"Get out of my way."
"I can't. I won't, not unless you tell me."
Amora, who watched both of them, shook her head and turned, walking off.
"You're not going to tell me? Why? Because I'm a vampire and you don't like vampires?"
"Precisely!" She bit out. "I don't think you need to ask me twice!"
"Come with me." Zekial snatched her arm and began to walk off.
She fought to get out of his grip. "Hey, let go of me! Let go."
"Stop fighting, girl, just come with me. I'd like to show you something."
She furrowed her brows at him, but a certain part of her calmed down and reluctantly allowed him to drag her off to wherever he was going.

"How do you feel?"
Augustus asked, head turning toward Alexis, who'd opened her eyes.
Alexis glanced at him and half smiled. "I can't get out of this bed. My entire body hurts."
Augustus got up from the sofa and dragged over the chair in the room to sit near the bed. He said, "Why didn't you just stop? Why did you keep going?"
