As she struggled to sit up, Anna realized she was in a small, dimly lit room. The walls were made of concrete, and the air was musty.
A figure stood in the corner of the room, watching Anna with an unreadable expression. Anna's heart skipped a beat as she recognized the woman who had pulled her out of the alley.
"Where am I?" Anna demanded, trying to keep her voice steady.
