Chapter 28 - Chapter 28

Cashew was Scoffing down the Dragon Meat. He felt like he was about to explode, but he was trusting the Old Mans words. Wanting to get as much benefits as he could.

As well as Cashews stomach feeling like it's gonna explode, Cashew can't quite explain it, but it also feels like his Mana pool is getting larger.

Cashew has only forced himself to eat about 50% of what was left of the dragon meat so far, and now he's in pain, it feels like his stomach is actually ripping open, but the regeneration he is gaining from the Dragon Meat is repairing the stomach tears. Cashews head also feels like he has an axe in it, his heart is beating faster, if he has to guess, at least 400 beats per minute,Cashew felt like he was suffering, but he continued to scoff down the dragon meat.

As he ate more and more, his stomache started to rip more and more as well as heal itself up faster and faster, he even felt his ribcage start to crack from all the expanding only to be healed up just as fast as it breaks.

20% of the dragon meat was left, Cashew shovedit in his mouth, chewed it and swallowed. He was done with eating the dragon meat, but he still felt like he was gonna explode.

Letting our some groans of pain, Cashew did explode. His stomach burst open, shooting his intestines and fragments of his stomach outwards, only for his intestines and stomach to repair itself rather quickly, once Cashews stomach repaired itself from exploding, it exploded again, then repaired itself.

This continued on for an hour. Cashew has long lost consciousness from the pain of his stomach constantly exploding and healing itself up immediately.

What's strange is, the Dragon Meat wasn't in his stomach. It wasn't blasted away the first time his stomach exploded, it was never inside of him, as if he digested it completely by then.

Waking up covered in sweat and tears in his Eyes, Cashews stomach finally stopped exploding and he could somewhat move again. There were several different small animal carcasses surrounding him. The Old Man seemed right. It seemed like those creatures came here to try and eat Cashew, but his stomach exploding caused those animals to die while trying. There were several dead wolves missing their heads, some boars with their jaws blown off and faces mutilated, even a few greedy foxes that were blown away and killed in their greed.

Cashew found it strange that he recognized all the animals that came, though.

Cashew stood up slowly before falling down again, his head still feels like he has an axe in it.

Wanting to distract himself, Cashew started working on Marking the stone with the Runes to turn it into a Golem.

At Cashews Cabin, Rognil has just shown up not seeing Cashew outside, so he approached the door, but right before he reached the steps, he stepped on the Poison Rune Cashew had drawn before he went to the village, finding himself enveloped in Poisonous smoke, inhaling it by accident and falling to the ground, crying tears and Vomiting blood, dying a slow and painful death which Cashew doesn't notice because he was unconscious at this point, so he doesn't notice the sudden use of Mana.

21 Hours. It took Cashew 21 Hours to Carve the Runes onto the stone. When Cashew finished on one side and rolled the stone over to work on the other side, he found that the other side of the stone was dirty and Cast a Water Ball spell to dry and clean the stone, only for the water to wipe off some of the runes he already started drawing on the stone. Cashew got angry over this, but getting angry made his head hurt, so Cashew had to start over.

21 Hours to draw all those Runes onto the Stone. Cashew was finally ready. He didn't know if he had enough Mana to do it, but he had to try.

Cashew Rolled the stone onto the side he drew the connection Rune and placed his hand into it, he took a deep breath and started pouring Mana into the stone.

As he poured Mana into the Rune, all of the other Runes, which were drawn onto the Stone with a charcoal pencil, started to glow blue, imprinting itself into the stone, Cashew then realized if he messed up, he'd have to find a new stone the use for this. Cashew didn't think he could do that. He wasn't sure he had the willpower to look for another stone and spend almost an entire day drawing Runes on it.

Cashew watched the Runes all start to change to blue, he had a tear in his eye, afraid that the Runes might be messed up somewhere and he'd have to start over.

After about 3 minutes, The Runes started to glow even brighter before stabilizing at a dim blue hue. Cashew pulled his hand away slowly and the hue remained.

Cashew: Did... Did it work?

...

Wondering what was taking him so long, Stilh and some other guards headed towards Cashews Cabin, wondering what was taking Rognil so long, what they didn't expect was to reach the house and find Rognil dead on the ground, looking the same as the Robber did, bloodshot eyes, Insides on the ground near his mouth, Dead.

Stilh rushed towards Rognils side, checking for a pulse, he didn't need to check for a pulse, it's obvious Rognil is dead from just looking, But he still needed to check, just in case.

Stilh Sighed and told one of the guards to head back to the Village and bring the Donkey and Cart, as well as a Clay pot for Rognils insides. Stilh Gently closed Rognils eyes, silently Cursing the kid who refused to name himself.

Cashew now had a stone full of Mana that could now be turned into a Golem, but now he needed to figure out how.

Pulling out the Golem Construction Spellbook, Cashew Skimmed through the pages, looking for a guide on how to activate the Golem.

Cashew: Like this?...

Cashew found a page in the spellbook and Chanted a phrase in a language he didn't understand, launching Ball of Mana at the stone, specifically, the Connection Rune.

After a few moments, the Rock began to shake, the book says to inject more Mana into the rock when it begins to shake, which is exactly what Cashew did. He crouched down and placed his palm on the Connection Rune, injecting more Mana into it.

The Rock didn't stop asking for more. It had been 5 minutes and the Rock is still sucking more Mana from Cashew.

Something Cashew noticed was as soon as he started injecting Mana into the Rock, other Rocks and boulders started dragging themselves closer to the one Cashew is injecting Mana into.

Cashew feels like he is running out of Mana, the Golem has a decent amount of body now. His Torso is complete, he has a head, his arms are formed, and his legs are formed up to its knees,

Cashew feels like he is about to suffer Mana Exhaustion soon, but he suddenly remembered the Mana Crystal he has that's full of his own Mana, he grabbed it out of his bag and started sucking it's Mana out of the Mana Crystal and injecting it into the Golem instead.

The final Stones have been sucked in and formed the Stone Golem. Cashew can finally stop injecting Mana into it and he backed away, admiring his new creation.

The Stone Golem was about 3 Meters tall, had 2 pebbles forming eyes that glowed Blue, it seemed to have no neck and the Core was on its back, completely covered by other Rocks and stones, but Cashew realized that the Stone Golem would reveal its core if Cashew asked.

Cashew: Stone Golem. Raise your left Hand.

The stone Golem Raised its Left Hand.

Cashew: Stone Golem. Lower your left hand and raise your right hand.

The Stone Golem lowered its Left hand and Raised its right Hand.

Cashew: Stone Golem. Lower your right Hand.

The Stone Golem lowered its Right hand.

Cashew: Stone Golem. Raise your Left hand if you recognize me as your master.

The Stone Golem Raised its Left Hand.

Cashew: Good. Those Questions were to test your intelligence. Lower your hand and follow me.

Cashew started to walk away and the Stone Golem did exactly as it was told. Lowered its hand and followed Cashew.

Cashew Headed back home, unaware of the type of things that have happened while he was gone.

Stilh was angry with Cashew. Cashew wasn't at the house and he couldn't stay at the house and wait for Cashew to come back, so he reluctantly followed the other guards and the Donkey and Cart carrying Rognil back to the village. Stilh was determined to come back and either arrest the kid or kill him. He was close friends with Rognil, and while he was Grateful that the kid reunited him with his long lost Niece, he couldn't forgive him for what happened to Rognil.

Cashew Casually walked through the Forest with a Stone Golem following him. Cashew was reading while walking. Specifically reading about Stone Golems in the Golem Construction Spellbook.

According to the book, Stone Golems are immune to all forms of magic Tier 3 and lower. A different Spellbook mentioned 10 Tiers of magic, with anything tier 7 and above being magic that only the strongest of the strong can use.

While most of the commonly used spells are Tier 1 or 2, Magic at tier 4 or 5 are only possible by really old and powerful mages. Mages who are nearing 1,000 years old and up. While Young mages can only go up to tier 3 at best.

Cashew was rather happy with this, Stone Golems are apparently immune to all magic that young mages use. Golems are also completely immune to weapons that slash, but they are especially weak to weapons that pierce and are blunt. That being said, you'd still need exceptional strength to do so in the first place, and the stone Golem is capable of healing itself.

This seems contradictory, but Stone Golems are also weak to earth magic. Earth Magic is always pierce or blunt, Stone Golems also find themselves weak to Ice Magic, but primarily the defense breaking aspect of Ice Magic.

That said, the only way to truely defeat a Stone Golem is to either Destroy the Core or Fight until it runs out of Mana.

Finally reaching home, Cashew doesn't notice anything different. He forgot about the Rune and he doesn't detect anything bad.

Cashew: Stone Golem. Raise your left hand if you can deconstruct yourself and reconstruct yourself as you please.

The Stone Golem Raised its Left Hand.

Cashew: Lower your left hand if you are still aware of your surroundings when you deconstruct yourself.

The Stone Golem lowered its Left Hand.

Cashew: Raise your left hand if you don't use Mana when you deconstruct yourself.

The Stone Golem did not raise its Left hand.

Cashew: That's unfortunate... Stone Golem, I'll let you choose where, but find a spot near this road, deconstruct yourself, and deter any intruders. Everyone is an intruder, but if -... You don't know what the guards look like. Go deconstruct yourself within eyesight of the path and defend against any intruders.

Without hesitation, the Stone Golem did exactly that. Next to the path, there was a bunch of shrub and bushes next to the road, the Stone Golem deconstructed itself behind that shrub.

Cashew went inside the house and reluctantly layed on the bed, he then froze and remembered something.

Cashew: Dammit, I should of brought all those dead animal Carcasses back!
