Back at the estate, Audrey and Sofia were smug... until they realized the boys weren't actually mad.
No, they were smirking.
"What's with the look?" Audrey asked.
Caleb pinned her to the couch with one hand on her waist. "You broke the rules, sweetheart."
Her eyes widened. "Wait, I—"
His lips silenced her, slow and possessive.
Across the room, Sofia gasped as Ethan lifted her onto the kitchen counter.
"We were barely gone—" she began, breathlessly.
"And yet I missed you like hell," Ethan muttered against her neck.
The next morning, the "punishment" was branded proudly in the form of deep purple hickeys on both their necks.

Sofia stared at her reflection in horror. "ETHAN. I LOOK LIKE I FOUGHT A VAMPIRE."
She attacked her neck with concealer like a warrior with war paint.
"Don't you dare say anything," she warned Audrey.
Audrey was examining her own faint mark in the mirror. "You think it's a mosquito bite?"
Sofia turned slowly. "Audrey."
"Hm?"
"Girl. That's not a mosquito."
Audrey blinked. "No? I mean, it kind of looks like one…"
Sofia sighed and flopped onto the bed. "You are dangerously cute."
