Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Blood Demon

Garuda wasted no time and dashed towards Kaya, throwing multiple punches towards her. But the punches completely missed Kaya, not even grazing her. Kaya sheathed her swords and used her blood magic to create a blood hand that grabbed Garuda and threw her into the floor. Kaya said, "My role here today isn't to beat you but to slow you down." Garuda smiled and jumped towards Kaya, landing a kick to the back of her head, but it had no effect. Kaya grabbed her leg and slammed her into the floor. Garuda said, "How, even with my enhanced body, you shouldn't be able to overpower me?" Kaya started to laugh historically, and she said, "You are truly a weak opponent. I was hoping for some entertainment, but you truly are disappointing." Garuda started to get mad; she enhanced her body to the max and punched Kaya in the face, hitting her nose really hard. As she pulled her fist away, she realised her hand was bleeding. Kaya said, "You don't understand. Do let me teach you something. While I am in my true form, all blood that is in my facility is under my control. That even includes the blood that goes around your body." Clutched her hand and made the blood stream in Garuda's arm explode. Garuda couldn't heal her arm, but then Kaya grabbed one of her swords and sheath slamming it in the ground. She said, "You realise it now. I can stop your regeneration, but I want to see you sink deeper into despair, so I will show you a glimpse of my true power." Kaya's eyes shone bright red, and the atmosphere started to change . Garuda couldn't move her body, but she saw a moon that was covered in blood, and she was surrounded by water, and she couldn't move. Kaya started to walk up to Garuda. Kaya removed her top, and blood veins appeared on her body. Kaya said, This is the river of the… Damned, there are 3 arcs to this river; you will experience the first one,* kaya. Smiled psychopathically

She started blushing with excitement, and she said one word: "Sync". As Garuda started falling into the river, she experienced herself being split in half over and over again. She wasn't able to move; she was trapped, feeling the pain of being killed thousands of times.
