The commander turned back to Seiya, leading him out of the office, while the assistant simply watched them go with questioning eyes—in disbelief that the commander was really going to have his meal together with Seiya.
Just when the assistant breathed a sigh of relief, thinking they had left, the commander came peeking through the door, causing the assistant to flinch.
"Don't forget to have this mess cleaned up," the commander said, his voice as low as a whisper, quiet and creepy.
He chuckled softly seeing his assistant's pale face before leaving.
Seiya and the commander arrived at the breakfast table. The commander took his place at the head, while Seiya settled into the nearest seat beside him.
As they awaited their meals, Seiya took the cutleries resting neatly on a napkin on the table, holding the fork in one hand and the knife in the other—impatiently waiting for their meals to be served.
