Chapter 21 - A Lost Cause (1)

Kodak finds himself back at the Tensai household in the basement below his room and sees that Kiko is still holding onto his shoulder.

Suddenly, she disappears, seemingly going back into the mindscape. Kodak wonders where she went and calls out her name. "Kiko, where are you!"

A sudden painful feeling coursed through Kodak, sending him to his knees. "Keuk!" Dark sparks of black and purple flared throughout the room as Kodak struggled to control the energy, feeling as though his body was falling apart.

He had forgotten about the new energy from earlier that was surging inside him; the pain was immense, and each little twitch of his body felt like torture.

The skin on his body starts to crack, almost crumbling. Kiko rushed to his side, putting her hands on his body to try and heal him with Repaired Will.

But as she did this, the system responded to the action, and a message popped up from Kodak's point of view.

[Error! Avatar: Kiko Fujiwara cannot heal you with the Skill: Repaired Will!]

Kodak groaned in anger and pain. Was he too weak for this change he was going through? Was he a liability?

But as those thoughts crept into his mind, he heard someone he had heard of, but knew he didn't have good intentions.

"Looks like you're still an amateur, Kodak." He knew it was someone that Kuroi had warned him about.

"(Fūshuku!? What the hell do you want!?)" Kodak spoke his thoughts into the mindscape, talking to Fūshuku.

Fūshuku smirked, a dark, twisted smile creeping across his pale face, as his laughter echoed eerily in the dimly lit room of the mindscape. His eyes glinted with a strange delight, reflecting a mix of malice and amusement as if he found sheer joy in the chaos around him. Laced with an unsettling quality, his laughter sent shivers down Kodak's spine.

"I guess Kuroi's out of commission for the time being since he usually blocks off my connection with you," Fūshuku says while looking over to his right in the mindscape.

Kuroi was on the floor of the dark mindscape, curled up in a ball. Fūshuku then took his astral form, looking at Kodak. "Man, you look so shitty!" He said, mocking the state Kodak was in from trying to suppress the destructive energy housed in his body. "But, at least you didn't almost lose your astral projection. Hell, if anyone else lost it they'd be dead, well except for Kuroi." Fūshuku smirked, and a vivid memory of Kuroi entered his mind—one of being protected from bullies at a young age.

But he shook his head, cast the memory aside, and focused back on Kodak. "This energy, you're gonna be a partially destructive battle arts user."

Kodak looked at Fūshuku, confused. "How do you know about that power?!" He asked, bewildered and suspicious of his intentions.

Not knowing what Fūshuku had in store for him, and the plan he was conjuring up.

Suddenly, a glowing light appeared from Kodak's stomach. He wondered what this could be, but then a memory flashed back in his mind.

The one where he revealed the symbol on his stomach to Kuroi and Kiko.

The words of Kuroi's response to him back then echoed through his mind. "That seal on your stomach still prevents us from revealing anything worthwhile to anyone of Kawanari blood."

Kodak then lifted his shirt and saw that most of the seal had faded away, but not completely. Fūshuku looked at the symbol, resembling more of a sun and moon separately. A confident smile then appeared on Fūshuku's face. "Looks like you're gonna awaken fully pretty soon."

He looked back at the symbol and smirked, before briefly almost losing control of the destructive energy. "Ow!"

Fūshuku puts his hand on Kodak's back, energy soars through his body. "(What is this feeling!?)"

"I'm channeling my energy through your body, intertwining it with your own as I do so. However, this delicate process can only last for about two minutes. The energy I'm manipulating is highly volatile, and controlling this immense flow takes a toll on me." As Fūshuku spoke, he suddenly winced in pain, his expression twisted with effort. Around them, vibrant sparks of energy erupted, crackling and dancing in the air, a vivid manifestation of the intense power being unleashed in the moment.

Kodak felt a surge of raw energy coursing through him, instinctively trying to suppress it with all his might, pushing it away as if it were a physical force.

Suddenly, Fūshuku's voice cut through the tension like a knife, laced with urgency and anger. "DON'T DO THAT!" he shouted, his face contorted with fear. The desperation in his expression was palpable.

"IF YOU KEEP TRYING TO SUPPRESS THE ENERGY INSTEAD OF LETTING IT RUN WILD AND CONTROLLING THE FLOW, YOU'LL DIE!" The weight of Fūshuku's words hung in the air, a grim warning that sent a chill down Kodak's spine, making him acutely aware of the dangerous potential swirling around him.

Kodak's mind began to race about all the possibilities rushing into his mind. "How will this change me? Will I even be me? Can I still protect those deserving without drowning in my suffering?" His mind raced even further, before briefly stopping.

"(So what if this changes me? I'll stay true to myself and push through this formidable wall that seeks to keep me at bay!)" A surge of newfound determination surged through Kodak's mind, filling him with clarity and purpose. He envisioned the vast potential this power held for him, a tantalizing glimpse into the strength and resilience that awaited him on the other side.

Kodak erupted with a fierce outburst, his voice laced with raw anger and unwavering determination. The intensity of his emotions surged through him, fueled by the strong will he clung to, desperate not to let go.

Fūshuku looked over at Kodak, chuckling at the massive energy emanating around him. "(Not only is he controlling all the newfound revenant inside himself, but he's absorbing it into his current pool of revenant. Even my own, if I'm not careful, he'll absorb everything. Even my techniques.)"

Tensai Household 10:00 PM...

Ashiro and Satsujin sit across from each other in the dim light of the living room, an oppressive silence thickening the air and creating an uneasy atmosphere. The shadows dance around them, and Ashiro's gaze remains cold and detached, his eyes like two empty voids, revealing nothing of the turmoil. The weight of unspoken words hangs heavily between them, amplifying the tension that suffuses the space.

The two of them then look towards the TV. A redhead reporter was near the destroyed building of the Tensai family diner.

Destruction was everywhere across the streets, rubble and slight collateral damage were clear to see across the destroyed block.

"Famous Tensai Family Diner was destroyed by what seemed to be two individuals flying into the sky. Zero casualties, but tens of people are injured. We don't know the identity of one of them. But we do know who the male suspect is."

Satsujin stared at the news and scratched his head with a feeling of uneasiness crawling on his back.

The news then switches from the reporter to a video of Kodak talking to Fumiko. "You know you can't beat me, right?" The confidence radiates from the video until it cuts right back to the reporter.

"We have identified the male in the video as Kodak Kawanari, a sophomore student at Tōzai Gakuen."

Multiple people widened their eyes in suspense at the statement the news had just revealed. "We recommend not contacting him for the time being."

Ashiro looked at the news, bringing back the look in his eyes. "Dad, what are they going to do with Kodak?" His voice still showed that he and his father still harbored a deep connection with one another.

Satsujin jumped from his seat, rushing in with a gentle embrace for his son. "Are you okay, Ashiro?!"

His hand held his son's face, with a look of relief in his eyes. The two of them then enter a warm embrace, with Ashiro breaking down in tears and crying with his father. "I-I-I'm sorry, Dad. I just wanted Atsuo to be safe from those animatronics." His tears bleed onto Satsujin's shirt as his father does the same.

The two of them then look at the news on TV, the same redhead news reporter was introducing a Commissioner from the police department.

"We are now with Commissioner Masao, who is still going over the investigation of the Dal-Hee and Akuma of the Kawanari family." A man with a muscular build and a scar across his left eye walks into the camera's frame and shakes his hand with the reporter. His grip was strong and sturdy, yet gentle for the small lady in front of him.

His voice then spoke out towards the camera with a booming authority. "For those who suspect Kodak to be the murderer of his family. Just stop, you're saying that a boy who wholeheartedly loves his family would murder them?!"

Masao thinks back to the scene of the house where he saw Kodak tearing through the house out of anger and grief.

"(That kiddo is nowhere near close to being blamed for the deaths of that strong family. Plus, the look in his eyes is more than enough proof that he's gonna kill whatever bastard did this to his family. Makes me chuckle at what he has in store for the killer.)"

Ashiro looks at the TV and sees that the Commissioner and the news reporter are explaining the situation."We believe that people are awakening supernatural abilities, the question is, why?"

As the news reporter says this, a large explosion destroys a nearby gas station, catching fire all across the surrounding street. People's screams echo throughout the city block.

Masao looks at the mass destruction across the city. Suddenly, a random person tackles him.

Masao looked at the man who tackled him, his mind seemed scrambled. The man yearned for Masao's help, grabbing him by the collar of his uniform. "PLEASE, HELP ME MASAO-SAN. MY BODY FEELS LIKE IT'S GONNA EXPLODE!"

Masao looked at the distressed man, and blood started to leak from the man's eyes, and then his mouth. A single word then echoes from the man's lips. "Please."

Masao held the man by his shoulder, trying to reassure him of the current situation. A bright light then lit up in front of the Commissioner's face.

[Conditions fulfilled. Welcome, Masao.]

The Commissioner looked at the system's message might up once more, delivering multiple messages.

[Revenant Unlocked!]

[Avatar is linking up with you!]

As Masao saw this message, the man on him suddenly passed out, his pulse was completely numb.

Masao picked up the man's lifeless body and walked off, setting him down on the ground.

He cursed out loud while slamming his fist into the ground of the street, and a surge of energy then rushed through his entire body. His fist crashed through the asphalt and caused a small crater from the impact.

Masao backed away from the damage he had just done, looking back at his fist and then at the small crater once more.

Seoul, Korea 10:25 PM....

A boy sits on a couch, someone who seems to be a high schooler's age, his hair a shade of darkened yellow with streaks of black that are scattered across his hair.

His skin was pale white, looking faded, with his veins imitating streaks of lightning around his body. His eyes had bags under them with a thunder symbol across his cheek, showing his handsome face.

As this teen sat on the couch and watched the news, his eyes widened at the photo of Kodak Kawanari. He saw Masao talking about how all Kawanari family members were almost dead, except for the 5 great leaders in Seoul, Korea, and Kodak Kawanari.

The boy stood from his couch and leaned closer to the screen. A twisted smile covered his face as he started to laugh like a psychopath. "HAHAHAHAHA!"

The hysterical laughter continued for a couple of minutes before he stopped. "That's what you get for breaking my leg, you Kawanari trash!"

The teen finally showed his face, revealing that it was Azar Tento. A cast was still around his leg, and his face showed nothing but spite and hatred for Kodak ever since their brief fight.

A woman's voice then called to Azar, "Darling, it's the middle of the night. What are you yapping about?" Her voice was soothing and addictive to listen to. I guess that's why he pursued her after all.

Azar turned around and looked at his girlfriend. Her face was beautiful beyond anything else in his eyes, her attitude was like an icy storm. But he loved that about her, even more than her stunning body. "Looks like karma struck this bastard finally, don't you know what that means, Yuki?" He said while hastily pointing towards the TV.

The girl looked over, her eyes widened in shock at the news. "Looks like he changed, and what's better is that we and many others know his location now." Yuki's attitude changed instantly, becoming more twisted and mocking, almost more than Azar's.

The two of them jump up, hugging one another. "THIS IS IT, WE GET TO FINALLY HAVE OUR REVENGE, YUKI-CHAN!"

Tensai Household, 11:45 PM...

Kodak let out a breath of relief. The energy emanating from his body felt surreal to Fūshuku and Kiko standing around him.

He smiled at his newfound power and threw a couple of punches and kicks, the power and speed behind them felt unreal to even grasp.

"(My body feels so light and powerful, is this what Fūshuku meant by letting the energy take over?!)"

A message from the system then popped up from Kodak's point of view, a smile appeared from the notification he read.

[Destructive Martial Arts Leveled up! LVL0 --> LVL1]

[Description loading...]

Kodak looked at the message loading in front of his eyes, possibilities of newfound strength made him smile. "(With this, I might be able to contend with Jashi in case he takes over Satsujin's body!)"

A blue light from the system lit the room up, as Kodak looked at the fully loaded message and smirked at it.

[Loading complete!]

[Destructive Martial Arts: A technique that uses formations of various skills and martial arts, and converts them into a fighting style for a revenant user.]

Kodak tenses the muscles in his body, and a dark purple energy surges within them, almost like a response to his flexing.

He then looks behind himself and towards Fūshuku, slightly smiling at him. "You were right. Letting that destructive energy take over the newly evolved Kinetic energy technique was the right move."

Kodak then looked to the right to see an abundance of messages sent from the system. His eyes widened in shock as multiple pings and notifications clouded his vision.

[New Skills forged and Evolved!]

Kodak looked at the message and thought about it for a moment. "(New skills that were forged and evolved!? I didn't even know the system was able to do this!?)"

[Current skills: Kinetic Energy, Martial Aura, Partial Destructive Energy, Radial Aura, Martial Aura Adapter, Kinetic Blitz, Wingless Flight, and Bodily Shockwave.]

Kodak looked at his current skills shown by the system, looking at all his hard work paying off.

"(Just as I suspected, my strength and talent is top-tier!)"

A notification noise then rang, signaling Kodak that another message had been sent from the system.

[New Innate techniques and combinations of skills!]

[Innate Techniques: Destructive Battle Arts (40%), Kinetic Charge and Burst Formations!]

[Skills: Radial Shockwave Impact, Kinetic Weaponry!]

Kodak's eyes gleamed as he leaned closer to the screen, a triumphant grin spreading across his face. With a swift, triumphant punch into the air, he let out a shout of joy. "YES!" The sound echoed in the room, filled with the thrill of victory and the palpable energy of the moment.

Another message appeared, gathering Kodak's undivided attention. "(Another one!?)"

[Elligible For Advanced Revenant Techniques!]

[Y / N?]

Kodak smirked at the question from the system and spoke his answer, ready for what awaited him. "Ye-"

But before he could give his answer, he was suddenly interrupted by Fūshuku. " Hold up, ki, are you sure you wanna accept that offer? You barely covered basic revenant techniques, so are you sure you wanna jump the gun?"

Kodak paused, a swirl of uncertainty clouding his thoughts. Was this the right decision for him? After all, he had only just scratched the surface of the basic techniques for revenant usage and output. In truth, he hadn't even begun to master the new skills he had recently acquired.

Hell, Kodak didn't even know what would happen once he fully unlocked Destructive Battle Arts. The very thought of uncertainty made him anxious.

Fūshuku notices the scrambled confusion plastered on Kodak's face. "(He's overthinking about the decision and what could happen.)"

Kodak then feels a hand grab his shoulder, causing him to reflexively sweep-kick towards the person's legs. As he went to kick the legs, Kodak noticed the person was standing behind him.

"Paranoid much?" Said Kiko, smacking Kodak over the head with her fist.

"Ow!" Kodak yelped in pain from Kiko's fist and began yelling at her. " Jesus, what the hell kind of person hits someone over the head because of that, you psycho!?"

Kiko ignored his harsh words and forced him into a sitting position. "SIT." Her voice echoed with authority, letting Kodak know it was probably best not to test her and that aggressive temper of hers.

A message appeared from the system, letting Kodak know what type of skill Kiko was using in front of him.

[Avatar Kiko used Skill: Appraisal!]

As she scanned Kodak's body, she saw the various skills and techniques that dwelt within his newly awakened body. "(Not only is he nearly halfway completed with Destructive Battle Arts, but he's got a lot of techniques and skills similar to what Kuroi and I use for fighting.)"

Fūshuku leaned over, looking at Kiko's message from the system. "This kid's amazing, ain't he?"

Kiko turned around, startled, by hearing a sudden voice from Fūshuku after he had been so quiet until now. "Jesus! Don't scare me like that, you idiot!"

Fūshuku smirked at Kiko's aggressive response. "(Jeez, you two really are similar.)" He thought to himself, talking about the similarities between her and Kodak.

Kiko then suddenly turned back towards Fūshuku, "Wait, how can you see the system from my point of view!?" She asked, confused about how he could see the system when it was meant for her.

Fūshuku let out a light chuckle. "You should know this by now, Kiko, but when two or more avatars exist within a revenant user, they share the same system. Why do you think you and Kuroi could see the same thing?"

Kiko turned away her head in embarrassment from her lack of experience as an avatar, "J-just shut up and look at the new techniques acquired."

As Kiko looked at the description of Kodak's evolved powers, shocked by what it told her. "(How did he unlock this much strength!?)"

Title: Revenant User

Name: Kodak Kawanari

Strength: 15K

Speed: 16K

Revenant Output: 10K

Revenant Efficiency: 9K

Revenant Pool: 20K

Rank: A (Low)

Skills: Aura Applications, Bodily Shockwave, Wingless Flight, Appraisal, Revenant Radar.

Innate Techniques: Kinetic Energy Formations, Destructive Battle Arts(40%), Aura Adapter, ???

Fūshuku then leaned over to look at the system's message to Kiko, "What type of skills did he unlock?"

Fūshuku looked over, shocked at the amount of skills and innate techniques Kodak had. "(Aura adapter and a martial formation fighting style for a revenant user!?")

Kodak nudged Kiko's hand off his back, scratching it as he rose from the sitting position he was in. he then looked back at Kiko and gave her a weird look. "Why the hell were you looking at my back for so long? Are you some kind of pervert?"

Kiko ignored Kodak's jokes and looked at Fūshuku, asking him. "Why are you helping Kodak exactly?" Her voice showed signs of suspicion in her tone. "After all, you were the one who said you'd take over his body?"

Fūshuku stood there with silence emanating from his closed mouth, but it didn't matter. He was calm, collected, and most importantly, he was in control. But his calmness was then broken by a message from the system.

[Innate technique was successfully placed in the vessel of Kodak Kawanari!]

His eyes lingered on the message lying still in front of him and Kiko. Their eyes traced back and forth over the message until Kodak looked over at it. "What's the meaning of this, Fūshuku?"

Kodak's tone was commanding, but regardless of what he said, Fūshuku scoffed. "You think you can command me around!"

Fūshuku then lunged at Kodak's throwing a punch but stopped short on purpose. He wasn't stupid enough to pick a fight with the unpredictable attitude of Kodak without the usage of backlash.

Fūshuku smirked at Kodak and extended his hand in a gesture of goodwill, a friendly handshake lingering in the air between them. "Well, played, brat. You seem to be as cautious as ever."

However, Kodak swiftly withdrew his handshake, a mixture of skepticism and caution. "Don't get me wrong; I appreciate your help," Kodak said, his tone firm but not unkind. "Still, it makes me wonder what else you're capable of." His words were not intended to be disrespectful; rather, they reflected a vigilant stance, a guarded demeanor that he was not ready to let down.

"If you were able to cultivate and reform my revenant to reach new heights, it still leaves me suspicious of your intentions. Are you training me up so you can take over my body?"

Fūshuku's expression remained unyielding at Kodak's sharp accusation, his features betraying no hint of concern.

His calm demeanor was almost unsettling, as if he were impervious to the weight of the words thrown at him, standing with a quiet confidence that suggested he had weathered similar storms before.

Fūshuku's voice then finally spoke after ignoring Kodak's words of suspicion. "You are just like Kuroi. The way you both just disregard the good I've done for you two." As Fūshuku spoke more and more, his voice became increasingly aggressive, like a knife sharpening itself before making its mark. "YOU TWO ARE JUST THE DAMN SAME!"

Suddenly, the entire basement they stood in began to shake as dust began to fall from the stone-cold ceiling. A dense atmosphere formed around them as words echoed through the room. "Goodbye then."

Kiko then suddenly disappears, entering Kodak's mindscape. Her voice then called to him. "You have to power through this! As soon as you feel the bind on your body slip, power up!"

Kodak had a confused look on his face before he felt his body tighten and contort after the single word Fūshuku spoke within the mindscape Kiko and he warped into. "BIND."

"What the hell!?" Kodak exclaimed, panic surging through him as he strained against an invisible force. His heart raced, but his body felt paralyzed as if weighed down by an unseen weight. Every attempt to shift even an inch was met with utter resistance, leaving him trapped in a bewildering stillness.

"Give it your all, Kodak! What you call your best is merely my worst!" The frenetic energy in Fūshuku's voice reverberated through the mindscape, swirling like a tempest and filling the space with a dense tension. "You should just give up, you know you can't beat me."

Kodak gritted his teeth in anger, he was tired of Fūshuku underestimating him and mocking his suffering for his own amusement. "Give up!? You should know I never give into submission or retreat against an enemy! I'd rather die than give in to weakness. What I need now is the will to preserve through this and kick your ass!"

A message then appeared from Fūshuku's point of view.

[Skill: Destructive Command is being overwhelmed!]

Fūshuku's eyes widened in anger and frustration, his pupils went blood-red. His voice then screamed at Kodak through the mindscape as another memory replayed through his head, so much so that even Kodak could see it.

They both looked at the memory, showing a younger Kuroi and Fūshuku fighting one another.

Kuroi dodged multiple swings from the blade Fūshuku held tightly in his hands, as a yell of anger released from Fūshuku's voice. "WHY DON'T YOU GIVE UP, YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS ISN'T EASY FOR ME EITHER!"

Kuroi strikes the blade head-on with Fūshuku, and both of their weapons shatter with the sound of metal scattering across the firm ground of the forest they stood in. As Kuroi yelled at Fūshuku, an exact response to the scream from earlier. "WHY WOULD YOU GO THROUGH ALL THIS TROUBLE! TO SPITE ME AND KIKO-SAN!? OR ARE YOU JUST THIS STUBBORN WHEN IT COMES TO IGNORING THE HELP RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU FŪSHUKU!?" Tears then fell from Kuroi as he rushed at his opponent. "TELL ME WAS THIS WORTH IT, THE DEATHS OF ALL OUR FRIENDS!?"

Revenant coursed through his arm, as a brutal hook crashed across Fūshuku's jaw. Kuroi's voice then yelled once more. "DEATH BURST!" A loud sound echoes through the forest as dark-colored sparks of revenant explode from the impact, and wind pressure from the attack splits the ground underneath Kuroi and Fūshuku.

The forest around them catches fire, branches flying away from them, almost looking like they're trying to flee the scene of destruction unleashed on the forest.

Birds drop dead from the sky as the green scenery becomes covered in the blood of the innocent animals killed in the destruction.

Kuroi and Fūshuku stand in the crater from the impact. Kuroi began to breathe heavily as he left the crater first. "Don't come back to the village. Cause I'll kill you without batting an eye." His eyes locked onto Fūshuku, a shiver of unease threading through his soul. "Ha, Haha. HAHAHAHAHAHA! IT'S BRUTAL SHIT LIKE THAT IS WHY I ADORE YOU, KUROI-SAN!" The sadistic laughter mingled with Fūshuku's ragged shouts, reverberating through the desolate wasteland where the once-vibrant forest lay in ruins. The air was thick with despair, each echo a haunting reminder of the devastation that surrounded them.

Kuroi clenched his fist, staring at Fūshuku's bruised and bloody face from the attack he had just unleashed. He then turns to the corpses of the lifeless animals around him. "(I killed these undeserving animals cause of my anger, losing control of my volatile emotions. I HATE IT!)"

Kuroi then punched the ground, creating a crater. Fūshuku looked over, watching as Kuroi buried the dead animals in the crater, filling it with the debris from the forest. "May you find peace from this cruel world."

Fūshuku scoffed, denying the animals of their grave. "Just forget about their pathetic lives, they are fucking pointless, Kuroi-San. Wait, no, that's not your name. Your true name is the demonic blade of the Fujiwara Clan."

Kuroi lashed out at Fūshuku, sending him flying across the wasteland, eventually crashing into a sign of the village that reads: Land of the Fujiwara.

The shattered pieces of the sign were scattered through the village as bystanders watched the gruesome beatdown commence. Some of them even yell about the violence occurring. " GO KILL HIM, DEMONIC BLADE!"

The sound of punches lands into Fūshuku's face, his face brutally crushed with every strike. Kuroi then asked him one simple, yet soul-crushing question. "Was it worth it? Killing my sister!?"

Fūshuku just stared at Kuroi with a battered face as he laughed in amusement, "Ha! It was just a small part of something much bigger than this!"

Kuroi's aura from his revenant immediately turned dark red, his fist clenched tightly with his anger. "You give me no choice."

A blade then formed from his off hand, as the look he gave Fūshuku was empty. Like he had no emotions left for him to toy with. "I don't even need to get angry to kill you." His tone was grey and left nothing to use. "Goodbye, you fallen bastard."

His blade swung through Fūshuku as his head fell onto the ground, blood leaked onto the ground as Kuroi had an empty look with his eyes void of any emotions. Kuroi then turned his head, looking behind him to see a figure with a strong stature and a blue geom blade next to his side. "It's done, my lord." Kuroi bowed before the man, showing his respect. "You need him, dead, so I did it @#@!%&*"

The name and face of the man before Kuroi were blurred as Kodak and Fūshuku find themselves back in the present. Thoughts echoed in his mind as he battled the binding grip his body had on the ground. "(What the hell did that memory have to do with me!? But that blade looks like the same one in my room!?)"

Kodak ignored those thoughts, leaving them for later. "But first I need to overcome this stubborn asshole."

[Skill: Aura Applications activated!]

[Radial Aura Selected]

The basement's air became as dense as Kodak's own aura, overpowering the hold Fūshuku's technique had on him. "COME ON JUST FUCK OFF!!!"

A burst of energy bursts within Kodak's body, as Fūshuku gets sent flying back from the clash, knocking him out cold.

Kiko looks at him, her hand lights up with revenant as she heals him. "(Regardless of what I think, he's a part of Kodak, thus we need him to help with our young disciple's growth.)"
