Chapter 1 - Prologue - World's Impact

The AS-36 Courts announced their ruling on previously rumored interspace lockdown's from other nearby planets. A now smashing reality hitting the innocent citizens and voiding their planet of outer-galactic interaction.

A planetary shutdown.

Efforts to limit overconsumption and high crime have failed, and have only coated in a dark, tar-splattered stain upon the planets 36 compounds within.

CD-36 was the largest of planet Artvain, and was the most stained of all. The smoke from the economic impacts on the outer levels of Torsten raised the worry of those within the it's inner-most region. The smog amongst them like a citizen clouded the world around them. It was as if they were trapped within the black fog.

As for now?

The smog of the men who run their world is covering them darker than tar. A thick layer that nothing and no one will be able to scrub clean, a world of pure, voidful filth.

CD 36 was focused on the production of treatable gasses that remained liable for inter-zone transportation, power, and the multitude of functions needed for the planet to keep up with its inhabitants.

Artvain itself was known galaxy-wide as the robotic planet, a planet built on factory smoke, smog, and oil.

Being born on Artvain was a life lived in pools of oil and smog-striked lungs. A world of brass, metal, and rust meeting you at every corner, doorway, and entrance. A city of sin, and filth.

CD- 36 was the center for the planet-wide decisions, despite its dire state of pollutants and airborne contamination. The Artvairan Commission Building was the city center. A stark white building in which the sleazes of Artvain politic's loosely connect the citizens to the trans-galactic council. The inside walls were large and white, and textureless. They were all large, sterile walls like an ICU ward. It was overwhelming with the same dread a place of struggle and death contains.

The building contained a few offices for the middle class office workers, bare- closets, and tight-locked storage areas, but mostly consisted of one political court where all final decisions were made. Final decisions that were well known by locals to alter their very reality one year to the next, hence why Rina quasar found herself outside the most regally negative building in all of Artvia..
