"You and Edward seem platonic," Gabe casually looked at me as I drove back to his house to drop him off.
It was still early enough that we could have hung out but I hadn't called the maids in the past week and my sheets needed a desperate change. Take away containers were also all over the kitchen and living room which made me look like a slob.
Edward didn't need to see I had locked myself in for the past week he ignored me. That would make me look like I was mourning him and I wasn't.
However it would be in my best interest to clear up just so that no cockroach landed on his back if and when we did the nasty on my bed.
I blinked and tried to think how to answer that. "Yeah, he's less annoying than he was a month ago." He nodded but pressed his lips together. His silence made me raise my eyebrow. "What? Did I do something wrong? I tried to be very diplomatic for Malia. Can't argue around a pregnant woman."
