It was the morning of the next day.
Sunlight filtered softly through the windows as Abigail sat on the edge of her bed, sipping warm tea.
The night had been quiet maybe too quiet but the weight in her chest hadn't lifted, She had barely slept still thinking about what happened yesterday.

It was her lawyer, Without wasting a second, Abigail answered.
She didn't even greet him.
"Any news?" she asked quickly, voice tight with urgency.
"I've been anxiously waiting. Anything at all?"

Then came the sound of a quiet sigh on the other end.
Her lawyer a seasoned man who rarely showed emotion shook his head, even though she couldn't see it.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice low and disappointed.
