk Blue kid that stood across from me with the confidence of someone who clearly thought he was the protagonist.
On my field, only {Arianna the Labrynth Servant} stood in Attack Position. Four face-downs cards sat quietly behind her. In my Graveyard there is one {Big Welcome Labrynth}, and one {Labrynth Cooclock}. And in my hand is Just one card.
"Nyehehehe!" the kid cackled, pushing up his glasses. "Oh, Mash… you don't even know it yet, but I've built the ultimate counter to your deck! And today, my hand is perfect! Prepare to lose!"
Arianna turned to me, worried. "Master Mash..."
I, meanwhile, was laying on the floor sideways with a bored expression.
"Don't be intimidated by this weevil looking ahh kid, Arianna," I said flatly.
"Nyehehe!" the kid continued, undeterred. "You and your talking monsters should quake in fear! First, I summon {Horn Imp} in Attack Position!"
A tiny brown imp appeared on the field, he has a pointy horn sticking out of its head.
{Horn Imp|4 star|Dark|Fiend/Normal|ATK: 1300 DEF:1000}
I raised a brow. "See, Arianna? He summoned a monster that's literally weaker than you."
"HEY! Don't underestimate me yet!" he shouted. "Because I activate the spell card {Double Summon}! Allowing me to Normal Summon again! And now, I'll tribute my Horn Imp... to summon my ultimate trump card to your deck! {Jinzo}!"
A shockwave rippled across the field as the imposing metallic figure of Jinzo emerged.
{Jinzo|6 star|Dark|Machine/effect|ATK:2400 DEF:1500}
"Nyehehehe! With Jinzo on the field, all Trap Cards on the field is negated and cannot be activated!"
Arianna flinched. "Oh no, Master Mash… our traps… are useless...!
I didn't react. I didn't even blink.[This is like... the fourth Jinzo deck I've faced this month. They all think they're so fucking clever, huh?]
"Battle Phase!" he yelled. "Jinzo, attack that puny girl!"
Jinzo charged a blast of psychic energy in his palms and fired it at Arianna. But just before it landed, she shimmered in gold and vanished into light, flying back into my hand.
"Sorry," I said lazily. "By banishing {Big Welcome Labrynth} from my Graveyard, I can return a Fiend monster I control to my hand. So obviously, I choose Arianna." [But if I have a level 8 Fiend Monster on my field I can instead return any card on the field.]
Arianna reappeared behind me in spirit form. "Thank you, Master Mash..."
The Obelisk kid growled. "Tch! Then I'll just attack you directly instead! Go, Jinzo!"
The purple blast hit me square in the chest but I didn't even flinch.
{Mash LP: 4000 -> 1600}
"Nyehehehe! I actually got to damage the Trap King! I end my turn!"
I let out a deep sigh, {What a dumbass these so called 'Duelist' of this world that isn't the main characters. Really? You're just putting a 2400 monster without no protection or backrow? Ugh... How many times do I have to teach you these lesson, fucking kids.}
I drew my next card with a single, bored flick of the wrist, then looked at it—and smirked.
"Why are you smiling like that!?" the kid snapped.
"Because you're about to learn why they call me the Three-Turn Quick Shot," I said, rising from the floor.
"I send {Arias the Labrynth Servant} from my hand to the Graveyard to activate her effect!" I declared, sliding the card into the Graveyard in my Duel Disk. "Now, I can either set a Trap or Special Summon a 'Labrynth' monster from my hand, and guess what? I choose to summon!"
A massive silver door rose on the field, and then stepped in Arias as she grabs the Silver door handles, and opening the door with a graceful bow.
"And the one I'll special summon will be {Lady Labrynth of the SIlver Castle} in attack position!" I put the card to my Duel Disk.
"Come forth... {Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle}!"
A storm of silver swirled through the room as another version of my queen appeared from the door, armored in elegance, and wielding duel silver rapiers. She locked eyes with Jinzo and smirked.
{Lady Labrynth of the Silver castle|8 star|Dark|Fiend/Effect|ATK:3000 DEF:2900}
"Th-th-three... THREE THOUSAND ATTACK!?" the Obelisk kid stammered. "That's the same as Blue-Eyes White Dragon! And you summoned her that easily!?"
The crowd around us started whispering.
"Woah… she looks just like Lovely Labrynth!"
"A second Silver Queen?!"
I ignored them all and slid another card into my Duel Disk. "I'll also Normal Summon Arianna and I'll skip her effect. As this duel's already over."
Arianna appeared once more, gripping her oversized keychain, "Lets go..."
{Arianna the Labrynth Servant|4 star|dark|fiend/effect|atk:1600 def:2100}
The Obelisk kid was sweating now.
"Battle Phase!" I declared. "Go, Lady Labrynth—take out Jinzo!"
Lady Labrynth dashed forward, slicing through Jinzo in a blur of silver. The impact shattered the metal menace into hologram dust.
{Kid LP: 4000 -> 3600}
"Ugh! Y-you may have destroyed Jinzo… but that other weak monster won't finish me off!"
I smirked. "I know. But she will."
"Huh!?"
One of my face-down cards flipped open.
"I activate {Welcome Labrynth}! It lets me Special Summon a 'Labrynth' monster from my Deck!"
A second silver door erupted onto the field, and from it emerged a second {Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle}.
{Lady Labrynth of the Silver castle|8 star|Dark|Fiend/Effect|ATK:3000 DEF:2900}
"Ah… ahhh… AHHHH!!"
"Let's finish this! Go! Arianna and Lady Labrynth attack directly!"
Arianna's pulled out a key from her large keychain then it turned into a dagger as she rushed in alongside both rapiers from Lady Labrynth. Together, they delivered a clean, surgical, stab in the kid chest.
"AHHHHHH!!"
{Kid LP: 3600 -> 0}
After the field started to turn into hologram particles and the kid fall down like a cartoon character. I immediately check my PDA.
{CongratulationMash for winning against Kid, you've been rewarded 300 DP alongside I-bounty:207 -> 210}
[Yosh... Only a little bit more until my bounty go around Zane's]
Suddenly, Arias materialized behind me in spirit form, perfectly composed.
"Master Mash, there's a black-haired Obelisk hiding in the corner, watching you. Would you like to duel him?"
I looked in the direction she mentioned.
Then sighed.
"Ignore him."

Hello everyone, IG here!
I am so fucking tired... This chapter alone is already 5000 words long.
And also yes I'm sorry if most of this chapter are just info dumping. I swear I fucking hate this as there is still 1 more info dumping chapter.
Why you might ask? To make a solid foundation of course so that I don't need to explain further in the later chapter.
I swear I won't ever do something like this again (I hope). as I also find it boring.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed reading it. Chiao!
Also I dont even bother seaching for mistakes because its 1 AM rn for me. I'll go to sleep now. Chiao! 2x
