Amelia had just sat down in her office when Caroline knocked on the door and entered, holding a brown folder in her hands. "Morning, Amelia," Caroline greeted cheerfully, though the mischievous glint in her eyes was impossible to miss. "You slept in that greenhouse again, didn't you?" she asked, trying to hold back a smile.
Amelia raised an eyebrow while sipping her coffee. "Can we skip that part and get straight to business?"
Caroline chuckled lightly, then handed the folder to Amelia. "Alright, dear Miss Professional. This is a work visit letter from Dominic. You're scheduled to join him for the next three days on a trip to Catalina Island to visit an eco-resort project funded by Japanese investors. There will also be presentations and an on-site review."
Amelia opened the folder and scanned through the documents quickly. Her brows furrowed. "I wasn't assigned to the eco-resort team. This is another division's project, isn't it? Did you read it wrong?"
