Jenny woke up with a start in the middle of the night. She had a terrible nightmare that Liam was killing James. The familiar atmosphere of the room she was held hostage in welcomed her vision, and she sighed, even though she felt the least bit relieved.
Right then, two maids barged into the room, taking her by surprise. One of them was middle-aged, while the other was a young woman wearing a typical black-white maid uniform, their hair tied into a bun. One of them approached her, and Jenny felt a tinge of warmth and tenderness in those eyes, as if she was pitying her.
"Siana! Stop staring at her and untie her now! We don't have the entire day to get her ready," the other one, who seemed a bit older, asserted, catching Jenny's attention. She even had an aura around her that intimidated Jenny.
Jenny's eyes remained glued to the one named Siana, who was busy cutting her zip ties. Soon, she finished and came to face her.
