Gia's POV
"Are you okay?" He asked immediately I stepped outside the bathroom. His eyes showing worry.
I forced a bright smile on my face.
"Sure, why wouldn't I be" I answered him, my eyes voice evasive. Telling him to drop it when his narrowed at me. He must have heard me crying in the bathroom. But I can't. He already took a lot of my burden. He got dragged into this mess because of me and now he is here.
"We are going home today" he announced as he tucked me into the bed. Helping me settle careful not to jostle my injury.
"Is that okay?" I am sick of the hospital too but I know how long it takes to heal before I can leave the hospital.
"Yeah, I made it happen. I am sure you are sick of the hospital too"
I wanted to argue that hospitals don't work that way but I know how rich and powerful he is. And I am truly sick of the hospital and it is giving me so much anxiety that I am not doing anything and my brother has still not been found.
