"Where is Mila?!" Lacie pushed the hospital door, searching frantically for her sister inside another ward.
"Mum, she's not in here!!"
Mrs. Grace Dennis rubbed her forehead gently, resting her back against the wall as she was already out of breath.
"How did she slip from your eyes? You had one job!! Just to watch her!" Lacie barked at her mother.
"I... she... she said she wanted water. I didn't know..." her voice trailed, shaking with every word she said.
Zyran ran out from Roman's office, joining them in the hallway.
"Did you see her?"
The silence and soft sobs were enough to tell Zyran what he needed. Up until now, he had yet to believe or even accept what the doctor had said about his child. The shock had been too much for all of them to handle, but one person had it toughest of all. Over a month, she refused to wake up according to the doctors. Finally, the first day she woke up, she went missing.
