Derrick's POV
It had been two days since I gave in and agreed to marry Quinn. Two days since I decided to be forced into a marriage I wanted nothing to do with. These past two days have been hell. I have been putting up with Kendrick and his issues and allowing him to control how he wanted the wedding.
His daughter chipped in a few times, and during those times, she requested my opinion. It was quite ballsy for her to ask for my opinion knowing damn well I wanted nothing to do with this wedding.
In addition to that, he has refused to leave. He opted out of the idea of getting a hotel close by to stay in for the meantime. All he wanted was to be close to his daughter, to be able to control what would happen and the guests he wanted.
He pricked a part of my skin that I never thought existed, annoying me in so many ways that made me lose my mind. There was no way he had no idea he was acting this way. I had good reason to believe that he was doing all of this on purpose.
