Part 3: The Fours Potentate
[Somewhere in the World Border]
World Border, a place where human souls come to make a contract. An agreement before sending of into otherworld, in which upon arrive they become a Hero, Villain, Monster and more. But… this isn't the story about them… but me…
I once, have a name that have been forgotten. But some, has call me the "contractor", and a "Monster". Thankfully, for all this year despite living in a place no one should've been. My memory has been keeping me together. Indeed, some say living in a place of nothingness can made them insane. But I've worked in this border for thousand, or more…
Time in World Border is slower than otherworld, but faster than Earth. Yet something was missing…
'So many years has pass… The year sentence I've long waited, has pass for a long time... Why, must I suffer to see them having entertainment and enjoyment?' as I looked at the soul of a human that made me remember the day, I once wanted to escape my own world. Yet… the word of the judge of the judge, still hunt me to these days…
"You, have caused many deaths to the Guardians! and broke the laws of the world! And thus, thou punishment will be the death sentence" said the judge in the court with those blurry face, same with the jury....
Smiling, Liked this was an entertainment, watching as they laugh seeing as someone was accused for defending they world that they dearly love to died...
'Law of the world… No, this law isn't a law. But corrupted…' but as i thought this will be the last moment, i was saved by someone.
Although, i didn't see the figure but. I heard the voice, a woman voice. "It maybe too far, but i may have a good used for him" as she said it to the judge. But of course, the jury was furious by the sudden interupted of they entertainment.
"I see, than what is your suggestion, Miss ???" but of course, i didn't heard her name and his ideas. However, i do heard one thing she said. "How about let him work with me for 15 years?"
But of course, it was a lie... those 15 years wasn't a years at all, but eternity...
Even so, i can't die for old age, the mana I mandatory uses is decreasing each time I've made an agreement and having to use it to see something. As for my eyes… is gone. Vanish.
my own face, is just a mouth, eyebrows, a nose, ears. While, my skin had become whiter to adapt this place… I supposed, I have become somewhat a human monster. Unfortunately, this brownish suit and a brownish fedora hat has been with me for the first day, I've work here.
But thankfully, my blondie hair didn't get the effect for staying here too long. Yet, every time I take out the picture I dearly protect for the suit pocket. It made me wonder, did I fail the promise I made with her? Can I still meet her in this form? Did she survive…?
Nevertheless, the outcome I've made cannot be change anymore… But as the time goes by, and the same thing I've been doing has make me bored, mad, and insane. 'I… am a human too…'
All I want to see something, ate something, drink something, felt the sense of freedom, and see my beloved one… but the courage I have isn't enough to made a rift to earth. In which, where she lived now…
And so, I began to duplicate myself that made me lose half of my mana to made the clone to do all the work. Without, any emotion or sense before I walk far away until that devilish place is gone…
It took me 5 hours walking approximately 20 miles away without stopping. As in this place, you won't be thirst or hungry. As I looked behind my back to see the place was fully gone for my sight. Thus, I've started to make a plan.
Every way, to get more mana and find a way to get to Earth. 'Where do I get more mana…?' Seeing what left of my mana that produce by the aura won't be enough to made a rift to earth but could easily made rift to otherworld. 'I supposed, finding some otherworldly people could benefit me'
As I open a screen window in front of me, that could view each world and its people. With this many worlds, finding one that could be Manipulate easily would be impossible. Moreover, finding each one with each world would take trillion or more. And so, I started to pick randomly and hopefully… I found one that easily be my loyal puppet.

10 Hours later…
"At last, … I have found one!" oh, how I have endure viewing so many worlds that my non-existence eyes could bleed. 'Loid Arbigor… What an interesting otherworldly human, you are…' seeing as its status called him a war hero. Yet, with his image seem as a poor homeless man. Made me wonder…
Did he lose something? Or maybe… failed to protect? With that question in mind, i used [World Summon] to summon him into world border. As the ability doing its work, I use my fake smile to deceive him. At last, with him finally summon for otherworld across world border. I stop smiling as I looked at him, Defeated…
It's strange… very strange… it seems as he was tying the rope on his neck. But I figured it out, that he was about to go suicide before he was suddenly summoned here. With the black expression for his face, it made me wonder… what could make a man, lead them to do something like this? 'Suicidal… what reason? That could make him to do this?'
I snapped my finger a lot, to see if he still alive in that blank, dead expression. "You still there?" yet, only silent. With this confused problem needed to solve, I wonder…
'Perhaps, they are a way to solve this problem!' And so, a bright light was seen by loid. With a hand extending for the light. "Come, there is more way to solve it…" as Loid opened his eyes wides to see a figure. A humanoid figure, extending his hand with a soft, kind smile. 'Angel…?' as he looked at it again, to see a man in a brown suit kindly smile. "Live, war hero… they are a way to safe your people. Your country…"
With the light inside the border, and the act of a kind man. With my shadow covering him for the bright light. Loid extending his hand toward his hand, and tried his best to stand up. Once he stood up, Loid looked at him, false smile. Yet, He doesn't know that he was being deceive, manipulate by him…
"I… a war hero… What's way can I safe my people for the corruption…?" with his blank expression slowly disappearing. The brown suit man, knew, his plan worked pretty well. "They are a way…"
"Lead your people, made a new war heroes, and revolt the corruption…"
As loid heard what the man has spoken, he was very shock to hear it. With this plan of the man, he maybe… could finally protect the people. But of course, this kind of plan is insane or to say the least. Not suited for Loid…
"But I can't… I failed to protect my country. How can I embrace, motivate, and lead the people that hated me for losing the country I dearly love to the corruption?"
"That easy, Lie, Deceive, and made your own ideology…"
"B-but, a good leader doesn't this kind of thing--"
"How long will they survive? Haven't you seen what your world has become? The good people you've thought will safe your world, is just a lie to deceive the people like you…"
Loid looked at his palm with disappointed, his eyes began to shake as he remembers the war he has to fought with his friend that died in the war. "Cough… please… protect the people…" was the last thing Loid heard for his friend that he picks up for the ground… the last one to say the least that survive long enough with him before having a miserable death…
'No…' as Loid starts to remember the after the war seeing as the new corrupted leader elected the new war heroes as he said. "These heroes, is the strongest, the smartest, war heroes you'd ever seen! These heroes will defend! Protect! This country better than the old one! It's time to celebrate everyone! To the new era!"
As the crowd of people celebrate, Loid was seen inside the crowd as he hides his face in the hoodie. He was irritated, and wrath. Yet, he kept containing it, even when the people celebrate the new heroes. 'Unforgiving!' as he remembers the friend, and the soldier who died in the war to protect this country.
Once loid finally snapped for his memories, he looked at him with revenge that needed to fulfil. "I'll use your plan. But, what which do you want me to fulfil…?"
"OH! Seem like someone has finally awake! But of course, I want you to fulfil something…" the man gave him the mysterious black box. "I want you to collect all the mana stone you can get…"
With that, they conversation has ended. As the Man opened the rift, Loid was amazed by his ability. An ability that was able to create his own rift…
Seeing as his world image, Loid was understandingly furious. As he walked toward the rift, he looked back at the man. "Thank you, for giving me another change…" before walking inside the rift, before the rift disappearing.
His fake smile began to slowly disappear, as he seats on the ground. Waiting… He thought to himself. '2 more puppet left needed…'

'Huh… I should've note myself, not to be greedy…" seeing as the Mana stone has been exported by his puppet, seem… to be, too much. 'I supposed, this would great time extract the Mana' as he stretches his body, before starting to extract the Mana.
As he takes 1 Stone of the many, He look at the Mana that been contain by the stone. 'Magnificent…' with that, he clenches the stone with his arm. Suddenly, the mana that been contain by the stone, began to be absorb by him.
'Ah… This feel… How I've been miss you!' The feel of satisfaction has made him felt the sense of pleasure. As he smiles by the pleasure, he snapped back to reality forgetting to extract the thousand or million.
He places his hand toward the many mana stone they have collect, and began to absorb all the mana that been contain by it. Yet again, the smile of satisfaction has felt more stronger as he has absorbed Thousand, Millions of mana in one day. But of course, he can't control his movement. As absorbing too much mana has made him, Drunk.
'Oh… this pleasure has made me more determined to be on Earth!' as he dances a bit, before passing to the ground.
But He hasn't yet realised… his loyal puppet was fighting for his life, as his country has been destroyed with the heroes he has chosen been killed by the otherworld hero, before dying for being beheaded by the heroes in the rains with the city he has built. Destroyed until rubbles, debris of his city.
By the time he woke up, he was met by the screen saying. [Loid Arbigor has been killed by the heroes]
"Huh" it was very sudden, seeing my 1 of the 3 puppet was killed made me realised something…
'So, the so-called heroes have killed my puppet? What a fool…' without doubt, I'll have to force myself to use [Resurrection] even thought this would cost me a lot of mana.
The circle of magic began to appear for the ground; The soul appears with his body and suit that generate so fast. But of course, he wasn't happy.
"Sigh, you've cost me my mana than the other has…"
"Heh… yet, you'd still used it." As loid laugh happily, seeing as he has matured than the first time they've met wasn't something he jealous of. But loid clothing, seeing as his been wearing the same suit made him envy of the blackish suit that's Loid wearing.
But it's not the time for him to be jealous. seeing as loid finally done laughing, he smiles and said to him.
"It's maybe is the time to tell you this…"
"And that is?"
"How about we invade they world?" as the man smiled, Loid hasn't yet to understand what he meant by "they"
"They?"
"Hahahaha! Indeed, the otherworld hasn't yet realised where all the heroes came from! I am very disappointing with you, Smart, but… hasn't yet realised it."
As the man appear behind Loid, he thought to himself. 'What is he talking about?' as loid looked at the man behind his back. "Tell me, what kind of delusional thing that I haven't realised yet?" seeing as the man grin mischievously, the man seems to be enjoying this conversation…
"Oh… How hurt I am… Don't you see? All of those hero you fought and died to, appear because I am here…" with that, he shapes his right hand into a very sharp, and purplish sword, as he moves his hand toward him. "So, you meant to say, you were the one that caused it?"
"No, no… I am just a worker, I meant to say is… they world is very special"
"Very special?"
The man walks forward for behind as he stops, and stood in front of Loid. "You see, they world is protected by the people that's I called the upper people. Between us and otherworld, this world is more care, love, protected by them. Even when they died, they still be transmigrated or worse… reincarnated into your world… the otherworld…"
"But worse of all… I was force by them to send this people into otherworld…" he looked back at loid that was shock for understanding what's it all meant. The man extended his right hand as he said. "Join me… join with the other two to destroyed they world and end this suffering and madness they've done to us…"
Loid thought to himself for a bit, but extend his left hand to the man right hand. "You've help me a lot, it would be a waste if I didn't join"
Seeing as loid has agreed to join, he starts to used his ability [World Summon] to summon the other two leaders. With that, the magic circle appears and slowly regenerate they body as the man smile.
As it complete, the man walks toward them as he looked at them and smiled, as he said. "Welcome back! Now, let us start our first meeting! Potentate's!"
