While traveling back to our base, we shared the details of our plan with ach and Leo. Both of them were visibly surprised by our decision, exchanging quick glances that clearly reflected their initial doubt. But once we laid out the plan in detail—explaining every reason, every precaution, and every backup measure—they slowly came around.
"So… how do you think the town people will take this?" Leo finally asked, his voice thoughtful as he stared out the window, the snow-covered path blurring past.
I shrugged slightly. "Honestly, I don't think they have a choice. Their supplies are running low, and we're offering them a golden opportunity—a real chance to survive the winter, maybe even the months ahead."
"You're right," ach said, nodding, "but we also have to be cautious. Not everyone sees goodwill for what it is. Some people will still try to twist it into an opportunity for themselves."
