"Are you okay, Kira?"
When Laxus left, everyone quickly gathered around him and Mirajane.
"What's wrong with me?"
"Sorry for that..."
If anyone was most guilty, it was Makarov, the grandfather of Laxus.
"It's fine." Kira was speechless. "Did he do anything to me? No, right? That's what's important." He didn't think that Laxus did anything; instead, he felt that Laxus was just a tsundere, and with the experience in his past life, he had seen many that were more infuriating than Laxus.
However, unlike before when Kira could only swallow his anger and continued to smile as if nothing had happened, in this world, if Laxus really pushed too hard, Kira would fight back since he had the power to do so.
"..."
Watching how mature Kira was, all of them felt even more annoyed by Laxus. In this place, everyone owed Kira more or less, especially when Fairy Tail's reputation had become higher and had more jobs due to him.
"You really are different..."
If Kira were his real grandson, how wonderful it would be?
Makarov sighed, thinking about how messed up his family was; whether it was his son or grandson, all of them were just... not right. If there was something fortunate, it was the fact that everyone in Fairy Tail was someone that he could rely on—
No, wait!
Makarov realised that of all the members of Fairy Tail, none of them were worry-free!
All of them always caused trouble or another!
Yet, at least, everything was quiet after Laxus' confrontation with Kira.
"So, that's your grandson, Master?" Kira asked.
"Yes." Makarov nodded and said, "Laxus Dreyar. That's my grandson." When he introduced his grandson, he didn't appear proud despite how strong Laxus was.
"That Laxus bastard! I will beat him! Also, I will be an S-Class mage!"
Along with Natsu's roar, Makarov beat this silly boy again. "Stop it! You can't go to the 2nd floor!"
Watching how Makarov enlarged his fist so smoothly, like it was made of rubber, Kira had to say the Giant Magic was as great as ever. It was simple, yet due to how simple it was, it was powerful.
Yet, Kira noticed the light in Natsu's eyes didn't seem to subside, and he could tell that this guy hadn't given up at all.
No, if Natsu gave up, then would he still be a protagonist?
"So, what's wrong? Why did the situation become tense?"
When Kira asked so, he looked at Lucy, who appeared awkward, and Cana, who was as drunk as ever.
"Natsu wanted to go to the 2nd floor."
"Is it wrong to do that?"
"Only an S-Rank mage can go to the 2nd floor." Cana somehow showed a bitterness on her face, then glanced at Mirajane, who stood next to Kira. "Your girlfriend is an S-Class Mage, you know?"
Kira subconsciously looked at Mirajane, who smiled and said, "See? I am powerful~!"
"But I defeated you."
Mirajane blushed and lightly hit his shoulder. "Shh! Don't say that in public!"
"...." Everyone.
While Kira and Mirajane weren't clear with their words, they had a feeling that Kira... he... he had...
"UWAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
"I-I am not feeling good... I-I want to go home..."
"Goodbye... please don't forget about me..."
Lucy felt her eyes were wet somehow, but fortunately, Cana was by her side.
"Here."
"T-Thanks, Cana..."
As Cana kindly gave her a tissue, Lucy wiped her tears.
Only Erza had a conflicted expression, but then again, Makarov became even more conflicted, wondering why Kira couldn't be his grandson. If Laxus were like Kira, then at this moment, he was sure that he would be holding and carrying his great-grandchildren, which somehow made him also cry since the most beautiful flower on the Fairy Tail had its owner.
"So, the S-Class Mage is like the most powerful mage?"
Still, Kira tried to change the focus forcefully, which made them roll their eyes.
"Yes, are you interested?" Makarov looked at Kira, wondering whether this guy was interested in becoming an S-Class Mage. Among all the mages, he felt that the fastest person, who could become the S-Class Mage, was definitely Kira, since not only was Kira strong, but he was also smart, clearly resourceful, and calm.
If there was something that made Kira weaker, it would be his Magic Power, since while it wasn't bad, it wasn't at an exceptional level.
However, as long as Kira trained hard, Makarov was sure that Kira would reach him, or even go further.
"No."
"No?!"
They were surprised by his answer.
"Really?"
"Yup." Kira nodded. "I like easy, simple quests where I have 100% confidence that I can complete them without any danger."
Instead of enduring himself, then having been killed due to a dangerous quest, it was better not to do it at all, especially when he had many ways to make money.
If the situation forced him to, Kira could become a magic item creator since with his "Projection Magecraft," he could learn the ins and outs of the item, then copy and make it on his own.
If there was a problem, a copyright existed, so it was a little troublesome, but as long as he could pass it, everything was okay.
Regardless, his answer made them feel strange, especially when his figure, which often forced him to save his comrades, was clearly remembered by them.
Whether it was Loke, Erza, Lucy, and everyone, Kira's figure that fell as he bled all over his body was still vivid after he tried to save Loke at that time, so when he said that he loved to have a safe and easy quest, they felt quite confused.
"You don't have any dreams," Cana said with a mocking tone.
"Well, I have someone who will be sad and waiting for me at home now. I can't be as reckless as before, right?"
As Kira said, he held Mirajane's hand softly, which made her show a soft and gentle expression. "Kira..."
Love. Love. Love.
Somehow, Mirajane wanted to pick Kira up from the hotel again now.
Only Lucy clung to Cana tightly, hiding away her tears as it was so hurt!
"In other words, once you have the confidence to become an S-Class Mage, you will go for it?" Makarov asked.
Kira stared at Makarov, who could tell what he was thinking. "Yes."
He might not have enough Magic Power present, but in the future, it might be different as he continues to train himself.
Still, if possible, he wanted to grow as powerful as possible since being weak just gave him an insecurity.
Money and Power.
Money aside, if Kira didn't have the power to protect his wealth, then what was the point of working hard now?
At the same time, if Laxus really tried to pick a fight with him, Kira knew that his chances of winning would be difficult, especially since he could tell how powerful Laxus was.
Lightning Magic.
It might be a simple magic, and one of the elemental magics that existed in this world, but when a skillful, talented, and someone with a gigantic Magic Power wielded it, the result would be different.
'Magic Power...'
Somehow, Kira wanted to improve it as soon as possible, but fortunately, it seemed that due to the trouble Natsu might cause soon, he would have a chance to do it.
