Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: The Acceptance Of the Serpent

While sinking into the abyssal waters, Testarossa couldn't hear, see or touch anything; it was just a never-ending darkness that was surrounding her. She closed her eyes and started drifting deeper into the water, but while drifting deeper into the abyss, she felt something slithering around her. She opened her eyes and saw a white snake with orange eyes that wrapped around her whole body. The snake spoke and said, "You have finally noticed me, have you?" Testarossa's eyes opened wide in shock, and she said, "You're the serpent that lives within me." The Serpent tightened its grip. Around Testarossa, she tried to break free, but the Serpent was so strong. The Serpent said, "I have been devouring your magical energy and your blood for years, and it has made you so weak you can't even fight back against me." Testarossa thought back in her mind, realising she felt the Serpent's power a long time ago but chose to ignore it, and in her mind she realised that the Serpent's presence she felt a long time ago she felt every time she was close to death. Testarossa realised the only thing that's been keeping her alive for the longest time was this Serpent; she said, "I realise now that you were keeping me from dying for the longest time, and I ignored you. I understand why you have been devouring me slowly, and I am sorry for not even acknowledging your existence until now." The Serpent unwrapped itself and said, "You are dying, and without me, you would be dead by now. I accept your apology, but it won't change your fate." Testarossa understood the circumstances she was in, but then she thought back to Rinko's words saying, "You must accept yourself." So Testarossa said to the snake, "Why don't you fight alongside me? If you're the only thing keeping me alive, you might as aswell fight with me." The snake liked that idea and said, "Alright then, I accept your offer. I am the primordial serpent god Agera. With my godly power and your mother's godly blood, the fragment within you will awaken. You will be one of the four lords of the new world." Testarossa understood, and her body started changing; her eyes became snake-like, and her top changed, and her body started evolving.
