Morning Encounter
The sun had barely risen, casting a soft golden glow over the city. The streets were still quiet, except for the rhythmic sound of footsteps hitting the pavement.
Rika had just stepped out of her new home, still adjusting to the unfamiliar neighborhood, when she spotted a familiar figure jogging past her.
Shun.
Dressed in his usual sportswear, sweat dripping down his forehead, his focus was sharp. He was completely in the zone, lost in his training.
Rika hesitated.
For a brief moment, she thought about calling out to him—maybe even surprising him. But then…
"Wait… does he even know yet?"
Her transfer had been sudden, and she doubted he had any idea they would be in the same school… or even the same class.
A small smirk played on her lips.
"Guess I'll let him find out the fun way."
So instead of calling out, she watched as he continued down the street, disappearing into the distance.
Fukura High – The Transfer Student's Arrival
Rika stepped into the gates of Fukura High, adjusting her bag as she took in the sight of her new school.
The moment she walked past the entrance, whispers spread like wildfire.
🔹 "Hey, who's that?"
🔹 "A new girl?!"
🔹 "Wait, she's kinda cute…"
🔹 "I swear I've seen her somewhere before…"
Some of the boys in the hallway completely froze, watching in awe as she walked past them.
One guy even tripped over his own feet, causing his friend to facepalm.
🔹 "Bro… get a hold of yourself!"
Rika, used to being stared at during soccer tournaments, ignored them all.
But little did she know… the real fun was about to start in the classroom.
Shun's Class – The Unexpected Surprise
Shun sat at his desk, leaning back on his chair as he half-heartedly listened to the morning chatter of his classmates.
His focus was still on soccer, already planning his next training routine.
Then—
"Alright, class, settle down. We have a new transfer student joining us today."
The teacher's words snapped him out of his thoughts.
Shun didn't think much of it—until he looked up.
And there she was.
Rika stood at the front of the classroom, her usual confident expression in place as she introduced herself.
"I'm Rika Aizawa. Nice to meet you all."
A beat of silence.
Then—
Chaos.
🔹 "WAIT, SHE'S OUR CLASSMATE?!"
🔹 "SHE'S SO COOL!"
🔹 "ISN'T SHE FROM THE NATIONAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT?!"
🔹 "BRO, I THINK I'M IN LOVE!"
Even some of the soccer club members in the class were whispering among themselves.
Meanwhile, Shun just sat there, completely frozen.
His brain took a second to process reality.
"No way. No. Freaking. Way."
His eyes met Rika's.
And what did she do?
She smirked.
Rika tilted her head slightly as if saying, "Surprised?"
Shun exhaled through his nose, rubbing his temple.
"This is gonna be a long school year."
And just like that…
The rivalry that started on the soccer field was about to get a whole lot more interesting.
