Alexis started this training at six in the evening after the sun fell. Zekial was a vampire, so he couldn't train her during the day. Now it was almost nine p.m., and Alexis had yet to touch his shadow.
If she kept going at this rate, she was never going to sleep. She might even collapse from exhaustion.
"I am starting to see what you mean. She is not touching him even in a week at all. I can barely even see him moving," Kaelis said as if none of it made sense to him. "How is she supposed to catch up to him? Alexis is below regular omegas right now."
"Yes, but that doesn't take away that she's a special kind of omega," Augustus replied, clarifying. "He's trying to get her to evolve."
"Evolve?" Kaelis cocked a brow and glanced inside the training ring. "Surely not at the rate this is going. Look at her. She can barely breathe."
Zekial lowered his gaze to Alexis who was crouched on the ground, palms on the sans. She was breathing heavily as if she was near collapsing.
