"I've heard this voice before," Robert said calmly.
"Oh? Who is it?" asked the senior student.
"Gellert Grindelwald."
At this moment, the door in front of Anne opened, and Vita Rozier was standing behind it.
"Auntie," Anne called timidly.
"Well, Annie, come in." After Vita let Annie in, she closed the door tightly.
Robert and his senior student ignored the gate and walked through it, as if passing through a layer of smoke.
Behind the door was a luxuriously decorated office.
The man sat behind a large desk, looking gently at Anne, who had just entered and seemed uneasy.
"Miss Rozier, welcome... welcome to join my big family," Grindelwald said, standing up and greeting her enthusiastically.
"Hello... Hello, Mr. Grindelwald," Anne said nervously.
"Don't be nervous, Annie... Can I call you Annie?" Grindelwald smiled.
"Of course, sir..."
"Don't be nervous. Since you have joined our big family, we are family. Would you be nervous around your own family?" Grindelwald said gently.
"No, sir."
"So, relax, kid. Would you like some dessert? Perhaps you prefer French desserts like your aunt?" Grindelwald asked, opening a cabinet next to him and displaying an array of desserts.
Anne's eyes widened. It was a cabinet with a traceless stretching spell cast on it, filled with an assortment of desserts.
She had never seen so many desserts in her life!
"Or do you like English ones?" Grindelwald asked.
"No, French is fine," Anne said quickly.
"Okay." Grindelwald knocked on the cupboard door, and several plates of desserts flew out, landing in front of Anne.
"Would you like some juice? Or something else? Feel free. I have everything here," Grindelwald offered.
"It's all... it's all right," Anne said quickly.
At this moment, the senior, who had been watching them, couldn't help but sigh: "This guy is really scary. Even when facing a child, he maintains his own personality..."
Robert crossed his arms and said, "Of course, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to gather so many loyal subordinates. To be honest, as a leader, he does have a unique charm."
Grindelwald said nothing directly, instead watching Anne eat dessert and drink juice quietly.
"Is it tasty?"
"It's... delicious," Anne put down the dessert uneasily. "Sir, do you... do you really agree to let me join your business?"
"Of course. I welcome all wizards willing to join our big family. So, when I learned that you wanted to join, I asked Vita to bring you here," Grindelwald smiled.
"But... although I want to join, I'm too young, and I don't know how I can help..." Anne said nervously.
"Everyone has their place, Anne," Grindelwald said softly.
Anne felt excited hearing this. "As long as you need me, I am very willing to serve you."
"Not to serve me, Anne, but for our great cause," Grindelwald said seriously.
"Yes!" Anne nodded solemnly.
Suddenly, Grindelwald asked casually, "I heard that you will be attending Beauxbatons this year?"
"Um, Beauxbatons. My parents are over there."
"Well, it's a very good school..." Grindelwald thought for a moment before saying, "In fact, we need your help. We need your assistance in our cause."
"Really? What is it?" Anne asked eagerly.
"I want to ask if you are willing to go to Hogwarts?" Grindelwald asked. "Of course, if you don't want to..."
"I would!" Anne nodded eagerly. "If this can help our cause..."
Grindelwald's face lit up with joy. "That's great! I believe you can complete the task perfectly. Besides, Hogwarts is no worse than Beauxbatons. You don't have to worry about your studies being affected."
"What do you need me to do?" Anne asked impatiently.
"I need you to help me observe two people... They are freshmen, just like you. They are very important to our cause! So... get close to them, become their friends, and report everything you learn from them to me."
Grindelwald pulled out a file from a drawer.
"The information on both of them is in this file. Please read it carefully when you return. Also, if possible... pay special attention to Wade Lee."
"Okay!" Anne took the file excitedly. "Is there anything else I should pay attention to?"
"There is one more thing... This is more important than observing the two students," Grindelwald said. "I need you to find a notebook, and discover what is written inside. This task may be difficult and dangerous... If you don't want to..."
Anne said eagerly, "I do!"
Grindelwald smiled. "Okay, remember, if you can't find anything, bring the notebook back to me."
"Understood!"
"The people will remember your devotion to our great cause, Miss Rozier..."
The dream began to dissipate at this moment, and the castle and Grindelwald turned into white mist.
Anne's clothes returned to their original appearance, and her expression became confused again. She stood blankly in the mist.
"This foolish girl is so easy to deceive... However, it can be seen that Grindelwald is the mastermind behind this. But we still don't know his exact motive," said the senior student.
"Perhaps it's still our previous guess. He may have seen incomplete pictures through prophecy. In those pictures, there might be things affecting his ambition. What he did should be to verify it," Robert said. "I followed Annie tonight and found that she was looking for the notebook's location, but when she arrived, she had no idea what she was looking for."
"So what's next?" asked the senior.
"I do nothing and pretend that I don't know," Robert answered.
The senior frowned. "If you don't take the notebook, what about your ancient magic?"
"It's okay. I've memorized everything in the notebook. If Annie doesn't find anything special, she can keep it. She can't see ancient magic anyway, so it won't affect my practice."
The senior sighed. "I just worry that ancient magic might appear in the images he saw. If that happens, your magic may be exposed, and the person who plotted against me might target you because of this."
"It's useless to worry now. We can only take it step by step until we know more..."
After some thought, Robert spoke again: "Keywords: notebook, Wade Lee, Tom Riddle."
As soon as he finished speaking, the white mist began to swirl, and a new scene appeared in the dream.
"Ah... this is Hogwarts, the library corridor," the senior student said with nostalgia.
"Yes..." Robert looked at the scene quietly.
Anne's confusion disappeared once again, and her clothes changed again.
She stood at the end of the corridor, wearing a translucent dress, quietly peering ahead.
Robert knew this was Anne's memory. Even though she wore an invisibility cloak at that time, he and his senior could see through it due to their God's vision.
"She was spying on us that night," Robert said helplessly.
Anne hesitated for a moment but didn't risk returning to the library again, turning away instead.
"Is this the night you went looking for your notebook?" the senior asked.
"Yes... We were just one step apart. She took the notebook first, then met us," Robert said, a bit frustrated. "But she probably doesn't know we were there for the notebook..."
Anne looked at the ruins in confusion. The places in the notebook were all ruins.
She had searched three ruins and found nothing special.
"Forget it, I'll go back tonight," Anne thought, feeling sleepy.
Behind a large tree, Robert silently watched Anne disappear under the invisibility cloak.
He had just brought her back.
Under the influence of the nightmare magic, Anne had no idea how much time had passed, thinking she had only been in a trance.
"What did Grindelwald see that made him attach so much importance to me and Tom? Even though he knew he would face Dumbledore, he came to England to find us?" Robert wondered.
"I just want to know what Grindelwald wants to gain from us! Only then can my plan be perfected," Robert thought to himself.
