Even Mila held her breath when she saw her mother's hand on Zyran's face and the harsh slap that followed it.
"What did you do to my son?" Delphine pushed Grace to the side.
Mrs Dennis got her balance immediately, "Exactly what you did to my daughter. How does it feel?"
"I told you! These people thi—"
Zyran stood straight, he touched the corner of his lips. "I'm really sorry you had to witness what just happened."
"What? Zy, are you really apologizing to them?"
Ignoring Delphine, Zyran raised his face. "I'll take you inside, and get the butler to bring in your bags."
Mila held her mother's hand, following her inside with Zyran leading the way. While Lacie and her children, with Mila's father, followed quietly. Everyone was clearly too shocked to say a word.
"Zyran! Zyran!!" Delphine screamed, grabbing her own hair out of annoyance.
"Argh," the woman shrieked like the world was about to end, but it didn't.
